Calling eggman a cannibal is like calling a guy who eats meat a cannibal. Also, this might be the most disturbing exe, even beating out the likes of sonic eyx or no more innocence. I genuinely feel like something similar to starved could exist in the irl, and that adds to the scare factor. It's not a demonic entity, or an eltrich horror, he's a bloodthirsty killer with an appetite for flesh, which is way more realistic.

Reading his wiki file only further terrified me, he’s just a mortal genius who will stop at nothing to satisfy his ceaseless hunger. From what I heard from others, Starved's appearance actually has a reason. Eggman's desire to eat Mobians became so addictive that he wouldn't bother removing them from Furnace before eating them, meaning he would just stick his head in Furnace to eat them even quicker. That is why his skin and hair seems to be absent, because his entire face has been scorched.

I love how the name of Starved's first song, Prey, conveys what Sonic is. Prey, inferior. Furnace is possibly faster and stronger, think about it. A metal version of yourself, you couldn't beat that in a fistfight? It'd just shrug off your hits and hit you back 5x harder. I love it.

Tails and Eggman are equal in IQ. We see him with a knife in the mod; he knows he can't run away anymore. He's lost a tail and Furnace will catch him anyways. I'd like to see how this fight would go down.
Tails having not only a higher I.Q than eggman also has actual fighting experience but decides that a knife is how he's gonna kill eggman, furnace being as strong and fast as sonic but runs on coal makes no sense, sonic runs faster against eggman than furnace but furnace gets ahead of him again makes no sense, sonic not being able to react when he's reacted to literal 100× light attacks. I love the songs and the creepy pasta is an interesting concept but it downplays sonic and tails so much to the point it hurts, and furnace being even comparable to sonic is laughable continuity wise. Prey, and fight or flight are in my top 20 songs now though.
Between the fight between tails and Eggman they both have an IQ of 300 so basically it's going to go down of that's why there's just standing still staring at each other mainly because if whoever is going to make a terrible move is going to die and that's why there's a fear M because if Eggman does decide to rush if tails is too scared to swing his knife he will most likely die
Furnace actually isn't based on metal sonic in design outside of his head, his body is essentially a 1:1 replica of Mecha sonic from sonic 3&k outside of the chest light being three vertical lines instead of a horizontal line That also goes for the exhaust of his thruster which mimics his super Mecha Sonic's charge attack during his boss fight

Not really, considering this was made with good optics in mind. If you really want to sell vegetarian/veganism, you can't put down the human for eating meat since most of us naturally think it isn't wrong. Instead, you gotta make meat look absolutely disgusting and appalling. And that's actually what this does here.
If you look at the wiki for starved there’s a picture of starved eating a bit of sonic, But then there’s a small picture of starved facing the camera and saying “I love that hedgehog” You can clip it out of the other two things going on in the same picture and you just get an image of weird eggman saying he loves sonic. If you show it to someone without context they’ll just be confused.

A few things about Starved since some people still get confused about him in the comments: - Starved isn't a cannibal. He doesn't eat other humans. - Starved never eats raw meat. He always makes sure they're all cooked. - Starved has all the Time Stones, not Chaos Emeralds (unless the creator of Starved says otherwise). - Starved is still as smart as regular Eggman; he's just no longer focused on proving to being the smartest and just wants to eat.
Also, the reason why he says, "You don't even know your own fate, hedgehog." Is because he's using the time stones to go back in time and repeatedly kill and eat sonic
You forgot to mention that Tails is holding a knife. My theory is this: the song is named "Fight or Flight". So, if Tails wins, he is fighting, and maybe he won. If he loses, he either flies away, or dies.
Tails only has one tail from a past attempt, so he probably will not be able to escape if he loses the song as he can't fly, so he probably dies if he loses.
Another random fact: Furnace isn’t based off of metal Sonic he’s actually based off of a more obscure robot Sonic called Mecha Sonic from Sonic 3 and knuckles. Unlike metal. Mecha is less focused on speed and more strength as well as power (which is why he is so bulky compared to Sonic) canonically Mecha can’t actually out speed Sonic but makes up for this with a super form that he gains when absorbing power from the master emerald. Which works just like Sonic’s giving him invariability as well as increased speed and power. All of that on a robot that already is combat focused makes it impossible to damage him in this state. However just like Sonic the form only lasts so long and that would be your time to strike. As much as I like Furnace I would prefer if instead of being based off of how you encounter metal Sonic it would be cool if the went more of a Mecha Sonic route with his song. All and all still a great mod and it is a shame that it was canceled. But at least the devs are getting long deserved rest from all of their free labor.
I heard a fan theory somewhere that the reason Starved Eggman's face looks like that was because in his frenzy to devour Mobians as quickly as possible, he stuck his face into Furnace to eat directly from him before the robot had cooled down, and it caused the flesh and hair on Eggman's face to be burnt off.

The thing about starved eggman is, that he feels real. It's not a demon posessing his body, it's a eggman who's gone to the point of just eating apart every mobian. It's realistic if you take the concept into the real world, which only makes this more terrifying.
In this alternate universe it seems that sonic has met tails during the events of sonic 1 and cd somehow, but in the canon one tails hasn't met sonic until he got to west side island in sonic the hedgehog 2.
I just think that starved has to be one of the darkest exes that would have ever existed. Everyone just gets eaten alive and all hope is lost for the mobians.
I have a theory so outlandish i know it's not true but god damn would it be amazing, imagine that the sonic from prey we saw get killed by furnace soon became Xenophanes, that would explain why eggman got it so much worse than the others.

And fitting, I can definitely see Xeno if it was the victim of Eggman getting a sort of cathartic feeling when he tears away the hands used by a madman to consume the Mobian Populace. I imagine Sonic waking up in a heavily darkened room, the only source of light centered on the blue hedgehog. He tries to move but finds himself stuck by tight, metal restraints binding his wrists and ankles. Starved stands a few feet in front of him, his red skin and attire completely standing out in the dark. Sonic makes the usual witty remark but Starved remains silent, not moving a single inch like a still frame. the Hedgehog's snarky look quickly fades as a sense of overwhelming dread fills the room. The scent of death that surrounds Starved grows ever more intense as he approaches the quivering hedgehog. Starved pauses to take in the absolutely delicious scent of the mobian, mouth visibly watering with each whiff. "Unfortunately, I cannot fully savor your taste as my plans require a..." Starved grimaced, seemingly disdaining the next sound to befoul his mouth. "living subject to carry out successfully, however, A little loss of skin is nothing fatal." The doctor cackled with a raging hunger. With a long and piercing strike, a line was cut into Sonic's stomach, a howling wail carved it's way out of the hedgehog's mouth. You get wrong is Sonic would later confront Furnace at Stardust Speedway, with the latter challenging him to a race. As the race began, Sonic managed to quickly outpace Furnace as Robotnik observed and eventually caught up to him. As Sonic began taunting Robotnik, Furnace raced to the end and set up a trap for Sonic, placing a wall of spikes at the finish line. Once Sonic saw Robotnik slow down, he figured that he had won until he collided face-first with the wall of spikes, killing him instantly sonic die spike not furnace

The backstory of Starved (Eggman) is he was reparing a base of operations that Sonic destroyed, he saw a burnt to the crisp Flicky, he was wondering about what it tasted like, he ate it and something about it made him want to eat every animal in the Sonic Universe, He 1st ate Amy (without Sonic knowing), then Ray (at least I think so.), then baited Sonic to race Furnace (which im pretty sure we all know why.), Sonic basically (But not entirely.) beat Furnace then gloated about it, Starved (Eggman) showed up then Sonic gloated about how he defeated Furnace to the point where he lost focus while racing so he couldn't here Furnace flying below him, then during the end of the race he gloated about winning it then crashed into furnace? (Then unalived.)
Eh the origin story was kinda meh like he just eats a bird and decides "yep this is my thing now" gave me a chuckle and took me back to 2013 me reading horribly written creepypastas and laughing my ass off The design whoever its pretty good just feels like they didn't bother too much with the backstory

The backstory comes off as silly for a couple reasons: you'd have to believe that Eggman never /once/ ate meat in his entire life up until that point, nevermind the fact that a key trait of his is that he's a big 'ole fat lad. You can take one look at Eggman and know he's not a healthy eater, much less a vegetarian (unless his parents were devout vegetarians and/or vegans and forbade him from eating any kind of protein? Either way pretty unrealistic LOL) Not to mention his entire purpose really does boil down to just "yep, this is my thing now" like Azolotl said. What else has he done other than eat animals? Make a robot that cooks them, so he can eat them faster? He's pretty one dimensional, in both origin and story. That being said, Starved has gotta be the best .EXE character I've seen in a while, and I do like his concept a lot. His character design is both striking and unsettling, and it's not a bad thing to make a simple monster for your scary gore story, you know? ... But yeah, he's literally just Carnivore Man Go Brrr.
The cannonicity of how Sonic died is kinda close, you see, instead of ramming sonic, furnace set a spike trap, and when eggman slowed down, Sonic took it as a "I won!" But he didn't realize he was about ram head first into spikes.
I get that many people argue that starved is not a cannibal because he only eats mobians, but logically speaking, a sentient person eating another sentient being even of a different species should still be considered cannibalism. For example, if we discovered sentient aliens that were almost identical to ourselves, yet decided to hunt them for food anyway, it would be strange to not call that cannibalism regardless. Even in terms of a fantasy world, a human eating an orc would be cannibalism as well in my opinion.

Besides the way he captured Mobians for his machines in the early days, and the way he colonized and gentrified planets in colors, Eggman’s schemes normally don’t go beyond just building Eggmanland.
Good vid, tho i think u forgot to include some aspects that affect the plot -Eggman retains his IQ but he is more foccused on eating more than anything, that is why Furnace is propulsed by fire (for what it seems) and it's probably weaker and slower than Sonic, Furnace was able to catch Sonic due to him getting cocky and not noticing Furnace. -Eggman Eats Sonic and Amy in Little Planet (where Sonic CD's events occur) -Tails meet Sonic BEFORE Sonic 2 and AFTER Sonic 1, contrary to the original canon -Tails meets Eggman in Little Planet because he wanted to stop him from using the time stones (Also from Sonic CD) to be able to travel thro time -After the fight Tails is able to stop Starved from using the Stones but he loses one of his tails. IDK if this is like an unpopular opinion but I personally fun starved Eggman pretty dumb. First of all it seems like they made this creepy looking Eggman and tried to form a story around it despite how little it makes sense for Eggman to begin to look like that. Also all he is is a human eating animals, granted him eating anthro animals is more disturbing but he is still just eating animals so unless Eggman was just a vegan he efinetly has eaten animals before. The design is sick and creepy but I feel like he needs a different backstory is all as I find the currently one mega dumb.

There are some flaws with this mod, that I'd like to talk: 1. Sonic is nerfed here, I mean, he travels at the speed of sound, where are his reflexes at? 2. Eggman was never able to make a robot that could be stronger than Sonic, each robot that he creates is either faster or stronger, but can't be both. 3. It doesn't make sense that he became more intelligent because of his obsession with food. 4. Sonic is cocky and etc., but he isn't stupid. 5. Furnace has a lot of fire exposed, wouldn't this deal any consequences to him? 6. What did eggman used to supply furnace? I mean, it would have to a strong enough to outrun the speed of sound.

The concept of starved eggman, a human character in the sonic universe, discovering a taste for our beloved sonic characters and suddenly eating them without a second thought of remorse is very disturbing but it's totally something we as humans would do. I mean, we love eating animals, and mobians are exactly that. it's only natural that eggman would want to. They probably taste amazing lol.

Tails having not only a higher I.Q than eggman also has actual fighting experience but decides that a knife is how he's gonna kill eggman, furnace being as strong and fast as sonic but runs on coal makes no sense, sonic runs faster against eggman than furnace but furnace gets ahead of him again makes no sense, sonic not being able to react when he's reacted to literal 100× light attacks. I love the songs and the creepy pasta is an interesting concept but it downplays sonic and tails so much to the point it hurts, and furnace being even comparable to sonic is laughable continuity wise. Prey, and fight or flight are in my top 20 songs now though.

Furnace actually isn't based on metal sonic in design outside of his head, his body is essentially a 1:1 replica of Mecha sonic from sonic 3&k outside of the chest light being three vertical lines instead of a horizontal line
That also goes for the exhaust of his thruster which mimics his super Mecha Sonic's charge attack during his boss fight

Furnace is actually a recolor of Mecha Sonic with a couple different touches here and there, like the actual furnace in his chest, and his quills.

As a Sonic nerd I can say Ray did not appear in Archie Comics first, he appeared in an old spin-off arcade game called "SegaSonic the Hedgehog" and then they wanted more characters in The Archie Comics so they just kinda took him and designed a modern version

If you look at the wiki for starved there’s a picture of starved eating a bit of sonic, But then there’s a small picture of starved facing the camera and saying “I love that hedgehog”
You can clip it out of the other two things going on in the same picture and you just get an image of weird eggman saying he loves sonic.

A few things about Starved since some people still get confused about him in the comments:
- Starved isn't a cannibal. He doesn't eat other humans.
- Starved never eats raw meat. He always makes sure they're all cooked.
- Starved has all the Time Stones, not Chaos Emeralds (unless the creator of Starved says otherwise).
- Starved is still as smart as regular Eggman; he's just no longer focused on proving to being the smartest and just wants to eat.
Also, the reason why he says, "You don't even know your own fate, hedgehog." Is because he's using the time stones to go back in time and repeatedly kill and eat sonic
You forgot to mention that Tails is holding a knife. My theory is this: the song is named "Fight or Flight". So, if Tails wins, he is fighting, and maybe he won. If he loses, he either flies away, or dies.
Tails only has one tail from a past attempt, so he probably will not be able to escape if he loses the song as he can't fly, so he probably dies if he loses.
Another random fact: Furnace isn’t based off of metal Sonic he’s actually based off of a more obscure robot Sonic called Mecha Sonic from Sonic 3 and knuckles. Unlike metal. Mecha is less focused on speed and more strength as well as power (which is why he is so bulky compared to Sonic) canonically Mecha can’t actually out speed Sonic but makes up for this with a super form that he gains when absorbing power from the master emerald. Which works just like Sonic’s giving him invariability as well as increased speed and power. All of that on a robot that already is combat focused makes it impossible to damage him in this state. However just like Sonic the form only lasts so long and that would be your time to strike.
As much as I like Furnace I would prefer if instead of being based off of how you encounter metal Sonic it would be cool if the went more of a Mecha Sonic route with his song. All and all still a great mod and it is a shame that it was canceled. But at least the devs are getting long deserved rest from all of their free labor.

I heard a fan theory somewhere that the reason Starved Eggman's face looks like that was because in his frenzy to devour Mobians as quickly as possible, he stuck his face into Furnace to eat directly from him before the robot had cooled down, and it caused the flesh and hair on Eggman's face to be burnt off.

The thing about starved eggman is, that he feels real. It's not a demon posessing his body, it's a eggman who's gone to the point of just eating apart every mobian. It's realistic if you take the concept into the real world, which only makes this more terrifying.

In this alternate universe it seems that sonic has met tails during the events of sonic 1 and cd somehow, but in the canon one tails hasn't met sonic until he got to west side island in sonic the hedgehog 2.

And fitting, I can definitely see Xeno if it was the victim of Eggman getting a sort of cathartic feeling when he tears away the hands used by a madman to consume the Mobian Populace. And the X on Xeno's chest could likely act as a sort of visual sign that Xeno is technically not alive.

I imagine Sonic waking up in a heavily darkened room, the only source of light centered on the blue hedgehog. He tries to move but finds himself stuck by tight, metal restraints binding his wrists and ankles. Starved stands a few feet in front of him, his red skin and attire completely standing out in the dark. Sonic makes the usual witty remark but Starved remains silent, not moving a single inch like a still frame. the Hedgehog's snarky look quickly fades as a sense of overwhelming dread fills the room. The scent of death that surrounds Starved grows ever more intense as he approaches the quivering hedgehog. Starved pauses to take in the absolutely delicious scent of the mobian, mouth visibly watering with each whiff. "Unfortunately, I cannot fully savor your taste as my plans require a..." Starved grimaced, seemingly disdaining the next sound to befoul his mouth. "living subject to carry out successfully, however, A little loss of skin is nothing fatal." The doctor cackled with a raging hunger. With a long and piercing strike, a line was cut into Sonic's stomach, a howling wail carved it's way out of the hedgehog's mouth. Giving him no reprieve, another line was marked even harder. The doctor's maniacal laughs were in complete contrast to the mobian's ear-wrenching screams. After a series of various inhumane tests have expired, Sonic is seen with a permanently scarred "X" on his chest, one eye drenched in black with a red dot in place of an eye, seemingly crying blood. Lastly, the tips of his quills are covered in light-purple crystals.

You get wrong is Sonic would later confront Furnace at Stardust Speedway, with the latter challenging him to a race. As the race began, Sonic managed to quickly outpace Furnace as Robotnik observed and eventually caught up to him. As Sonic began taunting Robotnik, Furnace raced to the end and set up a trap for Sonic, placing a wall of spikes at the finish line. Once Sonic saw Robotnik slow down, he figured that he had won until he collided face-first with the wall of spikes, killing him instantly sonic die spike not furnace

The backstory of Starved (Eggman) is he was reparing a base of operations that Sonic destroyed, he saw a burnt to the crisp Flicky, he was wondering about what it tasted like, he ate it and something about it made him want to eat every animal in the Sonic Universe, He 1st ate Amy (without Sonic knowing), then Ray (at least I think so.), then baited Sonic to race Furnace (which im pretty sure we all know why.), Sonic basically (But not entirely.) beat Furnace then gloated about it, Starved (Eggman) showed up then Sonic gloated about how he defeated Furnace to the point where he lost focus while racing so he couldn't here Furnace flying below him, then during the end of the race he gloated about winning it then crashed into furnace? (Then unalived.)

The backstory comes off as silly for a couple reasons: you'd have to believe that Eggman never /once/ ate meat in his entire life up until that point, nevermind the fact that a key trait of his is that he's a big 'ole fat lad. You can take one look at Eggman and know he's not a healthy eater, much less a vegetarian (unless his parents were devout vegetarians and/or vegans and forbade him from eating any kind of protein? Either way pretty unrealistic LOL) Not to mention his entire purpose really does boil down to just "yep, this is my thing now" like Azolotl said. What else has he done other than eat animals? Make a robot that cooks them, so he can eat them faster?
He's pretty one dimensional, in both origin and story. That being said, Starved has gotta be the best .EXE character I've seen in a while, and I do like his concept a lot. His character design is both striking and unsettling, and it's not a bad thing to make a simple monster for your scary gore story, you know?

The cannonicity of how Sonic died is kinda close, you see, instead of ramming sonic, furnace set a spike trap, and when eggman slowed down, Sonic took it as a "I won!" But he didn't realize he was about ram head first into spikes.

I get that many people argue that starved is not a cannibal because he only eats mobians, but logically speaking, a sentient person eating another sentient being even of a different species should still be considered cannibalism. For example, if we discovered sentient aliens that were almost identical to ourselves, yet decided to hunt them for food anyway, it would be strange to not call that cannibalism regardless. Even in terms of a fantasy world, a human eating an orc would be cannibalism as well in my opinion.

At some point I started to believe that Eggman’s deepest desire was to best Sonic, not kill him. This mod highlights how far Eggman could go if not blinded by his pride, if his goals were that much darker. In our continuity, he may be evil, but he could’ve been so much worse…

Besides the way he captured Mobians for his machines in the early days, and the way he colonized and gentrified planets in colors, Eggman’s schemes normally don’t go beyond just building Eggmanland.

-Eggman retains his IQ but he is more foccused on eating more than anything, that is why Furnace is propulsed by fire (for what it seems) and it's probably weaker and slower than Sonic, Furnace was able to catch Sonic due to him getting cocky and not noticing Furnace.
-Eggman Eats Sonic and Amy in Little Planet (where Sonic CD's events occur)
-Tails meet Sonic BEFORE Sonic 2 and AFTER Sonic 1, contrary to the original canon

IDK if this is like an unpopular opinion but I personally fun starved Eggman pretty dumb. First of all it seems like they made this creepy looking Eggman and tried to form a story around it despite how little it makes sense for Eggman to begin to look like that. Also all he is is a human eating animals, granted him eating anthro animals is more disturbing but he is still just eating animals so unless Eggman was just a vegan he efinetly has eaten animals before. The design is sick and creepy but I feel like he needs a different backstory is all as I find the currently one mega dumb.

There are some flaws with this mod, that I'd like to talk:
1. Sonic is nerfed here, I mean, he travels at the speed of sound, where are his reflexes at?
2. Eggman was never able to make a robot that could be stronger than Sonic, each robot that he creates is either faster or stronger, but can't be both.
3. It doesn't make sense that he became more intelligent because of his obsession with food.
4. Sonic is cocky and etc., but he isn't stupid.
5. Furnace has a lot of fire exposed, wouldn't this deal any consequences to him?
6. What did eggman used to supply furnace? I mean, it would have to a strong enough to outrun the speed of sound.

This version of Eggman reminds me of the native American urban legend known as the wendigo, who Is a cannibalistic spirit that when it possess someone they become a cannibal and get cursed with a hunger that never gets satiated, just search them up I'm not explaining the whole thing

Despite Starved Eggman not being a cannibal. He is still pretty scary in our opinion, not to mention the game over screen.
i mean, isnt eating mobians the same thing as eating beef or any other meat? or maybe the mobians had something in them that made starved eggman go insane? i wouldnt call starved eggman a canibal for eating mobians that are literally a different species than he is, i would just call him insane. also i dont see why starved eggman would want to eat one of the tails off of miles because tails dont even have meat on them, tails are basically just skin and bone with fur on them

The concept of starved eggman, a human character in the sonic universe, discovering a taste for our beloved sonic characters and suddenly eating them without a second thought of remorse is very disturbing but it's totally something we as humans would do. I mean, we love eating animals, and mobians are exactly that. it's only natural that eggman would want to. They probably taste amazing lol.
