I desperately want to see more of Lily Gladstone in future movies; she's a treasure.
She has a small but poignant role in Reservation dogs if you haven't checked that out yet! It's a phenomenal almost 100% first nation cast with folks of the community behind the camera too and it is PHENOMENAL! Definitely worth the watch
After this film, no doubt that you will.

Lily brings out something in Leo that only Kate Winslet has done before. He's usually quiet, but whenever he's with her, he cant help but engage in interviews. Maybe its refreshing to him that she is relatively new in Hollywood and doesnt have that "its all about me" type of energy so he doesnt have to forcefully establish chemistry off the film's lenses. She is also an angel, so theres also that.
I noticed that too! Kate Winslet and now Lily Gladstone are the only two to have brought out this side of Leo!!!😊

I think she has a very wise, warm maternal energy and doesn’t take herself too seriously nor him and that makes him comfortable around her. It’s great to see

You’d be surprised how many men actually prefer that. When you’re so used to having women fawning over you every two seconds you start to appreciate being in the company of women who aren’t trying to impress you.
Well like they filmed a motion picture, so clearly she would have not been as intimidated by Leo than probably the first time.
There’s something so nostalgic about Lily. She’s beautiful but also very familiar. Idk how to explain it. But she deserves all the awards.

The detail by Lily Gladstone when signaling her pins after being asked why she isn't married by Ernest shows the level of detail and level of encapulation she embraced when getting into the character of Mollie.
She deserves an Oscar and true recognition as an unbelivable actress.

Yeah it’s a very different look for Leo playing a somewhat dim-witted, gullible puppet for his uncle instead of an over-exuberant, eccentric character.
I met him recently and he’s very sweet and chill so I think his acting is his way to get that out.

I think Stone is the best this year, but to be honest, there are around 10 leading female performances that are Oscar worthy.
And I believe DiCaprio should win the Oscar. Cooper, Murphy, Giammati and Phoenix (both in Napoleon and Beau) were also exceptional.
If Gladstone doesnt win, the Oscars are a joke. Even more so than they already are.

Lily’s expressions, especially the way she speaks with her eyes make her extremely attractive. She reflects a very positive and outgoing yet quiet persona, which feels calming ❤
It's hard to be the star of a film with DiCaprio and De Niro but to me Lily did that. I really hope we see more of her.

I find the dichotomy of Leo interesting. He has these wonderful friendships with amazing women, but just churns through young models, not saying they’re not interesting, they’re just treated differently by him.
Don’t know anything about him at all, but sounds like someone that is afraid of love and a real connection in romance to me.

Is this a new segment Vanity Fair is doing? Hope it continues. Love how actors disect and compare notes of their process in a scene.
The devil horns and angel halo which Lily subconcsiously drew on Leo´s face ties nicely to how she called him (Ernest) handsome devil in the film. It was Lily´s idea for Ernest and it was used in the cab scene.
We get a lot of interesting insight into the background of the table scene with lots of intriguing details.
It´s a pity they didn´t break down more of Molly and Ernest scenes in the film.
She didn't call him handsome devil. He said I don't know what that means but it's probably Indian her handsome devil." That line was not Lily's idea it was add lived by leo. That's why she started laughing. She wasn't expecting him to say that. They mentioned it in a few of the interviews I've seen

Is it just me or is Leo's voice changing? Of course he is getting older, but his voice seems hoarser and deeper than just 5 years ago when he did Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Note: I am referring to his actual voice, not his character's.
