Thank you so much Neville for all that you do to share these brilliant videos with those of us who are not privileged to be near the Lanc. It’s genuinely appreciated.
Cheers Earl.
superb update from Andrew - the plan forward is pretty incredible, and having the donor sections of the aircraft is such an important part of that, i can only congratulate everyone on the efforts taken to make this bird fly again

Excellent video as always Neville thanks for sharing it’s mind boggling the amount of work still to carried out, and of course we don’t really know how aviation will change over the next 5 years. As always a huge shout out to everyone involved in this fantastic project 🇬🇧👍👏
Cheers Ian..
Cheers for that bro it was very interesting. Safe travels

Great video as ever Neville thank you for hosting this event on TH-cam. Big thanks also for Andrew Panton, his family and his team and all the volunteers who are making this possible.

My old neighbour in Folkestone who must have passed away 20 yrs was a young engineer in WW2 who worked on the design and manufacturing of bomber gun turrets.
Hi Graeme the Lads and Lasses did e great job of work in the 40s
What a FANTASTIC video: First time I understand the IMPRESSIVE Andrew Panton; the SOUND was Goldilocks RIGHT, wealth of detail and the context that helps me put ALL the videos together. THANK YOU !!!
Cheers HH.
Thank you Neville, it was very interesting listening to Andrew explaining the full plan for Jane's restoration
Cheers Gary
Am I the only one thinking/hoping that the bits of NX664 should be kept at EK till NX611 is finished and then putting 664 together before shipping back and having 2 Lancs on the ground together?? 🤔😃
Well we can dream! Great update here Once again Neville. Look forward to part 2!!
Cheers Andy.
Cheers Andy.

Thank you so much for creating these videos Neville. I wanted to say thanks in person last Saturday however I spent too much time around Jane following Andrew's excellent presentation.
Cheers William and thank you.
Brilliant coverage Neville . Must say Andrew's narration was exemplary the extreme advances in such very short time . Sadly , only war weems to necessitate these rapid changes. ......those 4 bolts won't give any problems at all .....we hope ! Thanks Neville . I bet as soon as Andrew heard your dolcette tones he thought " oh no ! Not Neville ! " 😅😅😅Thanks Neville
Cheers John.
Great to see this tour again Neville - nice to meet you again too! Spotted myself in the first few minutes of this one lol
Cheers Karen.
Cheers Karen.
Doing a stress test on a hanger roof, with an irreplaceable aircraft in the hanger… 🤦♂️ Extraordinary work by the lads working in the Lanc NX611 though, congratulations.
Cheers Dr.
Brilliant Neville! I really wish I was there. Maybe next year. Thanks!
Cheers Michael.
Cheers Michael
Great video as always Nev
Cheers Rich.
Cheers Rich.
Excellent job Nev! Can you check with Andrew and see if the repaint of WU21 cockpit and bombaimers position will be in a washable paint?
I would like to say a big thank you to you Neville, for taking the time to record the restoration of Just Jane. Also a big thank you to Andrew for a up date on the restoration.
Cheers Bob.
I recognise the gentleman with the Bergundy NX611 sweat shirt… very distinctive face but can’t remember where I have seen him. Possibly at RAF Cosford at some point?
Sorry can't help Chris.
Eventually we shall see her fly again, who will pilot the aircraft ? again many thanks Neville.
No idea William.
At 2.10, was that just a slip of the tongue? Start of year 5? Very interesting talk - I saw last year's, and this sound is much better, I think.
Hi DrivermanO, Andrew does not count the lost year due to Covid19 . My Videos are numbered it would be confusing to change.
Hi Neville, great video giving an overview of the project. Is there a video in your series which covers the process of how the various components are declared to be in an airworthy condition? Are there inspections carried out by an outside agency like the CAA?
Hi Papa Boule, yes the CAA have been involved since the start of the restoration. The Centre as 4 registered engineers with the CAA who can singe off work as Airworthy.
Hi Papa Boule, the CAA oversee the parts which are going to be Airworthy. Four of the engineers who work at the Centre are registered with the CAA they can pass work done by them self and work done by other engineers as Airworthy
@@nevillewheeldon1693 Thank you for the reply. That level of skill must be a valuable qualification for these engineers to hold.
Thanks from everyone who can't get down for a restoration tour. Have you been given any idea where the loan rear cockpit and centre section will be sourced from when the time comes?
Yes James, all from the French Lancaster NX664.
Yes James, the French Lancaster NX664
@@nevillewheeldon1693 Thank Neville, Its been concerning me.
Andrew says its the start of year 5, yet your video says year 6, which ones correct?
We are not counting the year lost to COVID but Nev does
Hi Dominic, I number the video so it would be confusing to change also state the year number.
When it's airborne will the public be allowed to go on rides For a hefty price of course ? We do that here in the states to raise funds
I was on this tour and asked Andrew that very question. They are looking at taking passengers on flights eventually, but will still keep doing the taxyruns as well 🙂
@@jazzkazz
I've been watching since they started and never thought to ask Now all I have to do is wait another four years, convince them to fly to America and I'm set 👍
I think you will find the CAA rules say you can't take passengers on an aircraft not built to carry passengers. They are hoping that will change as it did with smaller aircraft like the Spitfire and Hurricane but nothing in Bombers as yet.
@@cmg6848 we have exemptions here in the states with rules so I try and get up in any warbirds i can
@@cmg6848 Andrew is working very closely with the CAA and has been since they started this project. Still a few years away yet, but it's definitely what they are planning to do 🙂
Its N X six one one not N X six eleven.....
Brilliant. Thank you Neville.
Cheers Claire.
