I once heard Al say on the infisherman show.... "DON'T fish spawning fish, once the fish go on the beds leave them alone"....Guess he dosn't always follow his own advise :(

The video never states they targeted bedding bass, and actually states catching pre to post spawn fish as those were the stages those smallies were found to be.
As to hearing what you heard Al once say - no clue as to why you focus so heavily on a single statement. Times and research change - trust science - the world is not flat!
