Soloing Wingspan European Expansion - The Mill

- This week on The Mill, I used the show as an excuse to get some gaming in. It's been a wild/busy week and a half and I've had no time to play anything with anyone. I know some of the concern about this expansion is "How much am I going to see these new birds?" so let's actually get a game in, at as low of a player count as you can get, and see how often we see those new birds and powers.

When the Raven says to take food from the supply, that refers to the general supply of food tokens, not the dice in the bird feeder. You just take whatever food you want from the token supply and leave the dice alone.

Not a critique, but if you're often finding yourself using dice to track numbers rather than that just being for getting table space and camera framing to work well together, you might want to look into MTG 'spindown life counters' - d20s numbered so that adjacent numbers are all adjacent to each other. Designed primarially for MTG, but they're a bit more user friendly than a die for keeping track of numbers in a linear fashion because where the next number is is consistent relative to the current number.
Gizensha Fox I have Dice Throne. I could have used those. I also have Unmatched that might have Big Foot’s dial go to 25. I had options. I never even thought of it. Thank you for the great recommendation!

@10:53 why exactly did you pay one of any kind of resource? I think you have to pay nothing.
Good catch. You're right. I shouldn't have discarded the grain. I had to lose the eggs because of the Red Kites card text, but I definitely didn't need to pay the grain unless I put it on the player mat by itself (not tucking another bird). I'll add a note to that in the video. Thank you.
