- My first impressions of the most Northern capital city in the world - Reykjavik, Iceland!
If you've been to Iceland and can offer any recommendations for Reykjavik, leave them in the comments.

This video makes me miss home very much. Not many people show the casual everyday vibe of the city, especially in winter. Now that I am not there, I realize how much I miss it.
This is THE BEST video of Reykjavík that i have seen. Seeing theese fimiliar places in such beauty almost made me cry of happiness and nostalgia (especially the kids singing in Hallgrimmskyrkja)
We were there several years ago and drove the Ring Road 'round the entire country. Love this country so much. I hope you went on a food tour and perhaps the Golden Circle. So much to see and do. Thanks for the memories!!
My old neighborhood, in the opening clip you can see my old school. Nice video, although to me there is nothing surreal about this, it's just another December morning.
that church is awesome! The architecture and exterior views look like something from Lord of The Rings or Game of Thrones! thanks for sharing Dan.
Despite its northern location it’s much warmer than Montreal in the winter. Always happy to se you traveling, Dan! I was in South America recently, partly inspired by your videos!!
It is raining in Montreal and no snow for Xmas in Montreal
+7 celcius in Reykjavik now for 6 days, in January
beautiful city
Wow! Dan, what a spectacular, fascinating walking/narrated video! I absolutely love this and I am so grateful to be able to experience Iceland along with you on your trip! Two friends visited about a year ago, although I think they were there in the summer months. I will check! I am sending them this fabulous video from your channel! I'd love to travel to Reykjavik and to other parts of Iceland! My friends totally loved their trip too! Huge gratitude! Stay safe and well! Cheers!! 🙂
You know that Church, you are supposed to be able to go up the tower, Great view over that little city
The church is named Hallgrímskirkja and yes you can go almost to the top. The tower is about 70 meter tall. Regards from Iceland.
Nice video. I’ve always wanted to visit Iceland. Maybe soon. Enjoy the rest of your visit.
i am so jealous of this guy omg
It's the best.
go rent a car/van and go camping!! best way to experience Iceland IMO :) the city is not nearly as fascinating as the great outdoors of the island!
Terrible idea. I'm sure that's "possible" in winter time, but the nice cabins that are everywhere in Iceland with hot tubs is the way to go when it's wet and cold
Love it Dan!!
Very nice
I would love to visit Iceland but only to se the Aurora Borealis but as you cant really predict it its difficult to book for a specific solar event. Great walk round 2x👍
I love your snow flakes effect! Any link where to get it?
I suppose Canada wasn't cold enough!!! 😊 🥶 hahaha ..
Iceland ! How Fantastic !!!
It has been +7 celcius here for 5 days now, in January
Iceland is not so cold. Like this last winter in Reykjavik, the lowest temperature was probably ~-10C.
Reykjavik, how many languages do you speak? That'd be a fun video to see.
Actually I have seen one such video on TH-cam. Regards from Iceland.
You have learned, if you think you know what the weather is like in Iceland, just wait a couple of minutes
And now you have a large volcanic fissure eruption taking place along the peninsula.
What are you recording with, iceland looks hectic

Northern lights are not just one spot haha.
McDonalds was told to leave because they wanted to import meat for there burgers
the church is mid
