Why is my Swordfish Ikon crank handle pencil sharpener not working

Sometimes my Swordfish Ikon pencil sharpener won’t work. Usually the reason its not working is because there is a build up of shavings or a broken tip from a charcoal or pastel pencil is blocking the mechanism. Here I quickly show you how to take your sharpener apart, give it a quick clean and get it back to doing its job for you.

Thank you sooooo much!! I was about to toss this thing in the trash and buy a new one. I thought I had to have a special screwdriver to get this thing off and I was super frustrated. I had tried to clean it out with some tweezers and it looked clean. Nope took it apart and there was a tiny orange piece causing me grief. Works like a champ now!!

Thank you so much for that video! I just got one of those and it would not work at all. Thought I was either too stupid to use it or got a broken one. Thanks to this video I could take it apart and found a super long blue tip already jammed in there. 🙄 So much for "new".
