- I made Part 4 of the electric plane rig system.
It is a plane guide whose angle can be adjusted freely.
It has a 2-axis angle adjustment mechanism and supports machining of various surfaces.

Well done! That is one of the most impressive jigs you have done so far! Brilliant complement to the plane rig with impressive results! I'll need one next Monday, but can't make it in time - will have to do the job with the table saw and it wont come out nearly as perfect :-)

15:30 I don't understand what the point of this sliding board is. It's not large enough to hold the workpiece down, it doesn't have anything to do with dust collection, is it some sort of safety thing to keep you from sticking your fingers in the blade while you are holding the workpiece in place? Seems to me you could eliminate that, and put some sort of clamping mechanism to push the workpiece down against the table and snug up against the fence so you wouldn't have to hold it with your hand.
You have noticed a good point.
This is a safety shutter to keep my fingers from amputating.

5:30 Why do you sometimes use the wall-mount panel saw, and sometimes you cut the plywood with foam and straightedge on a table? Was this piece too large for the panel saw?

Very creative always, what type of plywood do you use, I can’t find this quality wood in uk, its all construction grade or general use
I live in the UK, it looks like birch ply and is very expensive and not common but some specialist timber suppliers do sell it.

He generally uses Shina plywood from Hokkaido; a sustainable timber renowned for its fine, almost undiscernable grain.
How precise is the 45 degree angle? Would it be good enough for picture framing?
