Looks a nice day for it . I do that route . And link it round to travellers rest near hope and then up towards Sheffield past stanage edge. Maybe see you out and about 1 day . I normally stop at grindleford station for lunch and do it all again
Hi there! I've never owned a motorcycle and everything in regards to owning and riding one is quite frankly, a mystery to me. Although the internet provides an overwhelming amount of information, I have not been able to get definite answers to the simple questions. My question being all about riding gear. Is the thermal layer of a proper riding jacket sufficient for winter or is additional clothing required? What is good as a base layer and or middle layer? What does one wear under the jacket on a warm day or on a cool day? Would it be possible for you to make a video demonstrating your own choices of base-layers, middle layers and general jacket configurations? I'm not interested in brands, I'm only interested in the manner the average rider goes about dressing up depending on the weather. Hope I'm not being a burden.
@@adventurex4883 Much obliged! I am so thankful. I'm in the middle of viewing your video and I am so grateful for your effort. You probably can tell by the nature of my question that I've never owned a motorcycle before, but am looking forward, when circumstances permit, in buying one and this "dressing guide" of yours is so very, very helpful in understanding and planning ahead. As a side note, I've disliked motorcycles my entire life. Too risky, simple as that. Then I randomly saw the CB 500X and fell in love! Once more thank you.

I was around that way a couple of weeks ago, I should have given it a go. Nice ride and scenery.

Any tips for going downhill on this type of road?
Body weight back, cover the back brake, slow down, visually plan route ahead.
Much appreciated.
