I grew up watching the original Star Wars movies in the 90s thanks to my parents and I gasped when she mentioned this, I got SO upset when a character died, I thought they actually died because I didn’t understand that it was all pretend 🥲🙃 glad to know I’m not alone 😂😭💜
I’m so happy for her. I could tell she was nervous, which is understandable. Yet, she still comes off as gracious, thoughtful & intelligent. I hope nothing but good things for her, & I hope she wins that Oscar & gets to be an Ewok! Ha. I also wanted to be an Ewok & live in the trees! ❤

First time I saw her was in First Cow by Kelly Reichart and she had ONE LINE, and still the got into my head because of her voice. She just has a mesmerizing speaking voice.
I've lived in Oklahoma most of my life. As a Phillips and a boy growing up in Oklahoma, the oil industry and the Osage history is something most of us were aware of, but the complete, synoptic history was never brought to light. This film and Lilly's depiction is a real reenactment of the events and people of the times.
I hope Lily gets the oscar because she is amazing, and has been an amazing actress for awhile. I agree that it is ridiculous that the interview focused so much on Leo.
I wish the interview was more about her and her amazing performance rather than mostly talking about DiCaprio…when he had Scorsese on, he had mentioned about the improve scenes, so she could talk about those too
When she sobs and breaks down in the basement hearing her sister Rita has just been murdered… so powerful. And how she plays a slowly dying woman is just heartbreaking. Such an incredible performance but I fear the Oscar will go to Emma Stone for her performance which is so over the top as to become this thing becoming a person. Not to discredit Emma but it really should go to Lily. The subtle performance when all you have is yourself and looks, emotions without all the CGI and costumes, makeup and transformation is what makes Lily’s performance so much greater to me and deserving of the Academy win ❤
