Agreed, just snagged a set for my Mk7 GTI in gunmetal as my winter wheels. They're just a good timeless design. My summers are on BBS's and I have those for the same reason, just good classic timeless design.

I Use to really like Enkei since I was a small boy but since now seeing what the meaning of their rims stand for all kind asian nonsense stuff etc I would NEVER LIKE or BUY any king of Enkei rims again in my life.
10 years later these wheels still haven't really gone out of style.. that's kinda crazy

Just make it weigh less than my 17x8.5 Volk SE37Ks and I've found a new Autocross wheel.
they're about 20 lbs..and not all enkeis are heavy..they have 15 pound 17 inch wheels..that's not very heavy..
21.2 lbs for 18x8.5
