Thats a huge compliment, thanks so much. Sometimes I worry that people will get bored if I make the videos too long. This one I did try to pack in a ton of stuff though haha.
I've always loved your channel, but man, you're taking it to new levels with this vlog. This is quite inspirational. Thank you so much for doing this for us.
O my god. I've never in my whole life seen a setting like it. How you managed to concentrate on taking pictures with your jaw dropping on the ground I'll never know ? Imagine trying to picture that in your mind and then actually seeing it, it must of surly blew your brains to shreds, god almighty! it can't surly be on this planet can it? Even with those first class shots in the bag they just couldn't possibly do it justice, unbelievable. All I can say is thank heavens we have photographers like yourself Michael, to bring us such awesome images that simply the vast majority of us would just never see.👍
WOW! A spectacular intersection of location, light, atmosphere and talent. I hope you stopped at the local travel and tourism board. I think they might be interested in those images and timelapses.
Nature can be so beautiful and mesmerising.....to be there would have been amazing....loved your wide angle shot with the flowers but your telephoto ones made you feel you were in there....thanks for a great video....wish it had been longer 🌿
Wonderful images Michael. I prefer the wider angle shot of the mountain. I must say seeing the drop offs around you made me nervous just watching. The wide angle image of the flowers is an epic shot. I also love some of your drone footage.
That was such a great watch Michael. Loved every second of it, and it's made me want to go back to Madeira again now. The light in some of those shots was so beautiful. Fantastic time lapse work too. Thanks for sharing this.
I loved the video, I liked the clouds in the one picture on the left but I also liked the whole picture of the one on the right. The Flowers 🌹 in the picture was fantastic 🤩
Michael your work as always is superb. Well done once more. I got my hands on a 100-400 a bit after starting watching your videos. You are truly an inspiration.
Mind blowing 😍✨ A spectacular photos and time lapse clips Really inspirational content Thank you so much for the content and the effort ❤ All the best 🔥
I'm always game to give an opinion when asked, and you seem to be sincerely interested in what we think! I liked the tighter digital crop on this one because of the mountain size/detail and the dramatic clouds. Always love your videos, Michael!
You are so inspiring Michael. The drone, images and timelapses are beautiful and somewhat emotional. I set off to Madeira tomorrow (26th/ Boxing Day). My mind is exploding with logistics and worries about parking at locations etc, but you have incentivized me. I am there for 10 days, so fingers crossed. p.s. like you, I am not a fan of sunrise photography, especially with time zone differences. I wish you very happy holidays and a Merry Christmas! And darn it, I still need to finish your photoshop tutorial if I am going to blend images like you did in this video! 😉
These images are amazing! I can't wait to hike these mountains myself in the summer, hopefully it's true about the weather there and there's still cloud and fog about
Incredible dude. I was looking forward to this one. Those conditions and resulting images are the stuff of dreams!!! People often say I should have more views on my content but you Sir should have so many more!!!
Watching the video, I loved how you went for the shots I'd seen too ... sorry to say, though, although the shots were great, all I could feel was envy!! You must have felt like a kid let loose in one ginormous sweet-shop ;)
Great video, Michael. I was there for sunrise and it was absolutely incredible. I love some of those shots you captured. I really should spend more time with the telephoto! I agree with you about the weather, though! No way you can predict it as it changes in only short distances and very quickly!
All of the photos you shared are fantastic. I love the drama and moodiness of the fog. As far as the digital vs film photos go, I like the extra amount of the scene in the film version but I like the composition of the digital version a little more.

Absolutely, I second that. 😊
Thats a huge compliment, thanks so much. Sometimes I worry that people will get bored if I make the videos too long. This one I did try to pack in a ton of stuff though haha.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on it! I think I would lean towards the digital as well.

Not really my style, but there are loads of fantastic images that include it from other photographers.
Watching the video, I loved how you went for the shots I'd seen too ... sorry to say, though, although the shots were great, all I could feel was envy!! You must have felt like a kid let loose in one ginormous sweet-shop ;)
