I love how they have pictures on the set of Debra Jo Rupp with Tom Posten and Betty White, who played Kitty's parents. Even though both actors have passed away now, it's a touching tribute to two legandary performers. ♥️😍

It’s good and crazy to see how “Leia” has the mannerisms like “Eric”
Leia and Jay really look a lot like their onscreen parents, with Leia resembling Eric, and Jay looking the spitting image of Kelso. The casting directors certainly struck gold!
Not with the acting though. It’s giving low budget Disney channel show

@@Muffinga I'm willing to give them some time, I think the oldest of the kids is about 18 and the youngest 13, so they should get better as they get comfortable together.

I almost cried when kitty accepted Ozzie. As a massive fan of the original show (it was my first non-Disney/nickelodeon adult show). I love these characters so much. to see kitty accept Ozzie is like being accepted by a parent.
It was an amazingly beautiful scene I teared up immediately! I'm sure others have noticed but I feel Kitty already knew he was gay. Her comments during her interrogation suggested as such.
This show is really a great testament to the original actors who were kind enough and humble enough to go back to the show and the fans who made them famous. They also demonstrate why they are true pros at the top of their game. Even after this many years, they "became" their characters from the old show and these are the best part of the show.
I was really surprised that Michael and Jackie actually got back together. Because I've honestly thought that those two would've been better off with other people. But I can't argue with how likeable their son Jay is. I hope "That 90's Show" stays on the air for years to come.
Jackie is back with Kelso because of how poorly received her being with Fez was. I would have preferred Jackie end up with Hyde, but we know that's not happening.
@@Xone9----TBH I would've liked it if she ended up wit Hyde too. Those two balanced each other out beautifully. And I think Michael should've been with Brook. Now they would've balanced each other out nicely. Now those were the longtime couples I wanted to see.

While I agree with you, as people get older and go separate ways, they lose touch. I don't really know any of my dad's friends he grew up with in the 70's except for one, I don't even know if any of them have kids lol.
What I do think is funny is towards the end of That 70's Show, Kelso moved to Chicago to be closer to Betsy, and Jackie moved there for work but then moved back to Point Place and got with Fez, it's revealed in That 90's Show that Fez caught Jackie talking to Kelso, so they got back together and moved back to Point Place, while Eric and Donna now live in Chicago.
Erick and Donna moved away.. .. isn't that obvious
@@JacobDean88 Duh, but that doesn't automatically mean they'd lose touch. My parents have friends who moved away and I know their kids. We aren't close, but I know them. Same for my grandparents' friends. Mind you, my parents were born in the 60s, and my grandparents in the 30s.

It really sucks that Danny Masterson turned out to be so problematic, it would've been great to see Hyde again. I imagine he would've been like the cool uncle buying beer and weed for the kids.
Maybe they'll have another actor to play Hyde, but I'm not so sure if they will or not. Just saying

I'm excited for season 2. I thought this reboot has definitely been one of the better ones out there. I hope season 2 gives a little more to the OG characters stories. Like Kelso's daughter Betsy and her mom Brooke. And how they'd address Laurie or Midge. I just think it'd be interesting to see if they'd at least get mentioned. Not expecting to hear anything about Hyde for obvious reasons. Of course, we all wanna see what happens with this little love triangle they setup at the end too. That shocked me. Pretty solid show.
I think they could definitely mention Hyde, i mean the actor isnt the character. Could be a simple thing as "last time i heard about Hyde he was going..." with some excuse why he wouldn't show up
Did I love and laugh my butt out with this show?? Nope

When they find the old stash it's in the Candy Land box. That's where Eric always kept stashes of stuff he didn't want anyone to find. (and the Scooby Doo thermos) probably my favorite Easter egg

Wow first time I have ever heard how to properly pronounce Rob’s last name. He was good friends with my cousin (growing up together) and they always had the running gag to pronounce it as it was spelled Des (like Fez with a D) and Hotel. Rob gave all in my family a great conversation starter by making our family name a part of the show in an episode during season 7. Glad to see there is an Easter egg in the show paying homage to Rob.

That couch was not in the living room. Its meant to look like it, but it is a 2 cushion love seat. The one in the original living room was a full size, 3 cushion couch.

that kelso was spot on, he was the only actor that raised to the level of the original cast.
I enjoyed the show, but the original was an instant classic.

I disagree, because people see things different ways; so it shouldn’t just be an agenda to make people believe things have to be a certain way! so in the 70s show when Eric was not homosexual and clearly wanted to make someone understand that, because it would’ve been an invasion of his own sexuality that scene was actually handled quite well.
I've only seen clips but it looks so sweet!

Season 2 of That 90s Show? I say add Culver's to the mix, along with Copps Food Center aka Pick N Save, Wisconsin Dells, Menards and Johnsonville! I will love you even more for it.

Parts of this show make no sense.. not once in 15 years did donna, eric and leia catch up with or talk to jackie and kelso? Also jackie and donna would have gotten pregnant pretty much at the same time.
You think red and kitty would also know that jay is jackie and kelso's son seeing as they all still live in point place and would run into each other
Or at least that fez or eric would mention it
So at the end of the 70's show everyone just went their own ways and never spoke to each other again

At first, when I saw the 1st trailer I thought the other teen was Kelso's son since they [also] look alike. Now I'm convinced that I will watch the Netflix show [sequel?]
I want a few things from this show that really relate to the 90s. They did the Zima bit with Donna, okay check. I want the kids to talk about or be at a Mudhoney, Screaming trees, Dinosaur Jr, Cracker or at least Soundgarden concert. Or make fun of how there were bands who sung songs about Peaches and the girls will think The Goo Goo Dolls will always be cool! Jokes about blowing on CD's when they skip. Maybe a Bruce and Demi staying together forever joke because of Ashton being on the show. More Blockbuster Video jokes. How the guys think Courtney Love is being propped up by Cobain in her career but the girls love her. Maybe addressing Cobain's death if the show goes on long enough. One of them gets into hip hop and those bright colored Benneton fashions and it's not the black girl. Oh and Red has to go off on the lousy Clintons!

By 95 was more likely to be Pumpkins, Alanis Morissette, or Green Day, especially since it would be Leia purchasing the posters for the basement at 15 years old after being sheltered by her parents to that point

I wasn’t that into this show but I hope it grows on me and gets better as the series progresses, it’s to early to really say it sucks but from what I’ve seen I feel like they could’ve done a lot better
I really enjoyed the remake or reboot whatever you wanna call it. I would love to see more seasons to come but I worry about the cancel culture. Some of the cast members are going to be under 18 and that may be a problem. Mila Kunis got away with it back in the day but times have changed. I hope that it isn't the case because of nowadays. Next season you gotta bring back Christina Moore as the role of Laurie. I imagine a lot of funny storylines for her with her niece, cause lets be real she's Eric Jr. and Laurie would be good for her. It be nice to see the OG crew show up more Kelso and Jackie live in town dont they care about where their kid (even though their parents didnt care at their age) I just miss seeing them or maybe they're keeping it for next season if theres a forman/kelso situation. Ozzie and Nicky are the let downs in my opinion. Nicky has no personality and Ozzie is just pessimistic all the time, not sure why the crew would want to be around that attitude all the time.
Jay is alright and so is Nate, but their personalities kind of overlap. Can’t really figure out who the dumb one is supposed to be. Hopefully the bromance evolves.
Leia is great as the new “Eric”, I just hope the writers don’t give her a revolving door of boyfriends. Hard to see leia and Jay as the new Eric and Donna. We’ll see I guess

If you remember in the first or second episode, they point out that Jay got his mother's brains and his dad's looks, and Red's worry was that the Kelsos are evolving.
Who is Jays mom? Brooke or Jackie? Michael said Jay had his moms brains and Jackie wasn’t smart, Brooke was. I hope it gets explained in season 2. Hopefully we see Betsy Kelso too

I got on board with everybody else even know I only liked Leia, Jay and Gwen, at first, the other two grew on me but Ozzie has an Annoying Erkel Voice and plays into the Gay Flamboyant Stereotype.
It's good to include a Gay Character but it's also weird they went Stereotypical Gay with the Character.
Real Gay is Subtle, Not in your Face Deal with it.
