Thanks Rachel. I have looked at quite a few tutorials on GarageBand by other TH-camrs but yours is much clearer than many of the others. Thanks for doing this and I look forward to seeing more of your videos on this 😊
Nice work Rachel.. funny I think I know GarageBand.. then you tell me something, I’d forgotten, you remind me of.. one thing.. audio interface. On a iPad don’t want loads of wires and connections. I have been using a little Joyo.. plugs into lightning or usb +.. depending on the iPad . Jo x
Great overview! I’ll have to go back and find that backing track video that you made. I’d be interested in a MacOS version of this! (Holy cow, the number of unchecked messages and emails on your Home Screen!) 😮
That's great Rachel, thanks. Looking forward to the next instalments. One question,; how did you get the notes showing on the keyboard keys? Mine just shows C" C3 etc. I have looked in settings but can't find it.
Terrific overview. Why pay $1200 for an OP-1 or other standalone synth when you can have this for free on your iPad. What is also interesting is that Logic Pro looks almost identical to GarageBand if you turn off advanced features. GarageBand is very powerful. Save $200 and start here before graduating to Logic Pro for the advanced mixing features. Looking forward to the next lesson.
lol you are still a music teacher just in a differant placce :) also i talked to mr g and he sayd me and cod can do uke at lunch we just need to say the day we want to do it

I have it on a Mac only... any others out there? This is really good Rachel 👍

I think it also supports some audio interfaces so you can record your instruments like on a pc
