Baby sulcata can get water sources from fruits & vegetables stalk as well.
That was VERY interesting. Cute little babies. If I was a lot younger I think I would highly consider getting one. That would be awesome!!
I got mine when I was 60 she's BIG but I I LOVE ❤her and there GREAT but I didn't hold her enough and I pet her but she hisses at me 😂 TRYING to pet her more she comes in the house and sleeps but I WANT to make her a house outside and give her more baths 😂❤

That's great that you are considering their very long age. It's part of the responsibility of choosing the right pet, factoring in life span.
I just got my sulcata today and I’m definitely buying a tortoise home like you got also the light I have is two separate lights do you think this is alright? I live in Louisiana which it is cold right now but 98 percent of the time it’s hot outside.

I keep wanting to get an exotic pet of some sort but I think of how much time I spend every day simply taking care of my cat. You must spend half the day cleaning tanks. A few moments of Ahhhh look at my pets then its back to cleaning.

You can try, they may not eat it, but agave shouldn’t be harmful

It’s an endangered species. You are not suppose to be selling them. This disgusts me!
Shame on you for putting more of these at risk for neglect and abuse. This species gets dumped after people realize how big they get and can’t take care of them. Many suffer from lack of proper nutrition and care. It disgusts me that people like you profit from breeding and selling them.
First of all. They are listed as vulnerable not endangered. So you’re incorrect there. Along with that they are extremely abundant in captivity. The selling of captive bred baby sulcatas is permitted and happens very very often. If anything it’s actually better for the conservation of this species. So try again bud.
There are more sulcatas in the US being kept as pets than there are in their native habitat. That's not to say they're being taken out of the wild, thats predominantly thanks to folks who breed and sell these. It's the height of conservation.
You can buy captive bread no problem.
