    Can't wait. I'm doing violet white paint + Silver glitter. Going for a twilight starry feel.

      michelle lyon can I ask where you got it? I am painting right now and I don’t want to have to order off of Amazon or mail away so I was hoping it’s sold somewhere in the states.

      @@suepoch3931 Hey Sue, I bought it from a store called B&M in the UK.
      Depending where you live, id imagine a good hardware store that sells paints would stock it.
      I used 3 bags of glitter (approx 150 grms) to a 2 and a half litre of pot of paint.
      You could add more but they recommend min of 3 for that amount of paint.
      It doesnt flake off either.
      I hope that helps, and happy painting. ☺

      I have a couple questions since you already have done this before-does it leave a textured grit on the wall?, did you have to seal it afterwards for it not to flake everywhere, and is it cleanable once it’s dry? 😊Thank you in advance ❤

    I thought you had to use the buffer once it’s dry to see sparkle?

      That’s what I’ve read too.

    Was this the ultra fine, fine, chunky or extra chunky glitter that you use for this shine?

    Does the wall have any texture from the glitter? And is it hard to cover up the glitter when repainting the wall or is it still visible?

    I would like to do a glitter accent wall. How many packets do I need? I want it very textured and completely glitter!! Also, oil based paint like Behr from Home Depot work? Also, I see a glaze online ...So what's the different if I use a glaze vs. paint. My wall is already painted the color I want. So I need to know what I should buy before I buy your glitter!!! :)

      @ This was during Covid, I don’t remember! I painted it glitter but it’s subtle. Two little packs for one wall. Accent wall but you only see it close up 🤷🏼‍♀️

    What paint sheen do you recommend when adding the glitter to paint if you want to paint an interior wall?

  • @rosemarywilliams5136
    @rosemarywilliams5136 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you have to add it to paint or can you use it as regular glitter

    I’m not impressed. You should have taken a wide shot of the actual WALLS, so that people would know that what you showed, was, in fact, the glitter that you mixed in. For all we know, you may have simply shown us a glittery piece of whatever. Especially since so many people on Amazon are saying that the glitter didn’t show at all in their various projects.

    I had ZERO glitter actually come through. All that happened was my paint looks textured and bumpy.

      did you use the buffing pad ? I didnt see much until it was buffed.

    • @VikioneShipper
      @VikioneShipper 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      jemini I did, and all the pad did was take paint off :(

    • @VikioneShipper
      @VikioneShipper 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      craiganderickalee22 Sorry, but all the pads did was succeed in stripping the paint. I bought the exact brand recommended as well.

      Yeah I was thinking the paint would just coat every glitter speck.. I've seen people do glitter walls but they pressed the actual glitter onto the wet paint instead of mixing it in the paint...very messy job!!

    • @Charliesangel79
      @Charliesangel79 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Or should I say... They put the glitter on a piece of paper and blew it onto the wall with a hair dryer

      I said the same thing about this video. We have *NO* idea what they showed us at the end, and IMO, if it was really the wall that they painted, they would have shown the entire thing, as opposed to a closeup shot of a small area.
      I have read that most people who have used this successfully had to use multiple bags per gallon, and even the seller on Amazon recommends 5 bags per gallon. In other words, about $100 worth of glitter additive! 😩
