last night I felt a hand on my back while I was half asleep and an evil presence, then I rebuked it in Jesus name, and it went away. I've seen exorcisms, a friend of mine his eyes rolled back and started screaming during prayer, and then started quoting scripture which he has never read before, namely Ephesians about warfare being against principalities and powers of evil, then a palpable atmosphere of intense fear surrounded us

All I have to say about this is it's a good thing reality in no way requires a majority rule by a democratic minded populous to support it because a human opinion is based on emotions which are manifestations of insecurity. The Word, which is God is love and love is not an emotion it is a power above all reality and to discover love is to discover ones self and be made whole.

Sadly in 2018 it is more than 1% who think they'll go to hell, now many venturing into the majority are proud that they are going to hell. Obviously they have absolutely no idea of the torment and pain that hell will be upon their soul for eternity.

  • @tommax26
    @tommax26 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yes, all this truly is a puzzle, and I have found in commentary research that the scholars have varying interpretations. Some emphasize that becoming a believer is a type of resurrection from spiritual death to eternal life. Others point to the similarity of 100's of reports from 4 year old children up to adults, seriously injured, who have had heavenly experiences of immediate blissful life, but who are returned to their body. Our soul, which is are true self, does not go to sleep at death.

  • @tommax26
    @tommax26 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

When you look at the context of John 5:25-28, Jesus is referring to those spiritually dead, hearing at that time, His voice. In the crowd there were both believers and unbelievers. Verse 25... the time is coming AND IS HERE NOW when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear it shall live. In other words, the spiritually dead can have eternal if they hear now with believing ears.

The motive for believing in and discussing hell isn't about fear-tactics, it's about conforming to an understanding of objective reality. Just because hell doesn't fit in with your preferences that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You are endorsing an irrational view where you give precedence to your preferences over truth

Even though God is behind creation, that doesn't mean that God is behind everything that happens within creation.
Since certain creations, such as ourselves, have been given free will and are capable of being creators in our own right; including creating suffering for ourselves and others.
This particular misunderstanding, that God is causing our suffering and perhaps punishing us, is one of the most dangerous misunderstanding promoted by religious teachers; for how can we become free from suffering if we don't understand what's causing it?
As long as we believe that lie, we will blame God or others, or our circumstances for our suffering and not see that we are the ones responsible for our suffering.
Our mistaken thinking, and the negative emotions and negative actions that flow from our thoughts causes our suffering.
Depending on what we choose to believe, and how we choose to respond to life; we create more Love in the world or the opposite.
When we choose to express the opposite of Love or cause harm, it is not God that is at fault. God gifted us with the freedom to choose and to create, and we eventually learn from our choices to be better creators; to create happiness instead of suffering, and it is suffering that teaches us this; suffering points us away from what is anti-life, anti-Love.
Our own personal suffering is the so-called "punishment" we receive for making choices that are not aligned with Love; that is the only "punishment", if we will, meted out by God.
We are designed to suffer whenever we miss the mark, which is the meaning of sin; the mark, the target or goal, is Love. We suffer whenever we fall out of alignment with Love.
Suffering and joy are part of the guidance system we've been given; the homing device, which when followed, will bring us back home to Love.
Suffering tells us that we are believing a lie or taking a wrong direction; while joy tells us the opposite.
If we don't want to suffer, then we must stop believing or doing what causes us and others suffering; and start believing and doing what brings peace, Love and joy.

It doesn't really matter what this denomination or that one states what they believe about Hell or Heaven, the scriptures are pretty clear about the end to those who follow Satan and his demons and pretty clear about those who accept Jesus as Savior and King of all Kings. Individual interpretations mean nothing next to clear cut scripture. Hell was not designed for mankind... but nothing unclean can enter into Heaven and into the presence of the Lord~this doesn't leave much wiggle room.

...the fire or hell as countless people interpret John 15 to suggest. Good fruit is nothing more than being downtrodden by the weight of love. Not human love that fails 100% of the time; God's Love which creates a longing in the heart for the joy ahead to be manifested that causes rivers of living water to flow...tears, just tears. King David wrote God collects them in bottles and Ps 126 beautifully describes the fruit of that love. John 11 say "Jesus wept" and then Lazarus rose from the dead.

extended wrong doctrines are to blame, but HELL means : grave, under our feet ; no another place to exist,if there are scriptures to razoning this view, we have to take care off; Ezequiel 18:23 quotes:"Do I take any delight at all in the death of someone wicked..., not in that he should turn back from his ways and actually keep living?; if God says that, is mentioning any place to torment the wicked ones? ; Jesus said that the resurrection is from the memorial tumbs ( John 5:29).

I have no doubt of heaven and hell. Heaven is being in the presence of God. Hell is being separated from God. Burning in hell is a way of describing something that we have no concept. Burning for ever isnt realistic. Even stars burn out, they say. I say, burning in hell is so terrible ,that to describe it that way, is as close as we can get to what it really is.

Nope. Mankind was already immortal...they would only die if they ate of the fruit that was forbidden. The original lie was that this wasn't so, that God was actually lying about that, and also that man would have more knowledge and know what God knew~the knowledge of good and evil. And, of course, we ate and lost our immortality at that moment...the only way it can be restored is through Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Great Redeemer.

If hell is the fate of all who have not confessed with their mouth and believed in their heart that Christ is the resurrection (now) verses intellectually accepted in their minds, if God whom is love is their Lord, shouldn't they then deny their own life's pleasures and devote themselves to begging lost souls to come to Christ? To him therefore that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. (James 4:17) That sounds like bearing pretty bad fruit for the vine, which is thrown into...

777..... I enjoy your thoughts on the topic but would like to interject slightly. As you if you are truly saved you should know the utter brutalness of hell and having the knowledge of heaven should want people there for sure. I have tried numerous times in my own ways to bring people to Christ but am unsure if they ever actually received. I dont feel as the stubble that shall burn in the furnace but rather I shall have lost rewards in my heavenly existence.

Free will brethren.... do noT sTop doing whaT youre doing. There comes a point in time where the Shepard lets his flock graze the field.. this us to eat.
Just as Jesus said " i am the bread of life, he that cometh to me shall never hunger and he thay believeth on me shall never thirst"
Those souls you lead to God MUST act odf their free will Father gave them.
The holy spirit dwelleth inside and makes old things new. It cometely changes the individual and makes them a new creation.
These people MUST seek HIM daily.
A problem we see is that some people are "luke warm" and neither hot nor cold for the Lord... this is a bad place to be trying to balance as the scales are being removed. Jesus said, " pick up your cross and walk daily" just as much as those people must make themselves living servants of the most high, you as the purveyor of the truth, MUST have faiTh and BelieVe that youre acting on the premise of leading one lost and wandering soul to the Lord Himself.
Dont stop doing what youre doing... these days are those days in which the Bible said would come to pass.
Take a good look around and youll see that the world IS the " house divided".
Stand fast in prayer...ALWAYS have on the armor of God and before ANYTHING ...remember to call upon & look to the name of Christ in ANY situation as the YOUniverse and everything in it is NOThing without God first!!
May Father bless you and your family ..NEVER stop living for and spreading the TRUTH in the Living word of GOD! I love you and i love everyone and the potential they have to come to and know the Lord! Let the world know that YOU work for GOD HIMSELF,let them know that Jesus Christ IS God in the Flesh. Let them know that they NEED to Turn and Run from their life of SIN & lawlessness for the Kingdom of Heaven draws nigh... let them know that YES!...Jesus IS the Gate and the Gate IS CLOSING!!

I am told that God is just. I haven’t lived a perfect life in the respect that I know I can and should make improvements, but I truly believe that if asked, most would declare that I am honest, generous, kind and humble. I wouldn’t argue with the notion that I had not earned the right to be in Gods presence when i die, but I cannot believe that my actions, or lack of, deserve eternal damnation. Where does that leave me at the point of death? This is why I often consider reincarnation to be a viable concept.
I would appreciate any guidance or advice.

Read the book of Romans. The Christian faith is based on the facts that what is required is a perfect record to stand in the presence of God who is Holy, or to be sinless. No one but Jesus lived a sinless life. He gave up his life as a sacrifice for me, I have to receive this sacrifice to be received by God. The ten commandments where not created to keep, they where created to expose us to the fact that we can't. We are In need of a savior and that is what jesus came to be for us.

Even the best of people are but filthy rags compared to God's glory. No person can work their way to God's Grace. But GOD is a God of love. You have to choose to be in his family. You do that by believing that he sent his Son, Jesus to suffer on a cross for by his stripes we are healed and by his blood our sins are covered. Jesus bought your freedom to go boldly before the throne of grace and eternal life. But you must accept his sacrifice, confess with your mouth and be baptized in water and spirit. You will be like a dry sponge soaking in his great riches as you read and the Holy Spirit leads and gives you understanding. I got saved in a 666 house, said the prayer and he came to me and I began to read his word and it was amazing the comfort I felt and the more I read the more I began to understand. It is more than my words can describe. So read his! If you do so with an open mind and heart he will reveal himself to you. GOD Bless You!

You don't know the intricacies and nuances of the situation so are hardly in the position to postulate an explanation, there's probably 20 different viable explanations to account for his behavior and your world-view (naturalism) will restrict you from the acquisition of real knowledge if there is more to existence than the physical, which naturalism assumes without warrant. I look for natural explanations first but don't rule out others

Mr Missler is the one who is confused about hell and the gospel message; he thinks the 43% are right and says the others have some confusion on the topic (at around 7:24) Jesus was sent by God as his representative to save all men / sinners from sin, not the penalty of sin for starters. However , God is Love and Love NEVER fails 1Corinthians 13:8 , therefore if Jesus does not save all men God is a liar and a failure; not only that but God's sovereignty is dethroned as such a failure would render him incapable of carrying out his will, "God wills all men to be saved" 1Timothy2:4 and further lies must be heaped upon the inspirer of scripture as Isaiah 46:10, Daniel 4:35, Ephesians 1:11, out of loads that could be cited, all declare God will accomplish all he wills. "Our Father who art in heaven , let thy will be done Amen.

    • @memowilliam9889

      I Timothy 4:10
“...God is the savior of all men, specifically those that believe.”
Certainly God loved the world and wants all to be saved.
The creation of man, his fall, and redemption accomplishes much. He did not create robots. We have the power to choose. However, without a “will” we would still be robots that always chose right; with a will we almost always choose wrong.
How does God create a person that isn’t a robot but has the power to choose and the also the will to choose rightly?
By providing them the Holy Spirit that indwells them. These creatures retain the power to choose, but now have God’s will.
Why didn’t he just do that with everyone?
Because it would revert back to the same problem. We would be robots that were only empowered to choose the right thing. The only time we legitimately get to exercise our will is to say, “not my will be done, but thine.” Just as Jesus did in the garden.
Unfortunately there will be many on earth that refuse to bow their will to God. When they die, they will be forced to bow the knee to Christ and call him Lord. However, it will be too late. “It is appointed unto man once to die, then judgement.”
God’s will is not always done. The throne of the heart of the rebellious is the only stronghold that God cannot penetrate; he cannot perform his will there unless that heart surrenders. And many won’t.
There are sufficient clear verses to conclude that a place of eternal torment awaits those that will not surrender. It was made for the devil and his angels - but there’s room still for those that will not surrender their will.

    • @nevbillett7554
      @nevbillett7554 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@memowilliam9889 You misquote 1Timothy 4:10 ; it is especially not specifically but either way all will believe in the coming ages .
You say many will refuse God, but He says He is able to subject all things to Himself and makes a solemn oath that all will bow to Him and swear allegiance Isaiah 45:23 and 1Corinthians 15:22-28 also declares that all will be subject to Him each in their own rank/order or squadron (check the Greek)
As you point out , when God conforms any to His will they will exercise the right choices in all circumstances just as God always does what is right Genesis 18:25 and thereby never sins which is to be wrong or miss the mark ; so would you say God is a robot . The fact is that mans will is not free until it is set free to always choose the best or right for himself and everyone and everything just as God is.
You say that God's will is not always done, but once again scripture testifies otherwise Isaiah 55:11, Isaiah 46:10 , Daniel 4:35 , Ephesians 1:11 to name but four.
As for your "sufficient clear " verses and eternal torment, a simple Greek word study would correct your view.
Two TH-cam channels The Total Victory of Christ or Tommy's Truth Talk both have simple short videos on the mistranslation of scripture pertaining to hell and eternal punishment
