Thanks for checking out the video! I know a lot of you have been waiting for more WV content. As many of you know I have been really busy and fell a little behind on editing this content. Not to worry though, I will be working on catching up over the next few months and will be releasing all the content from WV in chronological order. I still have a ton of great content to edit from out first trip to the Hatfield McCoy trails in late 2017 which is what you see here. There are 3 days of footage I will be working through (over 600GB) and then I will move on to the other two trips to WV that we did this season in 2018. I'll do my best to work through it as fast as I can without sacrificing any production quality. Stay tuned, I've got a ton of amazing content to release from out last 3 trips in West Virigina! I should have enough content to keep everyone entertained all winter in addition to the new content I am constantly shooting. As most of you know, I'm a one man editing team so the process can be a little slow at times. I assure you it's worth the wait though! Enjoy the videos and make sure to leave me a comment and subscribe! Also, check out my new Shopify store where you can get some cool #TeamAJP swag. All the revenue earned from the swag will go directly back into creating more content for the channel and supplementing the costs associated with creating these videos teamajp.myshopify.com/ Thanks for the support and I'm glad so many of you guys enjoy these videos! #AdrenalineJunkieProd
When we did devil anse it was pouring down rain. You wouldn’t believe how much the trails have changed in some of these systems since you filmed these videos. One of the trails you guys filmed was totally washed away when we went to try it, it was one of the black diamond trails in rock house.
We are from east of Toronto near Belleville and are heading to HM this year 2020 for a week vacation and cant wait ! Great videos ! Actually recognize Colin and Greg from back when our kids raced quads !
Careful if you've never risen Buffalo Mountain the trails there are super narrow as in barely will one SXS go down it. In my widened and lifted Commander I'm a about 72-75" wide and there was times that my inside tire was nearly on the hill side and the out side tire was only about 1-2" from seeing nothing but air under it at places But I still had loads of fun. While in Matewan stop in at the ATV shop adjoining the diner and tell Jeff that Stacy Reid from Louisiana said hi He has cabins up on the hill behind there
jr88brutus my brother and his wife were in his RZR 900xp and they were both scared shit less. They had to replace the Oh Shit Bar and the steering wheel. Due to extreme hand and finger gripping
Hey Michael, ya it is. We will probably be there this December 19th or 20th if all goes according to plan. We will be riding Durhamtown in Georgia on December 15th. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook. That's where I usually post all the info on upcoming rides and the dates.
Hey U.A.T. stoked you enjoy the videos. I can't argue that at times we are going pretty quick and you are right, caution needs to be taken. Usually we try to send a machine ahead of the pack as a feeler vehicle.
Really enjoy the video's! We were at the H&M trails last year in a 570 Ranger and 500 Honda. Going back this year. Anyway thanks for the great job and keep them coming!
Love the videos and when you have a bunch of carnage and roll overs put them together and make a side by side fails video like busted knuckle guy does but love the videos and I want to come and ride with y’all sometime and I’m a subscriber for life
Hey Michael! Thanks man! Appreciate the support and I'm stoked you enjoy the videos. I'll put together another action and carnage compilation soon. Just need a littttttle bit more content to get a good one made up.
I LOVE your videos and really appreciate your hard work in editing - I know that is really time consuming. Would like to make a couple of suggestions tho. Please educate your viewers to use better winch safety techniques, namely, I see in your rides (1) too many people standing way too close to the winch line if you get a break and recoil, (2) No use of snatch blocks - which greatly increase the pulling capacity, (3) no use of a cable weight blanket - which will suppress the recoil in the event of a cable snap, (4) and always use a 'tree-saving' strap to protect the health of the tree and winch point. Keep up the great work!
Glad you enjoy the videos Cameron! Most of us are using synthetic line now so the need for a line weight isn't really there. A synthetic line also wont recoil and hurt you like the old wire cables could. I know we should be using tree savers and we are working on improving that but we aren't perfect. Most the trails you see us winching on are on private property and are trails we built so we aren't damaging any public lands or trails. A bunch of us carry snatch blocks but rarely find we need to use them. Generally the winches do fine without them I find and sometimes it's just easier not using them. Call it laziness if you like, lol. All of your points are valid and I appreciate the feedback. We are constantly working on improving our technique so I take all these suggestions to heart. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the future videos!!!
I've ridden HFM trails before and I must say that this the most careless and stupid way to ride down there. It's so easy to run into someone or get yourself hurt if not killed. All it takes is one time to clip a root or sharp rock and then your all crossed up or off kilter and headed down a mountain side getting mangled.
Yes Jerimy, sometimes pushing the limits is dangerous. It's calculated risk. If we were to have catastrophic mechanical failure in some of these areas it could possibly end bad. It is a risk we are aware of and accept.
Some fun looking trails man! Hopefully next year. The ironic thing is... I literally just drove through WV to get to Pennsylvania to ride some new trails 😂
I own a 2018 Canam maverick xmr (not the x3) and I have 30” cryptic tires on it I was wondering if you thank they would be any good on this type of terrain?
Hey man, on our last trip to WV a couple months ago a member of our group took up his 2018 Maverick X3 XMR on the same tires and it did just fine. He was actually surprised as to how well they rode on the road and trail. If you do a bunch of road riding up there like we did then expect to get some wear on them but as long as your not too throttle happy on the road it should be fine. With all that being said the new X3 XMR does have more suspension than your machine so it may not be a perfect comparison but you should most likely be just fine. Just remember that you are running them and drive it accordingly to the conditions.
I guess that answers your questions Trevor. Thanks for chiming in@@Allinoffroad It must be sketchy in some areas there now with the slick conditions! At least there is no dust, lol. Glad you guys had a good trip.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd thanks guys i appreciate the info i live down in Texas and we have a lot of mud parks and thats really all ive been to, but i have been wanting to try out these type of trails.
Your welcome Trevor, you'll love this type of riding. Just be careful out there until you get used to it and how the machine handles on those trails. There is little room for error in many of the areas and you don't wanna damage your machine. I'm a big fan of pretty much all types of riding. I'm gonna try to get down your way in the future too, will definitely have to bring a nice set of mud tires if I wanna keep up with the boys down in Texas though.
Hey ike jedi, the Hatfield and McCoy trails are amazing, some of the best riding around. We all love riding in WV and can't wait to go back again next season. We did about 350 miles in 3 days on this trip. We ride all day when we go there and we ride hard. The machines take some serious abuse over the 3 day period, lol.
If you didn't notice when there a large group the first in the pack let's you know how many people are coming, then each person uses a hand signal counting down. 5.4.3.2.1 it's a very safe way to watch for other riders.
Thanks Shawn. We weren't aware of this at first but as we spent more time in WV on the trails we quickly learned this. I agree, it is a good method. Sometimes we have more than 5 riders in the group and that makes it a little more complicated.
lol, they are all beeped out Quads Smile. It's just a bunch of guys having fun and on top of that we are all excited and full of adrenaline. The cuss words just come out. I'd argue that we don't swear much at all in comparison to a lot of the other content on TH-cam. I do my best to keep the videos pretty clean in regards to not swearing which is why I take the extra time to censor all the cuss words. I aim to keep the videos family friendly, generally around a PG13 rating at worst. BTW, either you're really upset with our potty mouths and you're intentionally yelling at me or you didn't notice, your Caps lock is on, lol. All joking set aside, I do appreciate the feedback and will continue to do my best to censor all the swearing in future videos but at time's it's tough to avoid. None of it is aggressively directed at anyone or anything in particular, quite honestly, it's just a bunch of empty words. My apologies if it offended you.

Ya, it's insane how much these trails can change. I've seen it before. Water is so powerful, erosion is a big problem on trails like these.

Man no way I'd rip down the trails like that with 2-way traffic.
Those trails are top of our list to try.
They should be, they are stunning and loads of fun. The video does not do the terrain justice. Do whatever you can to get out there.
THUMBS UP if you haven't yet been to West Virginia on the Hatfield McCoy Trails but are planning a trip in the future.
Love it when you Haul the Mail through the trails.
The viewers paid extra for the one day delivery, can't be late! lol

Cool vid. U might of said but I missed it. What trail system is this ?
I didn't say it cause I couldn't remember for sure where it was. I think it's the Devil Anse trail system though.
So sick. A bunch of my family lives in WV. It would be sick to meet up and ride one of these times.
