I have one of these 88 vt800's. gonA fix it up as my solo bike! 😎
Screw you lol. I really hate how easy you made it look getting that carb back in 😂. I just cleaned mine last night and it took me 3 and half hours just getting it seated back in there. In all honesty though great videos, they really help people like me just getting into the hobby. Keep it up.
Thanks man it dose suck installing them carbs on the vt800. Lol
i have the same problem too i got a 88 honda shadow 600 and only makes a buzzing noise i just replaced the battery and still does the same thing
Try replacing the starter solonoid, Buzzing is coming from the starter solonoid.
Did you buy new upper rubber boots for the carburetors? Where did you get them in that case? I have a 1986 vt750 with a cracked upper boot and cant find new ones anywhere. 😢
No, my upper boats were in good condition, but try changing eBay for some new or used ones.
I have a 2006 honda shadow 600 vtx that ahs bee sitting for a while. i am planning to change the oil and th plugs. can i try to start it so he oil lubricates the motor or do i have to turn the crankshaft to lobricate the motor??? and which way do i turn the crankshaft clockwise or counterclockwise????
Hey, so what I always do is when I'm changing the spark plugs, I'll spray a bit of wd40 in each cylinder, and before installing the new plugs crank, the bike a few times. I've turned on bikes that have been sitting for over 15 years that way.
@@hondagaragespraying wd40 in cylinder is okay?
Yeah, wd40 in the cylinder walls when you remove the old plugs and just crank it without the plugs inside, and it should lube it up.
