The Jin ending is apparantly a reference to the fact that Jun is canonically a terrible cook, so Jin just eats a giant bowl of peas so she doesn't have to actually cook anything.
FYI : Kazuya's hobby is collecting sneakers for real, that was written on Tekken 1 booklet~ (Heihachi is fond of geta) And for Jin's ending, I wonder if it is related to an old tweet Harada wrote years ago - He made a list of cooking skills for female characters, and it appeared that Jun is one, if not the, worst cooker of the roster. Hence the bowl of peas. Knowing that, Jin trying to eat the 'lunch' his mom did for him warms my cold dead heart
Lars ending is a reference to the Starship Troopers movies. Yoshimitsu is from a long-line of Manji ninja Clan leaders who have wield the cursed blade for centuries since the Soul Caliber franchise (loose continuity with tekken) and have lead the clan as Robin hood/Goemon style heroic bandits the stand for the poor and oppressed. Previous leaders in the past would ritually sacrifice themselves secretly via seppuku, with their life being finished off by their worthy successors to help suppress the sword's hunger and to make Yoshimitsu seem immortal.
Sad fact about Law, in Tekken 5, his son, Forest, got into a serious accident. Law's motivation for entering the tournament was to earn money to pay for the hospital bill. It was kinda dark. But they've since turned him into even more of a clown than Paul. Feels bad man!
Jin and Hwoarang have been rivals since their high school days. It's a friendly rivalry, really. And as for why Claudio is with Xiaoyu: at the end of Tekken 7, the two met and joined up to find the missing Jin.
The wooden figure in Dragunov's ending that used the head as the turret is Mokuljin. Last appeared in tag 2, in every round of the fight he mimicks a random character's moveset.
You’re actually a hero! I added chapters on Final Cut Pro and was gonna go through one by one to add them but you beat me to it 😂 I’ll pin these in the description. Thank you!
First half of Jun's ending: "This is so wholesome" Second half of Jun's ending: *intense emotional pain* And Kazuya's ending is probably my favourite, and it's canon since Tekken 1 that he collects sneakers.
the reason in Leo's intro they say "mother Emma" and "father Niklas Kliesen" instead of "their/his/hers mother Emma" and "their/his/hers father Niklas Kliesen" is because Leo's gender is left intentionally ambiguous. when Harada is asked about Leo's Gender he usually answer "Leo is Leo"
Most of these individual character endings are just like “What ifs”...tho some of the details are canon, like how Kazuya is actually a Sneaker head, Jun being a terrible cook, etc... Also some of the relationship between chars are also based on canon, like Bryan and Yoshimitsu. Basically Bryan betrayed Dr. Bosconovich and Yoshi after they saved his life by destroying the Doctor’s lab and killing almost all of Yoshi’s desciples. Or Alisa developing genuine feelings for Lars even tho initially, it wasnt part of her AI programing...
Jin and Hwoarang had a draw in a fight before Tekken 3, Hwoarang beat Jin in T5 but then Jin went Devil and won. Hwoarang beat Devil Jin in T7. They're just good friends and rivals, no bitterness.
Bryan is a cyborg (the replicant thing is a nod to Roy Batty in Blade Runner) who used to be a corrupt cop partner of Lei's (Jackie Chan, basically), and long story short, he was dying in Tekken 4, so Yoshimitsu brought him to his friend, Dr. Bosconovitch, Alisa's dad, the same one who gave Yoshimitsu his cybernetic hand after the original Tekken (that's why he can do all that helicopter stuff with his sword), and installed the perpetual motion machine mentioned in this game. After he was saved, he attacked Bosconovitch, and murdered some of Yoshimitsu's clan members, hence their rivalry. Yoshimitsu most likely isn't possessed by Azazel; he's more likely to be possessed by some residual Soul Edge energy, you know, as someone pointed out that the Manji Clan and the Yoshimitsu leader thing, is part of Soul Calibur, as well. Kuma is the son of the original Kuma (Japanese for bear), from Tekken 1 and 2. He got old, met an unknown lady bear, had his son, then died sometime shortly before Tekken 3. Like his son, he was also Heihachi's pet, and a rival of Paul Phoenix. In one of the Tekken manuals, Paul wanted to become a martial artist, after he saw a martial arts expert defeat a bear with his bare hands while watching TV as a little kid. Kuma is also supposedly significantly stronger than his father, having defeated Paul twice, and he even survived being thrown out of a helicopter, after a brutal arse-kicking from Jin not too long before Tekken 6.
@ChocolateKieran About Yoshimitsu, well he belongs to a long line of Yoshimitsu's, but the blade itself is also called Yoshimitsu... It's a cursed blade which is seeks to devour souls and bring chaos to the world... and Yoshimitsu is also in another Bandai Namco game called Soul Calibur, which takes place in the Medieval Ages... which time exactly I don't know... but every New Yoshimitsu inherits the blade "Yoshimitsu" or to be more specific, the one that earns or inherits the blade Yoshimitsu, becomes Yoshimitsu... you could say it's a title that comes along with the katana...
Kazuya being a Sneakerhead was canonized even before Tekken got a sequel game, in Tekken 1 with the instruction manual, Kazuya had listed Shoe Collecting as a hobby. That instruction manual is pretty wild, because it also says Nina Williams likes Tom from Tom and Jerry
55:01 i think Leroy is a close friend to Xiaoyu's grandpa Wang (for those who are new to tekken. Wang is a Classic tekken character that is Xiaoyu's Grandpa and teacher😁👍🏾).
Yoshimitsu have 2 blade, the one that share his name is cursed blade that absorb powers and corrupting Yoshimitsu, while the other purpose is to suppress the former sword. He only start to use the 2nd sword on Tekken 6
One thing worth to mention - nor did Claudio and Zafina actually die in story mode. There is a photo compilation during titles, and one photo showing them both alive. I guess they were just hit really hard. Same goes for Jun, who somehow appeared to be alive since Tekken 3
I guess they don't want to kill off the only Italian and Egyptian characters, but the fact they lived kinda undermines the stakes of the main story IMHO. @@ChocolateKieran FYI, the whole orphanage issue started way back with the 1st King for the first 2 Tekken games. The King you see in Tekken 3 onwards is the successor to the original King, where he takes up the mantle of his predecessor. This whole backstory of King is a real-life reference to Fray Tormenta, the real-life masked Luchador who runs an orphanage and did have one of the children from his orphanage inspired to take up the mantle of Fray Tormenta, Junior as a real-life Luchador.
Not a specialist on lore but, Yoshimitsu has a loose connection to Soul Calibur's (16th Century IIRC) Yoshimitsu. To keep it short, Yoshimitsu is not a name, its akin to a title to whoever carries the sword of same name, in the Majin Clan (A Clan of Ninja-Like Robin Hoods that steal from the poor and gift to the poor). If I remind correctly, in Soul Calibur 1 (Soul Edge) the first yoshimitsu is betrayed and seeks revenge, going after the cursed blade 'Soul Edge' but after seeing what it does to people is such a minimal amount of time, he decides to destroy the blade instead, which leads to a single fragment of Soul Edge being absorbed by his Katana. Considering that the 'ritual' to keep on with the Yoshimitsu (because they're not Imortal, and I think every Yoshi in every SC and Tekken are different ones, with only one being repeated) involves killing the last Yoshi and taking the mantle, it probably is because the influence of that single fragment is messing with them really bad at this point in life, so a new bearer to the sword is needed to keep up, carry the name, and repeat the cycle for the sake of the Majin Clan. What you witnessed at the end is the sword waking up and taking over. The resonance to Azazel might be related to the fact that the Soul Edge was part of a demonic entity known as Inferno - and since Kazuya used Azazel to get stronger, its very likely that his sword could do the same. The fact this Yoshi added Soul Calibur moves to the mix makes me wonder if this is a teaser or something similar, what matter is that this Yoshi doesn't seem to be in control anymore. Well, these endings are 'What if's, but this Yoshi doesn’t to be in control anymore.
Heihachi IS dead, but that is not publically known because him and Kas were fighting in a volcano until his body ticked wrong and he fell dead on the ground only for Kasuya to pick him up and toss him in the lava

This aged like milk💀
@@LeHarmacist Guess the Mishima blood is very strong😅😅

The hwoarang/jin rivalry is even funnier than you thought. It didnt even start cause jin beat him, jins NEVER beat him without devil form in fact, hwo is this obsessed with jin cause they TIED in their first fight. Homie didnt even lose and hes this obsessed lmaoo
Dragonov builds gunpla!?!?!
Fkn, I never really liked him but now I do...!
the only actual good ending is bryan, he's the only one who stopped the war, by uniting the UN, mishima zaibatsu, violet corps and yggdrasil under the same wing.
NANOMACHINES, SON.
So you've already figured it out but these character endings aren't Canon. This has been a criticism against Tekken for a while. As you've seen, some of them are very interesting and deserve to be included in the main story.
Everyone in TEKKEN is a polyglot
kazuya = vegeta
jun = bulma
jin = trunks
y'know what, after playing Tekken 8, I absolutely see this comparison 😂
@@ChocolateKieran lol ikr, it's the golden picture frame on the desk that got me. it's low key simping.. it reminds me of vegeta
Nooo you skipped the best wrestler in the world!!! Whyyyyy 😭😭😭
accidentally forgot it during editing somehow but you can watch it on twitch in the link in the description
Of course the Arcade ending is not canon to the main story.
You missed king
Are you serious?! I have it recorded too so I must have just missed it in editing somehow, NOOOOOO
Lili and Asuka are so lesbian omg
I see it LOL, bless them both
Watch tekken anime bro
ending every caracter not canon
That makes sense, or they'd all contradict each other 😂
Admite que estos ending son superiores a los patéticos endings de SF6 que solo cuentan de imagenes y texto 😂😂😂😂😂
No King reaction 👎👎👎
check the description, you can watch it on Twitch. I just somehow missed the clip while editing it
Your reference means nothing.
Don’t know if anyone’s mentioned it but Raven is played by DC Douglas who voiced Kira Yoshikage in the English Dub.
