Hey Dirty General, just got back from Brimstone. Was there in December right before Christmas, unfortunately I broke the RZR in the middle of the first day so our ride got cut short. I plan on heading back to TN this spring/summer to ride Brimstone again.
Best time is probably spring and fall. Summer can be a little hotter and more dusty but any time of year is good. Not familiar with the Bandit springs, so I'm not sure.
Like the videos!! Like riding in the machine with you guys. Only thing can you move the (AdrenalineJunkieProd) logo around or at least turn off for say 3 mins then on 3 mins? I'm worried about screen burning on my old DLP tv, lol.
I was running stock Maxxis Bighorns on this trip. They worked great but I had about 5 or 6 punctures. They are a very puncture prone tire. All pinch flats on the sidewalls. I was running between 10-12PSI. I usually run 10 in the fronts and 12 in the rears using those tires in conditions like this. Sometimes if I'm riding harder and faster I do 12 in the front and 14 in the rear. Stoked you enjoyed the video Kurt!

Does it have a lot of ads? I don't select that. TH-cam automatically inserts them. When I watch it I don't see many ads but that's probably because TH-cam knows its me watching. Glad you enjoyed the video. Sorry if there is a lot of ads, but you need to understand it's the only way creators like me can help supplement the expenses of making these videos. The amount of time it takes to make these is pretty crazy. Also, I've spent thousands of dollars on camera gear, microphones, the computers to edit this and the software to edit with. Just the editing software I use costs about $80+ a month. The sad part is, I hardly get any revenue from the ad's, even on some of my most popular videos. If I cared about making money here on TH-cam I would of quite a long, long time ago. Hope you can understand where I am coming from as a creator. This video alone took about 12-15 hours to edit not including filming it or the time it takes to upload it and process it.
I'd like be to know when y'all head to Tennessee my brother lives in southern Tennessee around Savannah but right off Pickwick Lake and knows a few trails that are there that you ride along the lake and can hit 3 states in one day, he lives about 2-1/2 hrs south of Winrock I believe.

Hey Patrick, just rolled 5000km (3100mi) on my 2017 Polaris RZR Turbo last week. I've been super happy with it. I haven't had any serious issues at all and you see how I use it. The only things I've done is routine maintenance, but you'll have to do that on any machine. I've upgraded a bunch of parts but drove the machine almost stock for the first season. You'll need to change belts on a semi regular basis and keep an eye on your stock prop shaft and hanger bearing setup. Also, the stock axles are a little under built (but Polaris engineers them like this to act as shear pins). Here is a link to my 1 year review of the machine, it doesn't cover everything but should cover a lot of major points. I highly recommend the RZR Turbo. They had some issues in 2017 but have done a good job fixing all those problems. The Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo is a great machine too though, all bias set aside, the two machines are about as evenly matched as two machines could be. I really like them both. Personally I still prefer the Polaris RZR, but that has a lot to do with, as I stated, personal preference. If you have more specific questions feel free to ask. Hey Aaron, we usually go to WV once or twice a season. Yes, we are open to having people join us. I rode with a few viewers out there this season and will be posting that content in the next couple of months. Come on out and join us next season!
Thanks for all the videos. My crew normally runs mud tires down here in Texas. Would they be ok on those trails or should we have a trail style tire like the Maxxis Bighorn?
Hey Jeff, truth is you could use them but if you bring a more hardpack/trail oriented tire your handling and ride quality will be better. Also, all the hard pack and the road riding will chew through your mud tires. I suggest running a different tire but if you can't justify that I'm sure you could use a mud tire if you keep that in mind while you ride. Just remember, a mud tire is a mud tire and is not designed specifically for this style of riding.
Hey Jeff, personally I believe you should always wear a helmet, even if it's just a half shell. But yes, they are required on the Hatfield McCoy trail system. You can get a ticket and a fine if you don't wear one and get stopped. Technically alcohol is not permitted either. But, like anything, it is up to the discretion of the rider to decide what amount of risk is acceptable to them. Everyone makes their own choices. I choose to wear a helmet, others choose not to. At the end of the day I respect peoples decisions so I don't really preach. However, if asked my opinion, I do recommend wearing a helmet.
Where do you guys stay? A few friends and I are looking to go there for a week. We are from Toronto ontario. What do we need to know or do to cross borders with our machines etc.
I’m coming down to TN from MN in November. I have a 2019 RZR 1000 basically stock. Wondering what I should have for spare parts or what I should do to prepare? I do have 30” Carnivores o 14” rims with Beadlocks and some dress up up but......also drive i low pick up truck with enclosed 16’ trailer. I don’t want to F up my truck to get to where I’m going but..... where am I going??? In TN , my wife has family there, if I’m in TN, I’m going to play..... who can show me how to play in TN . And I me play......
I'm not trying to bust any egos or bubbles, but these trails are trail riding with safety in mind. Those who want to blast the trails wide open should consider racing as the fun factor. I'm not a prick, but I have had a family member hurt from someone blasting down a trail. Because of the racing jerk, we spent the night at the hospital. Just saying.
Hey John, you're points resonate with me and are all valid. I believe that in this video we were riding quite tame and being very safe. I do admit we do go faster at times but in general none of us want to harm anyone else and we do our best to be safe out there. Often we ride with a feeler vehicle ahead of the main group and a sweeper in the back.
That guy with the artic cat needs a new roll cage of rides alote because those roll cages aren't safe that is why we rebuilt Ares bc I rolled mine I'm only 12 but still we rebuilt it and it is made to were the extra belt his were the belt is know but beside it bc it opens up
Hey Nathan, that's really good information. Thanks for sharing, wasn't aware those cages had issues from the factory. I'm going to have to let him know!
Hey, no he does not. He usually just rides shotgun with me. However, due to some differing opinions in which direction the channel should go he is no longer my co-pilot, nor my camera guy. He wanted to turn the channel into a business and to focus on generating profits, however, that has never been my goal. To me this is a passion project and I want to focus on building a community of riders. If along the way that generates some income that is cool, however it is not my main focus. Any income generated through the channel goes directly back into it. I still fund over 80% of channel expenses out of my personal funds. He obviously didn't understand the deeper meaning of being an off-roader or the importance of the community aspect, so as a result we went our separate ways this past August. I want this channel to keep growing organically as it has over the last few seasons, I love how engaged the viewers are and the fact that now I am starting to ride with a bunch of the viewers. That's not to make it sound that I'm hating on him, however, sometimes no matter how much you want something to work people don't always see eye to eye.
Heck yeah, that’s definitely understandable. When something like this becomes a job, you definitely lose the passion. Money does funny things to people, hate you lost a friendship over it. If greed is more powerful than your passion, you didn’t need that kind of negativity in your life anyways. Well, looks like you need a few extra go pro mounts, and a few tripods.
@@preblewtf Glad you understand where I'm coming from man. Money does do weird things to people. Some are affected by it much more than others. I'd do this if it cost me money (which it does, lol) or whether it made me money. I just enjoy every part of it. I'm lucky that my girlfriend is into this stuff as much as I am and she tends to join me on most of the bigger trips I take now. She makes a much better and prettier co-pilot, lol ;) ;)

I haven't ridden those trail systems yet, they are on the bucket list! Can't wait to go back. So far the bearwallow trail system is my favorite. There are some gnarly technical trails on that trail system. Next time I go I'd love to spend a few days riding bearwallow. However, I love all the trail systems I''ve been on so far. I've been subscribed to your channel for quite a while. I'll check out some of the videos from WV.
I stayed at Ashland Resort a few years ago. Great place! 5 days of riding and never had to haul anywhere. Super cool people. I'm a Louisiana swamp rat so I loved the Pocahontas trail system. That said, I didn't find any trails I didn't like! Can't wait to go back.
Hey Jesse, the guys running Bighorns were finding the wheel spin in 2WD was really destroying the rear tires on these trails, also at higher speeds it's much easier to control the machine in 4WD with those front wheels pulling you out of corners. Also prevents teh rear end from kicking out in tight corners. You are correct, it is more wear on the machine. Ever since switching up tires I've run 2wd 80+% of the time on these trails. The guys running Bighorn 2.0's were having the most issues here, they were tearing up their rear tires and getting punctures. This was our first trip to WV and we were learning. We have been back 2 more times since and have adapted a lot of our strategies since.

I used to ride 4 day ATV trips yearly 15-20 years ago renting early Polaris Sportmans. My bones are older now.
I don’t own an atv and never drove a sxs but I live vicariously through team AJP. THANKS Guys! You bring back fond memories.
Just recently road the Outlaw Trails. Stayed at the Wagon Wheel.
Hey Brett, we got to ride some cool outlaw trails on our last trip down this past August. There is so much awesome riding in WV it will take ages to run out of good trails to enjoy. There are some insane climbs on some of the outlaw trials.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd we will be down again in June of 2019 to do some more riding. Then we will head to Kentucky in July.
@@TheBrett333 Hey Brett, follow us on Facebook and Instagram, that's where I post all the ride dates and discuss the details related to upcoming rides. Maybe we can try to hit the trails together in the future.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd I will give you a follow on Facebook
@@TheBrett333 Awesome, sounds good Brett!
Great video. I’m going there next month
Thanks Trail Shark. I love riding out in WV! Such great scenery and great people.
We are I'm Tennessee and use ride at hawk pride alabama and West point Tennessee yall ought too try those places out its a lot of similar trails of what you ride now and a lot of hill climbs I'd love too see you make a video there at hawk pride thanks timmy
Do we girls ride?!? Lol...Every chance I get!!! Great video, about 2 hours from me, wasn't sure which trail to hit this weekend for Labor Day, Rockhouse and Devil Anse it is! :)
Hey Sherry! Stoked to hear you love to ride. You are lucky you live so close to the Hatfield and McCoy trails! I'm jealous.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd It's a huge destressor for me, so I try to go every weekend. I have a 10k acre hunting lease that I ride on, u could be out there all day and never cross the same trail twice, but the H&M is the next best thing..lol I am sure u guys see some pretty amazing places!!
If you guys are ever back to WV I highly advise you to riders paradice and the wagon wheel campgrounds, the outlaw trails not affiliated with Hatfield McCoy is where you will find a lot of technical creek/mud/rock trails with beautiful sights and awsome people. I would love to tag along and show you around aswell, I'm from pineville wv where the pinicle system is
Hey BurninRubber93, would love to take you up on that offer in the future. We plan on heading back at least once next season. We did some outlaw trails the last time we went in August and they were cool, would love to try more. If you follow my Instagram and Facebook pages you'll be able to see posts in regards to when we plan upcoming trips. I usually post all the dates and info there. Glad you enjoyed the video Bob. It is an amazing place to ride, one of our favorite destinations.
You guys should try to make it to Tennessee one day
Hey bob. I’ll be in TN in December. We are riding durhamtown offroad park in GA on dec 15th and prob the 16th. We will prob be in TN on December 19th and 20th riding brimstone/windrock. Actually some buddies are wanting to ride Windrock again Dec 19th i think!! I will let u know, that would be awsome to hit the trails with you!! I was there 2 weeks ago and ripped the heim out of my radius rod!!
@@rockytopriders8705 OUCH! I think there may be a few other guys interested in riding too. Not sure what park they all want to go to yet. Either Brimstone, Royal Blue or Windrock.
You guys ever check out Brimstone in Huntsville TN? We go there once a year...love it! Keep the great vids coming.
Hey Dirty General, just got back from Brimstone. Was there in December right before Christmas, unfortunately I broke the RZR in the middle of the first day so our ride got cut short. I plan on heading back to TN this spring/summer to ride Brimstone again.
What time of the year do you feel is the best time to go there, and the second question is about springs, what is thought on Bandits, awesome video!!!
Best time is probably spring and fall. Summer can be a little hotter and more dusty but any time of year is good. Not familiar with the Bandit springs, so I'm not sure.
My dad actually just put in a turbo inhaler in the can am x3 mavricke
Awsome video.wish it was longer
Thanks RJ!! Many more videos from WV to come. They will only get better and better, I promise ;)
Like the videos!! Like riding in the machine with you guys. Only thing can you move the (AdrenalineJunkieProd) logo around or at least turn off for say 3 mins then on 3 mins? I'm worried about screen burning on my old DLP tv, lol.
lol, that's too funny Mike. Your gonna get an AdrenalineJunkieProd overdose! My videos are going to infect your TV.
I’ve been turned around in that section of Rock House many times. It can be confusing there
Ya, it's like amaze in certain sections. Glad we aren't the only ones getting confused, lol.
Hey dude I like this better then when u are back your own place because you not thrashing your mashes so up
Did you use Bighorns and if so, how did they perform....oh, and what tire pressure.... GREAT VIDEO!!!!!! :-)
Love the videos man good stuff. Maybe one day I'll be able to afford to do this I'd love to go ride those trails in WV.
Hey Nick, stoked you enjoy the videos. I sacrifice a lot of other luxuries to be able to own a RZR. It's too bad we can't just have it all, lol. The trails in WV are breathtaking, the scenery is stunning.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd yeah I can imagine, thank you for the sacrifices u make to be able to make these videos. Watching them helps to get me through some tough times y'all do really well with the editing and making it fun to watch. I took my Jeep to Uwharrie national Park in North Carolina when I lived there and they had some pretty awesome OHV trails there, lots of rocks to climb and good camping places. Y'all should check it out if you haven't already.
@@nicksluder1854 glad the videos help bring you some enjoyment. No need to thank me for my sacrifices, they are nothing in comparison to the sacrifices others make each day to help us have the ability to enjoy hobbies like this. Just leaving comments like yours and watching the videos in your free time is enough to make me happy. I feel grateful that so many people enjoy the videos I make. I love creating this content and connecting with new like minded people. It's awesome to hear you enjoy the videos and that they can help cheer you up a little when your feeling down in the dumps. I know going out for a ride or watching a good riding video helps cheer me up too. Uwharrie is on my list of places to check out actually. I have family just outside Charlotte NC, so maybe I'll make it out to Uwharrie one of these days.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd heck yeah, I met some really good people out there riding when I went. That was part of what got me into it, great people having a great time and working together, the awesome scenery and grilling out and camping. Hope y'all have a good time when you do make it down there, I'd love to see a video of it. Thanks again and stay safe out there 🤙
I haven’t been to Hatfield yet and I see you covered allot of ground there in the hayfield series I like more of a challenge style of riding if you had to choose a trail system that has some good climbs and some stuff to play on which system would be the best one/ones to check out , so far I’ve seen rock garden is the best fit , any input would be nice
Love the video just wish it had more ads!
I use to live out there in w,va and I miss it so .
I bet you would miss it. I love WV and TN. My favorite states.
Hey Stacy, I think we will be in TN the 18th, 19th, and 20th of December.
AdrenalineJunkieProd If it's anything like normal be prepared like y'all would to ride up there during the winter. My brother called today 11-15-18 and said it was snowing some then and has already been down in the 20s several times
Love the vid man beautiful trail system
Thanks man! Sorry I missed your call earlier, I work all weekend.
It’s cool bro touch base with me when you can
You should have a direct link to your shopify stuff on you channel main page. If I go to shopify.com I cant find anything.

Ima female! We go out to West Virginia every spring break and it’s so much fun
Hell yeah! Another Shelby who rides!
Have you had any major problems out of the Polaris xp turbo. Looking at getting my first turbo but a lot of guys say get the Maverick x3 turbo.
How often do you all ride on that trail and do you all invite people to ride with you?
Hey Aaron, we usually go to WV once or twice a season. Yes, we are open to having people join us. I rode with a few viewers out there this season and will be posting that content in the next couple of months. Come on out and join us next season!
Love the vids keep making them
Thanks Nathan, glad you enjoy the videos. I don't plan on stopping anytime soon, many more videos to come!
Also I know you guys wear helmets and I would to for some of yalls technical riding, but are they required on Hatfield McCoy?
If you get in a UTV to ride real trails without a helmet, you're just plain stupid.
Julian been watching your stuff for awhile I'd like to get your honest opinion on the new wildcatxx have you been able to check it out?
Where do you guys stay? A few friends and I are looking to go there for a week. We are from Toronto ontario. What do we need to know or do to cross borders with our machines etc.

Thanks Lorin!
Racing is for controled track conditions...yes i know as I am an old racer from the past.
Would you recommend a full windshield? That looks like it may get too dirty too quick
Your co-pilot, does he have a sxs or a machine of some sort? I’ve watched tons of your videos, and i don’t ever think I’ve seen him rip once.
Your videos are bad ass
I was at Hatfield-McCoy the week after you guys so I just missed you! I stayed at Ashland Resort and spent three days riding Indian Ridge, Pinnacle Creek, and Pocahontas trails. Had an absolute blast (despite a bit of machine problems...lol. Was totally my fault and not the Pioneer)and will definitely be making a return trip. Have several vids of my trip there if you guys want to check them out! th-cam.com/video/-71c_LtY5sw/w-d-xo.html
Hey man. Maybe we can plan a trip when we are all down there in the future. I've heard good things about Ashland resort, a few of the guys in our riding group have stayed there in the past.
Don't you mean You are aboot there?
Any reason y'all always run in 4wd? Seems like it's unnecessary wear on the machine to me. I only use it as needed?
Live and ride at the Buffalo Mt trail head.
Why don’t your group all fly a Canadian flag....
