The only song that actually felt like he was mixing the genres was to tango and eurodance. Everyting else just sounded a beat drop genre switch with no mixing at all
I luv u ED!! BUT.... Feels kinda sad not to mix the genres into one collected song instead of doing this.. Whats the point of calling this combined music genres, when it's basicly 1 song that's divided half way in the song, so its basicly not mixed genres but just two songs put into one..? 🤔😓
I agree with other commenters that the songs are disappointing. You didn't combine the genres at all, you just made a song that switches genres. Which, that is a neat idea but there's plenty of genres that do that. Would've liked to see them actually combined! A good song that I like to reference for actually mixing difference genres, is You're So Creepy by Ghost Town. It mixes some form of rock/screamo (?) and dubstep.
I love it! Really. But it kinda reminds me of some type of music Hazbin hotel would make... so ehhhh... (but better obviously) He should also look into Mashups and Kpop. The genre bending is so 🤌 chef's kiss
with all due respect for Ed, what did you expect from a guy that fake laughs for half the video? I actually have a good word for what he does, it's called cheap content. His editor is putting a lot of effort into this, so kudos to him.
Ed you’re the only semi-famous producers on TH-cam that can actually do rock music well in my opinion. I specialize in rock/metal. All the tracks came out sick keep up the good work!
someone give a praise to this man for resisting the temptation, that i certainly would have had, of using that beautiful musicman and remaining style appropriate using a cheap p bass
I'm not someone who usually comments but OMG the pure talent this man has!!!! Everytime he added a new instrument it BLEW MY MIND I honestly hope I can produce music with this ease in the future.
Tango Rock gives off the vibe of a protagonist dancing when suddenly the antagonist pulls up and steals the show and then they have some insane dance off
The Eurodance x Djent mix was awesome, dude. I've always imagined Eurodance mixed with nu metal as both genres include rapping, but rapping isn't required, neither in Eurodance nor Nu Metal. XD Frozen by Celldweller and Blue Stahli might be the closest example as far as I know. XD
To be honest, mixing genres is a perfect use for music AI. You can actually get a example that sounds good that you had no idea how to even start with.
Your eurodance composition just seemed like your brain trying to throw together whatever you remembered of ATC's '00/'01 worldwide smash hit "Around the World" (which apparently didn't include the fact that it already existed as a song)
@@skld-xm ...that can be said (on a superficial level) of many genres, particularly in electronic music, but seriously -- go listen to the song I pointed out and what he did here and tell me it's not an actual copy??
@@dancoroian1 i expected you to reply with the point that all genres do but like that chord progs not that uncommon if you get what i mean, i was being jokey though, sorry lol
@EdTalenti Im interested in what kind of video editing software it took to do the clone duplicate thing, i do a one man Melodic death metal project where i perform everything (lead, rhythm, bass, vocals, keys) and wish to do something similar for my videos and "live stream concerts" if you could possibly tell me what equipment or software i need and how hard it was to learn to do that id have much appreciation lol. Amazing video btw, all the songs were quite catchy, and overall this left me feeling extra motivated and creative cuz you basically nailed a concept ive been dying to learn to do.
Maybe you didn't combine the genres, and this sound more like you just put one after the other, but we have to consider that it's three songs in a short time, so there was no time to make a really integrated mix, so, taking that part into consideration, this was DOPE.
I want to see you stream, people will learn a lot in the process especially those aspiring to do the same and I feel top artist are going to follow suit.
With the bass in your Psychedelic Rock song it started sounding like Gothic Rock & ended up sounding like Occult Rock. Psychedelic Rock does have heavy bass, but it doesn't drone like that.
I hardly have seen any youtuber who can play Piano, Guitar, Drums, Launchpad together. But you are the exceptional. Love from India ❤. I would love to see how you will introduce Indian Bollywood genre. Please make a video on that topic. 🙏
I started following edtalenti since 2017 I saw how he was growing both on Instagram and on you tube ,am really happy he's doing great now ...... please edtalenti I need those old gear bro 🙏 love your work
A lot of these weren’t bad at all like . Deject and Eud. Sounded like real breakdown , I hear that being the start of a song that sounds great but has to grow on you . Like a lot of Future songs not his FT.🔥
For some real examples of Tango/Psychedelic Rock you should check out some 70s argentinian rock bands. Specifically you should really listen to the work of Luis Alberto Spinetta, Charly García and Fito Paez

prob cus he has 2 days to make 3 songs and do a livestream performing those songs
RUN IT BACKKKKK LOL
Why not EDM trap or Trance Metal
exactly what i was going to say
Whoever commented on live stream "I have a beef with the drummer" have my respect
The folk + prog house is literally Avicii

Totally agree
ED! the intro of the first beat is ABSOLUTELY a mix between the song: lalala and rhythm is a dancer
In Argentina the tango/rock fusion is quite common
African Psychedelic Rock opened my mind to so many possibilities.
Man your videos are fun as hell to watch that 2nd beat was crazy bro
Appreciate that 🙏
2:15 bro just made rythm is a dancer
Eurodance x Djent guitar riff sounds like Northlane - Dispossession. Haha

This is prolly the greatest music production video, so much creativity packed in this, thank you
first song was just electric callboy, i love it
Actually one of the most iconic psychedelic rock songs has something similiar to tango beat - Jefferson Airplane "White Rabbit"
It's so nice to see him bursting with enthusiasm. Damn it, it's very energizing, just what you need before going to bed😄
