I didn't know about this, because I don't really use Facebook, but I've looked it up online and it seems you can't paste text in a new post on the Facebook app. The app doesn't allow it for some reason. You could perhaps try the Facebook website on your phone and see if that works. Or if that still doesn't, you might have to either manually retype it directly in Facebook or copy and paste it on a computer if possible. The clipboard is just where things go when they're waiting to be pasted, there's no way to access it or anything, you just have to paste.
I don't agree it is easy to do following his instructions. After copy it goes to clipboard and I can't find it. I need to copy and paste in an order format.
The clipboard isn't something you can find, that just means it's ready to be pasted. If you proceed to the next step where you paste it, the text you copied will then appear.
This doesn't work in all apps. The two I'm having trouble with copying text from are Instagram & TH-cam (one variation of TH-cam I can copy from- but if I go to TH-cam from a link on an app, that TH-cam version won't allow me to copy) Are there app settings I can change to allow it for those apps, or is there something in my phone settings that I can change ?
Lol, this is an example of my problem. Because I was taken through a link (from a Google search) to your TH-cam page, I was unable to copy my first comment so I could add to it, so I just attached comments to my first comment question.
Unfortunately a lot of social media apps like TH-cam and Instagram don't allow you to copy things like comments or descriptions. Usually if you're currently typing a comment or something like that, you will be able to copy that text while you're typing it, but once it's been posted you can't. There's nothing you can change on your phone for this, it's just a rule the apps have in place.
My Samsung A32 does not show the line: Copy, Save, Select All, etc. The word Dictionary comes on with three (3) dots on the right. I have to click on the dots and the word Copy comes on. The standard one would come on before the latest update. The one you show is the one I want for my phone. Can anyone help? Thanks
Sorry, but it doesn't look like I have that update on my Samsung phone yet, so I can't try it out. But if a new update has made it that way, I somewhat doubt there will be any setting that can change it back.
You would need to transfer the text to the tablet somehow. There are many ways you can do this, but I usually use Google Keep. You can copy on the phone, then open the Google keep app and create a new note. Then paste whatever you copied into the note. Then, open Google Keep on the tablet, open the note you just created (they should all be synced if both devices are on the same account), and copy the contents on the tablet. Now, you can go and paste it wherever you want on the tablet. Hope this helps.

Copy and pasting normally only works with one thing at a time, as shown in this video. I hear there are some third party "clipboard manager" apps you can install that will allow you to copy multiple different things and then choose which one you paste, but I've never tried any of them, so I'm not sure if they're any good.

Does NOT work on comments and articles posted on you tube. I do not want a screen capture of a video. I want to copy and paste from a youtube written article or written comment. Help.
I'm sorry to hear it's not working, but I don't think it's because you have a Samsung phone. I am using a modern Samsung phone in this video, so it should work just like that. Perhaps you might need to try restarting your phone.

Thanks for the effort, but there is no fast way to copy and paste a lot?! Another aspect of Smartphone inferiority to desktops. With stiff arthritic fingers I copy and paste a lot, and so on Windows, I I use a AutoHotKey script to remap CapsLock to ctrl+c (copy) along with the Esc key to ctrl+v, (paste) and NumLock to Esc (I do not play compter games), and the middle mouse key to ctrl+x (cut). CapsLock::^c Esc::^v mbutton::^x
When it has gone to your clipboard, that basically just means you have copied it. So now you can just go wherever you want to paste, it and paste it. As shown in the video.

I avoid using cell phones for something like that because I never know what I've just done, everything always happens by accident, so if I have to write something, copy & paste, I go to regular PC with mouse, worst of all is outlook email - most confusing app that does what it wants and not what you want.

Unfortunately the TH-cam app doesn't allow that. If you go to the TH-cam website instead, you should be able to copy comments.

You can visit the TH-cam website on a phone, it's just not as good as the app, but it does let you copy comments.

My Android does not show blue at all . says copied to clip board or text . No high light or blue . Anything else I can try?
Are you trying to copy a text message? If so, it won't highlight, you'll just need to tap copy and it will automatically copy the whole message.
