got a new amplifier for my guitarist boyfriend and opened it up to see it. I untied the bow that my friend so graciously tied for me to see the amplifier and couldn't re-tie the bow again! thank you so much!!! thanks to you, my boyfriend can have a pretty present for his christmas! ur a lifesaver

It took me a second to realize is that when you "stick it through" at 2:33, it is the FOLDED ribbon you are sticking through to create the second loop of the bow, and not the end of the ribbon.

Great video. I just used it to learn to tie bows for my 20th anniversary gifts for my husband. Was using ring boxes, though, so they were small. When bringing the second end through everything by looping over and pulling under, I found that slipping a pair of tweezers under the ribbons to grab the end of the ribbon and pull it on through worked wonders when working with such a small box. :)

OMG thank you! This tutorial actually helped me tie a bow on my own for the first time without help from anyone. I never believed it was that easy and now my present looks beautiful. Used dark blue paper with a leopard print ribbon.
