I bought a Garmin GLO 2 myself to use with my iPad wifi only model. I have a question for you. When GLO 2 is powered ON and plugged in, does your status LED work properly? Does it seem like it is alternate blinking between green & orange?? I had my GLO2 charging for almost 4 hours and that is what I see. As per the manual that means "Faulty battery or system error". I read from one review that it appears like that but is working normally. So I am wondering how yours is?
Hi I found this quite informative and I am thinking of getting. If I may I wish to ask you 1) I connect it the Ipad and open goggle maps and that is it? It has gps capabilities? 2) Can you use spotify or another music app whilst using this? I3) I take it it does not use Internet? Thanks in advance
Just connect the Garmin to the iPad via bluetooth and you will have GPS for navigation, it's that simple. No internet as my iPad is wifi only, and I have not tried running other apps at the same time as navigating.
Just waiting for the Hobbit to finish her Radiotherapy, then we are off to find some trails.

Hi, have you tried the garmin glo 2 with the waze app? thanks
Works well with Osmand, Gaia GPS and also Google maps. I've not tried waze yet.
It's been a while since the video, do you still recommend the GAIA GPS + Garmin GLO2
Going to be testing it out properly in the next week or so, I'll let you know my thoughts then.
