My life changed so much through the people I met and the experiences I had through this expansion, and I will be forever grateful. If it wasn't for Stormblood this might have been my last but because of creators like you, Drak, Larry, and many more it has made the game much more interesting with everything, also the reason why on a whim I went to Vegas on day of fest to meet you all and have fun, so thank you for this and all you do Tate.

Stormblood was where my friendships solidified and maintained. The groups, their memories, will always be there in my heart, in this expansion, and I will always cherish them. Shadowbringers is where they fell apart, and sadly it was here that I felt the most alone in a game I wished I could have played with friends. I needed the breather, I needed to be set apart. Endwalker is where I accepted that loneliness, took it as my own personal journey, and forged my own path. I feel satisfied, more at home, more as one with the community, despite not being a part of any major group or faction. But Stormblood, idk it was a big journey I would never take back.

I have only really sat down and played FFXIV for a couple of days, Stormblood being the expansion that pulled me in, but unfortunately, with so much coming out, it was placed on the backburner.. Lately, I’ve been filled with a fiery passion to get back in and finally get fully immersed. Videos like this really help fill me with the urge to dive headlong into it!

I may not have started in 1.0 so I don't have experience with the original game, but as someone who started playing this game during the ARR beta it is really amazing to see how far this game has come and evolved over the various expansions. The game has had high and low points throughout it's life, but overall the story, gameplay and the community has gotten better and better as time has gone on and I can't wait to see where it goes in the future.
This video has really touched me. I started playing during HW but with two jobs and all, I never really got deep into FFXIV until Stormblood. I now have an FC full of friends, many I have met in person, hung out and had a great time. I've cleared tons of content and have built such a love for the game. tate this had me weeping. stormblood hit me at a really rough time in my life, family members passing away, having to drop out of college. existing in eorzea these past two years (well ive been playing since 1.0 but stormblood was when i really got deep into it) has helped me process and move forward. friends i made through this game helped me seek therapy, and i got to learn how much this game means to so so so many people. thank you so much, dude. thank you for constantly making solid content, and being a solid dude.

This was the patch I came in, as well. Right when Byakko was a high-end duty. Although it wasn't as memorable for me considering I'm highly unfortunate when it comes to being surrounded by terrible people.. I also met my boyfriend and a few other really nice friends of his as well. We may not be able to all play together every day but when we could, through new content or old, it was the best times of my life. After continuously watching you and Drak, NEST was my biggest change of heart when it came to Savage content. My boyfriend and I feel a lot more inspired to keep trying harder at more challenging things. Thank you Tate and NEST alltogether. Stormblood will definitely be one hell of a ride to remember.

From not even knowing what positionals were on dragoon to discovering the best class in the game (smn), savage raiding, and meeting some of my best friends; it's been a wild 2 years. I've been playing since the end of heavensWard so I count stormblood as my first expansion for playing final fantasy XIV I have so many good memories of playing this expansion it's brought back my love and hype for like video games this video captures all those feelings in one fell swoop that it brought me to tears I've been watching you since the beginning of stormblood ty for making this and excellent choice of music.
So Stormblood was special for me. Not only was it the first time I reached endgame for an MMO, but I also made more friends than I can remember, and reconnected with a lot of friends from when I started playing games more intensively back in high school. And funny enough, this song fits because it was one of my favorites during high school, so it brought a tear to my eye. I guess, I wanted to say thank you for making this.
This entire video made me smile, and reminded me how awesome these past 2 years have been. I still have the memories from ARR and HW as well, from raiding the Binding Coils and Alexander, battling and farming the EX primals, and just goofing off with the FC. I can't wait to see what memories await us for the next 2 years!
A lot has happened to me in the time Stormblood has launched. I've quit, resubbed, quit again, then resubbed a few months later. But more importantly, my real life has changed a lot. Thanks for making this video, it's put a lot of things into perspective and reminds me of a lot of good memories. FFXIV was one thing that has remained constant in my life throughout the last few years and I've been especially thankful for it. Looking forward to seeing your adventures in Shadowbringers!

I have been playing 14 for 3 month by now, and even if i didnt get to exprience everything at the time of lunch i still got in tears with this video, it made me re think from when i frist started and now have finished Stormblood.... And its been a journey that im now proud to be on, and to continúe with you and everyone else in friday
While Stormblood might not have been the best expansion, it sure was a great time. It managed to keep me in the game, make so many new friends and it did contain some of my favorite moments and characters in the story so far. The 4.0 main scenario was truly great, the highs and lows you went through throughout was just ... my word! Then we have my two favorite characters from the expansion, Gosetsu and Tsuyu, that story arc just sat so well with me and is the reason that Tsuyu ex fight is my favorite fight out there. :) ... Also absolutely amazing video, and good choice of a 'cheesy song' it only made it so much better!
With the end of storm blood came an end to a little part of my own history, a recent end to a relationship, parting with some friends to make more with server transfers and soon to be an independent life with moving out. Storm blood really has been one ride I'm not going to forget! Well put together Tate! Keep doing what you're doing and being amazing

Man, I loved this expansion, but I didn't realize how many great memories I made during it until I saw the procession of bosses. Every single one of them brought back memories of the first time I saw them, and all the fun I had along the way. Every raid boss brought back memories of gradual progression with friends. Like you said, Stormblood may not have had Heavensward's amazing story and setting, but for me, I've never had more fun in this game than I did in this expansion. I'm so excited for Shadowbringers, but I'll never forget all the amazing fun I had in Stormblood.
Over-used the song may be, but this was a really awesome way of cramming "everything" from stormblood into the same video without it dragging on and being very simple and neat. I love it.

I am utterly upset that I cannot punch this like button more, HW story and setting were incredible but this expansion was still made by the same beautiful minds and the memories I've made in both are irreplaceable. I remember the launch of stormblood, the 3k queue for my server Balmung. I remember the excitement of finally getting in and running to do quests. Exploring a new zone, and the memes of Raubahn Savage. I remember getting in line to get through while the servers crashed. I remember the first time I saw susano use his giant sword attack. I remember the first time I heard Lakshmi's music. I remember my very first clear of the royal menagerie. You may not have been the best expansion ever Stormblood, but fuck if you were not fun. So long buddy. See ya on the other side.
I had shivers, reminiscing these 2 years... Though this expansion didn't mark me as much as Heavensward, the fact that I made many new friends in the game, and convinced some other real friends to join me and my FC in this adventure...warms my heart. I can't wait to jump in Shadowbringers together with them.

I'm still a very new player to this game (as in just hit level 50 for the first time last night \o/) and I've not really interacted much with other people in the game, but every time I have I always felt welcome. The amount of love that this games community has for the game is just amazing. I hope I get the chance to experience end game raids in this game in Shadowbringers!
Stormblood is when I really started to get into the game, content-wise. And I picked up role-playing again after a break, where I met my boyfriend of, a year now, I think. The past couple of years have been rough on me to say the least, and if I didn't have him around with me, I don't know what I would have done. I'm going to visit him for a week in September, and it all still feels so surreal. Finding him is my favorite Stormblood memory.

I've been playing since the end of heavensWard so I count stormblood as my first expansion for playing final fantasy XIV I have so many good memories of playing this expansion it's brought back my love and hype for like video games this video captures all those feelings in one fell swoop that it brought me to tears I've been watching you since the beginning of stormblood ty for making this and excellent choice of music.
So Stormblood was special for me. Not only was it the first time I reached endgame for an MMO, but I also made more friends than I can remember, and reconnected with a lot of friends from when I started playing games more intensively back in high school. And funny enough, this song fits because it was one of my favorites during high school, so it brought a tear to my eye.
I guess, I wanted to say thank you for making this.
This entire video made me smile, and reminded me how awesome these past 2 years have been. I still have the memories from ARR and HW as well, from raiding the Binding Coils and Alexander, battling and farming the EX primals, and just goofing off with the FC. I can't wait to see what memories await us for the next 2 years!
A lot has happened to me in the time Stormblood has launched. I've quit, resubbed, quit again, then resubbed a few months later. But more importantly, my real life has changed a lot.
Thanks for making this video, it's put a lot of things into perspective and reminds me of a lot of good memories. FFXIV was one thing that has remained constant in my life throughout the last few years and I've been especially thankful for it.

I have been playing 14 for 3 month by now, and even if i didnt get to exprience everything at the time of lunch i still got in tears with this video, it made me re think from when i frist started and now have finished Stormblood.... While Stormblood might not have been the best expansion, it sure was a great time. It managed to keep me in the game, make so many new friends and it did contain some of my favorite moments and characters in the story so far. The 4.0 main scenario was truly great, the highs and lows you went through throughout was just ... my word! Then we have my two favorite characters from the expansion, Gosetsu and Tsuyu, that story arc just sat so well with me and is the reason that Tsuyu ex fight is my favorite fight out there. :) ... Also absolutely amazing video, and good choice of a 'cheesy song' it only made it so much better!
With the end of storm blood came an end to a little part of my own history, a recent end to a relationship, parting with some friends to make more with server transfers and soon to be an independent life with moving out.
Storm blood really has been one ride I'm not going to forget!

I definitely teared up. I can't find the words to express how much this game means to me and Stormblood brought so, so many good times and friends, both of which I'm looking forward to more of in Shadowbringers.

Man, I loved this expansion, but I didn't realize how many great memories I made during it until I saw the procession of bosses. Every single one of them brought back memories of the first time I saw them, and all the fun I had along the way. Every raid boss brought back memories of gradual progression with friends. Like you said, Stormblood may not have had Heavensward's amazing story and setting, but for me, I've never had more fun in this game than I did in this expansion. I'm so excited for Shadowbringers, but I'll never forget all the amazing fun I had in Stormblood.

I am utterly upset that I cannot punch this like button more, HW story and setting were incredible but this expansion was still made by the same beautiful minds and the memories I've made in both are irreplaceable. I remember the launch of stormblood, the 3k queue for my server Balmung. I remember the excitement of finally getting in and running to do quests. Exploring a new zone, and the memes of Raubahn Savage. I remember getting in line to get through while the servers crashed. I remember the first time I saw susano use his giant sword attack. I remember the first time I heard Lakshmi's music. I remember my very first clear of the royal menagerie. You may not have been the best expansion ever Stormblood, but fuck if you were not fun. So long buddy. See ya on the other side.

Though this expansion didn't mark me as much as Heavensward, the fact that I made many new friends in the game, and convinced some other real friends to join me and my FC in this adventure...warms my heart. I can't wait to jump in Shadowbringers together with them.

Started my journey in Stormblood and my life has changed for the better. I can't thank all the people that have come into my life since joining this community.
I'm still a very new player to this game (as in just hit level 50 for the first time last night \o/) and I've not really interacted much with other people in the game, but every time I have I always felt welcome. The amount of love that this games community has for the game is just amazing. I hope I get the chance to experience end game raids in this game in Shadowbringers!

Stormblood is when I really started to get into the game, content-wise. And I picked up role-playing again after a break, where I met my boyfriend of, a year now, I think. The past couple of years have been rough on me to say the least, and if I didn't have him around with me, I don't know what I would have done.
I'm going to visit him for a week in September, and it all still feels so surreal. Finding him is my favorite Stormblood memory.

Stormblood was the first expansion I played from the start to the end since it came out and it has sure had its ups and downs. I started when HW came out and have never stopped this game is just so amazing. Honestly can't wait for SHB and what it has in store for us.
