I’m native to Perez Zeledon and you have showed me more on TH-cam about my town than my entire life living there. Lol Now, I’m currently living in Florida, I love your videos... I watch them every day.. I do have a plans to plant around 100 fruit trees on a property that I bought in December 2018.

Thanks for taking us here Pete, and what a beautiful property you have Eric. You have loud singing cicadas too- makes everything sound so alive and vibrant. Excellent editing Melissa.

Wow wow wooooow! This guy - I really like his vibe and his place. I'd like to go visit here. Also, that other guy you just featured - the 'nursery with everything' .... man these are some great places. I like seeing the permie community developers and stuff, but you can tell these guys are tops. What's next? You just keep finding better and better sites!

That’s so awesome! I’m fascinated by what he’s done with the coconuts and would love a more detailed video about growing coconuts here in Florida. I live in the Tampa area and don’t know if it would be possible to have fruit on coconut palms if they’re grown in containers for winter.

Very interesting, are they keeping the deep rooted trees to stop land slide, so that top soil doesn't all just wash down the hill? I worry when a perfectly adapted forest of plants gets picked over by man. A lot of the fruits they are planting, bananas, coconuts, have small root systems, don't they? Great video thank you Pete.

About the truck...America's currency is the petrodollar. In order to hold world reserve status, and stay in agreement with OPEC, we have to consume a large amount of petroleum in order to stay on top. Sad, because diesel and electric are pretty awesome.

The big oil companies are the ones who won't let those trucks/cars in up here. They all want everyone to be forced to buy more of their oil/gas. There was an old guy here who had some oil leases and had apparently made quite a bit of money from the oil who was bitching about people should have to pay higher gas prices, he's dead now. That's a nice place there, thanks Pete.

What is the (anti-parasite, anti-bacterial GI tract infection) plant he names at 23:45, which he says is the most bitter plant in the world and from which a tea can be made for such a medical purpose? I didn't recognize and couldn't make out the (Spanish?) name of it that he spoke.

Great video, I'm so jealous of you guys up here n iceland we have 120 days of "summer" we can just about grow apples and pears. Otherwise everything has to be done in greenhouse. Would sure love to be in Costa Rica right now.

They don't allow it because of politics. I know an inventor who created an additive that allowed him to go from Texas to Washington DC and back on one tank of gas. He went there to talk with Congress to try to get them to change their minds to allow him to bring this to market but they refused.
