I picked this one up because I know many of my horror community friends love it. I had a feeling it would sell out fast so I jumped on it. I can always sell it if I don't like it. I would suggest watching a review of the movie instead of just relying on the trailer. From the reviews I've seen, the movie is entertaining even though you can tell a lot was cut out. Michael Mann made a 3 hour film that was cut for time.
I had a lot of things to do today. It's windy and it's 20° here in Rochester NY. The last thing I did was buy a lot of movie at Goodwill. They're now selling bundles 4 or 5 movies for $3.99! The downside is that the packs are very random. You might get a 5 horror movies bundle and that's like $.75 a movie but other times it's just 2 horror movies and 3 of other genres! Argh!😡 Oh well I'll donate the movies to Needledrop record shop. But I'm still watching the recent Blu-rays and 4Ks that I got. I watch movies 2 or 3 times before I put them away. Anyway 4Ks numbers are not bad considering that before the pandemic they were a mere 5%. DVDs keep dominating. You have to keep in mind that all those newer releases are also released on DVD besides Blu-rays or 4Ks. But for horror boxed sets they use Blu-rays and 4Ks nowadays not DVDs anymore. I got Paper Moon on preorder during the B&N sale. Saw it as a kid and it’s a classic about con artists. Not a romance, but definitely some comedy. Enjoy!

@ I’ve seen Bringing up Baby and Arsenic & Old Lace, but not the other two. They were OK to me, but I’m not thinking of watching them again, well, maybe Arsenic. Anyway, when I’min the mood for a comedy, I generally am not drawn to old movies, even though there were some comic geniuses: the Marx Bros, W C Fields, even the Three Stooges. Someday, when I have more time on my hands, like in a couple of years when I retire, I will revisit some of these, but there are so many movies I want to watch and books I want to read, I don’t know when they’ll come up. So you don't mind watching movies that have entire scenes cut out? You rarely get director's cut streaming. Not to mention the cost of streaming and the extremely annoying ads. It's a waste of life to sit through those ads which is way more precious to me than money. Plus the awesome commentaries and extras. And when you buy physical media, you are supporting the artists who made the film. And what do you do when your favorite movies and shows are taken off your streaming sites or your digital movie you paid for gets deleted and you get no refund? I just don't understand buy you do you I guess
This is decent news for physical media fans. But again there is lots of room for the bluray & 4k format to improve on in sales & get more people to start collecting physical media again. But before any of that would or could happen. This is what needs to be done first. Like more reasonable price range on physical media & more availability on first time catalog titles releases on bluray & 4k format & studios need to start releasing more streaming films on physical media. And if we can do all of these then we will see the sales go up on blurays & 4ks & sales go down on dvds. As people would start upgrading there dvds to either blurays or 4ks format bc there's more availablelty to get more catalog titles on either blurays or 4ks. But until we can get all these to happen dvds will remain number one on the sales charts. But maybe in 2025 we could start of these changes

I know I'm in the minority here but I don't like really like Dune Part 2, I really just like they're Ovaratted, I tried to love this movie, But I asleep when I watched, But don't get me wrong Denis Villanueva was a great Director, Enemy, Prissoner, Sicario, Arrival and Blade Runner 2049 was a masterpiece movie and I really love it but Dune Part 1 and 2 it doesn't work with me
@@hishamnct6983 The Dune movies are overly long and slower pace than I would like. But in general I think the source material is fairly not super exciting, that’s why Star Wars borrowed some ideas and spiced it up!
I was happy to see how well The Keep did from Vinegar Syndrome. It sold out in 2 days. Absolutely wonderful

@ CC isn’t the label I think of for comedies. They do have Dr. Strangelove, but I assume you’ve seen that one (Stanley Kubrick).

I'm 100% streaming now. Looks great, digital movie prices can be amazing for 4K/Atmos stuff. I mean, Blade Runner in 4K/Atmos for $5?? No brainer!

The Pattinson Batman movie was in 2022. I was hoping for the second Batman movie to be released this year. Not happening.

Same here broooo I like old movies better that’s how I collect my favorite movies 🎥 and tv 📺 shows on DVDs 📀 I buy new movies that are worth it
