They hate it because they can't have it. If you haven't noticed these peoples primary complaint is that they arent positioned to succeed in this country. They believe that things like the "American Dream" are too fundamentally hard to obtain and they even go as far as saying that its impossible for everybody to succeed. And they are 100% right. That doesnt mean the people who can actually win in society should give it up. Its not our fault that God (or mother nature, whoever you believe the dealer is in this cosmological poker game) dealt them a bad hand. Im just saying I am getting really tired of these people trying to justify the reasons why they need to enslave the rest of us who get up everyday and work hard to get the things we want in this society. They just want everything to be free. Well ill tell you something there is no such thing because somebody had to work to produce the resources they consume like the rest of us. They want us to bake their cake so they can eat it too, and it just doesnt work that way. And no matter how many times they try to argue with us like little children in a candy store. The answer is no. Ill literally eat the candy i bought with my own money right in front of you to show you how little i care if you allow yourself to starve to death... Im just saying they say impossible beauty standards when they literally work hard everyday to make themselves ugly. Im just saying i would rather send food stamps to a really poor country in Africa than to keep paying for LAs unsustainable economy and to have these people riot because the handouts arent enough. When will people understand that welfare is slavery of the contributing class so that democrats can get all the power? This is just the same old con of slavery sold under a different banner. Until people wake up and realize these woke people intend to enslave all of us and our children to their needs, FOREVER... Im just saying Americans are stupid that we keep arguing about an acceptable degree of societal slavery. The founding fathers would be turning in their graves right now realizing we have given up our human rights of autonomy so easily to people who dont see welfare as a form of reparations. They say welfare is christian charity. I say its egyptian slavery all over again...
Correction: They hate it when they don't need it. They hate it because they are lesser than but and ate up media propaganda that states masculinity is bad and the reason why they are lower on the totem pole. They hate toxic masculinity until they need it.
“The longer a man spent in the gym the less they believe in the redistribution of wealth” People who go to the gym have learned that hard work and dedication yields results.
@@philosophpascal ... Oversimplification. The poor might work "the hardest" in general. But I can tell you as a working class person, I'm working 5 days a week and doing a part time course 2 days a week do that in the future, I will have more money than my colleagues who work 5 days a week, then spend their weekends wasting most of the money they make on unnecessary junk. At the end of the day, those of us who try harder will do better.
"“The longer a man spent in the gym the less they believe in the redistribution of wealth” People who go to the gym have learned that hard work and dedication yields results." Hmmm, seems that old stereotype that guys either have brains _or_ braun...is just another leftist bullshit wheeze. Sooo not surprised.
What’s insane is I’ve talked to more guys at the gym about philosophy and have received more valuable feedback from them than anyone I talked to while I was at college.
The brain is nurtured by the body. To have a maximized cognitive output, one must exert maximum effort with their body. Studies have shown that muscle release chemicals signals for the brain, and stimulate it in a positive way. The number 1 way to increase physical and cognitive longevity, and reduce dementia alzheimer's, etc. is to work out
Really? most people who go to gym have/ start to develop low self esteem because when they work out and start to look better, a standard is being set in their mind that they feel like they need to meet or maintain but as working out need dedicating and hard work which is not always an easy case in life when they fail to meet their self established "minimum standard" they become miserable and bitter, also no matter how much you say 'i work out for myself', there is always an element of wanting people's admiration and attention to a degree being one of the key elements in motivating to work out in the first place. What I'm saying is people are superficial and this superficialities can manifest in various ways and lifestyles. And many times superficialities and philosophies often sound similar.
@@vaskar1017 I definitely work out for superficial reasons. It's no guilty secret, nor is it something thats subconscious. I'm very conscious of it, and I wont ever let someone make me feel like it's a bad ting. But, I definitely don't have low self esteem. Because, like most people who go to the gym on a consistent basis, I've had the dedication to stick with it. And, I put in the work to look better than I did when I started. So, the only "minimum standard" I have is to not look like that again. And, if for some reason I did have to stop, the cycle starts over. So, there's nothing to be bitter about. And, its a shared experience with people that I talk to at the gym. You said "most people who go to the gym have low self esteem", then list a bunch of characteristics of people who don't actually go to the gym. You described people who went to the gym at one point, then stopped. So, those people may have low self esteem, but you wont see them in the gym, cause they don't go anymore. Sounds like you are speaking on people who workout, as someone who doesnt workout. And, you're trying to put them down so you dont feel so bad about yourself for not going. If thats the case, then you should try it AND actually try to stick with it. You'll see how much it be builds character to stick with something like that and how it actually boost you self esteem in that and other areas of your life.
I used to be liberal. Then I started working out and got out of depression. Eventually my brain fog cleared. This lead me to thinking clearly, leading me to be more conservative. This is a true story
I relate to your story as well. At first, working out was a way for me to relieve stress induced from school and the general awkwardness of being a rather directionless teenager. It was a much better outlet for me as someone who had just overcome self-harm and was working on getting out of depression. Then, I felt so good after that first gym visit that I decided to keep doing it. I started using either little or no extra weight on the equipment, and then worked my way up as I got used to the equipment and felt the time was right to make my workout a little tougher and longer over the years. COVID hit, and then the option to go to a gym was taken away from me. I had already learned about the importance of fitness and good health considering that my dream job is rather punishing on the body, so I came to a realization. If I wanted to stay fit, I'd have to find a way to do that at home. I bought some dumbbells and a push up bar, and came to use those as often as I used to go to the gym (around 3 times a week) and combined them with "bare-body" exercises like burpees, pull-ups, and sit-ups. Then I learned about just how fit I would have to be not just to do my dream job, but do everything else I wanted to do my life and considerably reduce my chances of developing long-term health problems. By the time I chose to cancel my gym membership since I had been exercising at home for about a year, I had already started working out for at least one hour every day and doing smaller ones in addition to that one if I had been just sitting down for more than 30 minutes. Now, I work out every day for a little over an hour, and I think I do so on average for about 2 hours everyday when these little workouts are combined with my big hour-long one. Perhaps coincidentally, my political views became more pro-freedom and populism; similar to yours, and I no longer consider myself depressed. In a way, the lockdowns unlocked some new potential in me. Now, fitness is one of the best parts of my life because I feel the rewards for doing it even when I have doubts are so massive. For anyone who's nervous or intimidated about how or when to start: just do it. Start with what you know you can handle, make a routine out of it, and you'll be amazed at how far you go. You can do it.
He never actually said that in any philosophical text. Bodybuilding was only popularized in the late 1800s by Eugen Sandow who was from Germany. Before that, there were strong men but nobody built muscle for the purpose of looking good. Those who were muscular were genetically gifted or had lived through a lot of hardship and developed their muscles for survival in a harsh environment. Socrates was talking about the mind and maybe even cardiovascular endurance, not aesthetics. The person who wrote that quote and popularised it is extremely misinformed.
I am fat. I am fat-phobic. I don't like being fat. I've lost 20lbs, got about 40 more to go. This video has motivated me to go to the gym more. Thanks Brett. Stay awesome.👌
Yes! 60 pounds is a lot, I've lost it several times over the years... pregnancy loss, pregnancy, and nursing all play a roll in it coming back twice... but it's going to come off again. Each time even if my weight goes back up my size doesn't go as high because I'm stronger each time and have more muscle to rely on as my base. If it's your first time just don't give up, those last few pounds seem to take forever!
I think it makes sense that people who go to the gym are more conservative. No one can go to the gym for you. You have to put in the work, you have to be self sufficient.
@erizzzoooo absolutely. Most guys I met at the gym or went to the gym with just want to be left alone to go about their business in peace. You don't disturb them they won't disturb you kinda guys.
I did MMA in college and the men in my class were the kindest, calmest, most awesome individuals. They got all their aggression out on the mat and were seriously some of the greatest people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. Exercise and physical fitness makes you a better version of yourself, not only physically but mentally as well.
THIS! people need outlets, this is why all these crazy lefties are going off on others cause they don't have a healthier outlet for themselves. i don't go to the gym but my security job and video games i play help me outlet in a healthy manner.
Girls can do it too 😁😉 I used to ride around a local, outdoor velodrome here in Australia with a fluid bunch of people that included some elite cyclists. One was a 19 year old young woman that went on to race professionally in Europe. She was one of the nicest, kindest people I've ever met. I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. After a while she went from cycling to martial arts and has done very well in Muay Thai, winning three World Championships in 2017. I have still never heard her say a bad word about anyone.
Thank you. I remember when I was a kid my dad making me feel bad for not being that strong. He made me do push-ups pull ups. I went to work and lifting heavy rocks all the time, and I started lifting weights in high school. Now I’ve learned that lifting training it does make you feel good, and I am impressed with what the human body can do. There have been times where I tried to show people what the human body can do by doing certain pull ups, or lifting certain things, and they call me a show off. I used to get confused because I thought I’m not trying to glorify what I can do. I’m trying to show you what you too are capable of with the right amount of effort and time.
It's hilarious seeing articles like this because I am fat. And yeah, I'm hella fat phobic. It's gross to be overweight. I wanna be healthy and, yes, thin. My husband was originally super scrawny but is bulking up. We got this, and it's so nice to know that the support is there!
@@revizion9101 maybe at first, but love going to gym for the way I feel mentally, and how my muscles feel and look after a workout. The long term gains are a bonus

@Fenwick Chick yes!!! This!! Thank you 👏👏👏 I'm 39, You do not have to be a dem, rep, or lib you can register to vote as Independent. I believe in treating any human being with respect but there are line's, like I don't agree with them indoctrinating our children like this! Most teenagers don't understand what these policies & politicians do to our country in the long run, they just listen to these far left crazies and think everything they say is true. All politicians lie, you have to do your own research on them & really look into their past decisions & how those decisions affected the entire country & whether they kept any promises made during their last elections, speech's etc. Then make a decision based on that & whether you align with their values & beliefs.
If these psychos see exercising as “far right”, I’m gonna start working out again. I’ve always struggled with it because I can’t stay committed to one workout program, but I think this just gave me the incentive to start again.
Me too. I’m going to be intentional about wearing patriotic gear while working out from now on too. Time to strap a speaker to my bike and blast proud to be an American.
Just figure out what muscles you want to work and look up exercises to target said muscles. I workout 4 times a week with 2 days being muscles above the waist and the other 2 being “leg day”. Start off slow to not injure yourself, it’s a marathon not a race. One workout won’t really do much but doing a small workout consistently will yield big results! Try to make it fun and easy at first. Don’t forget to get enough protein for recovering muscles too. Good luck out there.
Check out calisthenics... it's the most motivating and impressive stuff I've ever seen people do. Andrea Larosa is a spectacle to watch. He's a legend.
Having been super fat I can honestly say it’s not fat phobia it is being sick sore and feeling like crap. Lost 90lbs and put on muscle. I am 73. It’s less about looks and a lot about feeling good physically and mentally, and enjoying better health- it is health span over life span.
It warms my heart that there is a TH-cam channel where reasonably minded individuals can get together and ridicule everything that is wrong with society
There are quite a few these days… all of us normal, common sense folks who grew up in the real world are sick and tired of the lies, accusations, and slander.
Kinda true, I don't lean either way but it's definitely a right leaning audience. It's mostly stories about how a liberal did something dumb or how someone overcame being liberal, it's funny that they don't understand identifying as either is equally dumb
I just wanna say this account has honestly helped me so much, I used to identify as non binary just to fit in with the crowd so I didn't get hate, I was afraid to share my views on things because it was considered controversial, this account made me realize I don't have to try and fit in with everyone else and that other people have my views 👍
Good job on staying true to yourself Shin. I was also in a similar situation, and this channel helped me a lot... I'm glad it's helping other people too :)
so you were in a crowd of non binary people? doesn't make sense lol, no such thing exists.... might sound sarcastic but no for real, in middle school, high school, college or whatever, where does a "crowd" of non binary people exists? i think going non binary would get you more hate than not going for that...
Yeah just say you are an idiot… you didn’t have to come out as non binary just because…. I was born a male and say I am a male and I still have normal friends and friends that are non binary 🤦🏾♂️
I've found that most of my friends who studied martial arts from a young age were generally LESS aggressive and more respectful than those who didn't. We were taught to be strong to help others rather than for vanity.
In my new job, almost everyone is into fitness to some degree. It's the least toxic workplace I've ever been in. Not saying that's the cause, but there's a correlation.
@@rodiusmaximus makes perfect sense. Multiple studies have linked, at least via correlation, reductions in stress hormones like cortisol, which means less grumpy coworkers. Also, a bit of a stretch, but I think the parallels could be drawn that people who are willing to take time for themselves and for a long term goal, are more likely to set boundaries at work, not hang all of their worth on their job, see that results aren’t always immediate and have a better work life balance.
Seeing this over and over just makes me want to workout even more than I do, and I already go 6-7 times a week. This just makes my desire to have the upmost self-respect and capability of anything that much stronger!
Yeah, my uncle used to be a Physical Therapist and He was jacked, and he said to only workout 4-5 times a week and I ignored him and started working out 6 times a week and it wasn't that good I had slower gains less energy and when I had an arm injury I lost a lot of muscle much quicker, so especially if your younger I definitely recommend only working out 4-5 times a week
Don’t listen to these guys. I workout 6 days a week, but I’ve worked up to it, my body requires more & more to reach overload. Progress is determined on time you spend strengthening your body. Going 6 days a week over 5 will never earn you less progress. You might just be a bit more sore on rest day. & the day you get back.
This was the perfect video to listen to while I worked out today 💪🏼 I have 4 kids and I honestly hate it when people say: “oh but you have so many kids! It’s ok if you’re out of shape” Um.. no. I have to workout more BECAUSE I have kids! I have to be strong for THEM and teach THEM to have discipline and be healthy!
Literally. And worse, because apparently doing exercise doesn't save you from illness like covid. Donuts and burgers on the other hand, apparently do. It's a weird world.

Ya not many but they’re obnoxiously vocal about it. Its also just a really large misinterpretation of what the idea of fat acceptance is. The idea behind fat acceptance is built on this idea that you shouldn’t judge someone cause they’re fat I mean most people who are fat know it and don’t need a wake up call. What they may need is to be appreciated for who they are and probably therapy to deal with why they gained weight in the first place. Otherwise most people who try to lose weight fail because they don’t keep it off after losing it.

Watching the "fatphobic" portion made me realize we're about to hit a turning point where all the accusations of phobias and isms aren't going to mean shit any more, because those being accused are just going to say fine, you're right. That's what I am and I don't care. What are you going to do about it? When those women (why is it always women btw?) were talking about what makes you fatphobic I was just like alright, I guess I'm fatphobic then. Who gives a shit? You do your thing and I'll do mine. Problem solved.
Good looks dawg stay healthy. It's crazy how the wokies talk about supporting peoples individuality and quirks and yet, they do not reciprocate that treatment at all. It's "I am this way and it is the only way to be an individual so, you either support me and therefore support people being individuals, or you don't support me and therefore don't support peoples rights to be what they please. You cannot be yourself and own it unless you behave and feel and act exactly as I do." It's all hypocritical and backwards.
I’m a fat guy, far less so than I was a year ago but still working to get to a healthy weight. They are right about one thing, I am fat phobic, I am afraid of what being fat has done to me. For most of my life I was in good shape, I worked out and trained in various disciplines of the martial arts until I had some serious injuries that made me stop. I gained over 100 pounds in less than a year and developed heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes and lost physical strength. Depression kicked in and I started eating more and put on another 75 pounds in 6 months. I went from 195 pounds to 380 pounds in 18 months. I am now 230 pounds after 2 years of hard work and strict diet. I’m off the blood pressure medication and the diabetes medication, I’m regaining my strength and my joints don’t hurt nearly as bad as they used to. So yes, I am afraid of being fat, it is a dangerous way to live and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. For the inevitable question, I am on a nearly carnivore diet. I eat beef, pork, eggs, cheese, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts, mushrooms and spinach. I give myself one day each month to eat whatever I want. For exercise I walk. I’m hoping to be able to get back in the gym soon.
Shut up. You know damn well that fat phobic means people that hate fat people. it has nothing to do with you or your personal fitness goals. There are people out there that hate fat people the way Nazis hated the Jews, that is what people are having a problem with, not you. I would also like to add that 9 times out of 10 people who are obsessed with fitness to the point it takes over their lives completely are far right, they have to be ready for that race war doncha know.
@@tabbyreed8925 I will not shut up. And I don’t care what they mean. They should be more worried about their health and less worried about what others think. Maybe if they put the energy into losing weight instead of creating tictok videos they wouldn’t be so miserable.
Gym bro culture can honestly be pretty wholesome, too. Lot of guys just out there trying to lift each other up. I'm trying really hard to reach my goals this year. I faltered in the winter this last year, but I'm gonna hit it hard this year.
I'm a girl that lived in a house of gym bros, and I can confirm that they are indeed super wholesome. One of my housemates was going on a date, and everyone hyped him up and reminded him to be a gentleman or else "mom" (me haha) will be upset. They also treated me like the queen, except when there was a cockroach or a big spider in the house. Then roles would switch and I would be the 5'4 knight in shining armour while all my gym bro housemates were 6 feet plus, super jacked princesses 🤣
When ppl talk about fatphobia, it makes want to workout. Story time: I did track and field all throughout middle school and high school. One day I was at a family reunion and met one of my dad’s cousins. She was morbidly obese and literally could not walk. When my dad mentioned that I did track, she then said, “Oh I did track in high school too! I loved running.” In that moment, I hid it, but a new fear was unlocked. How could someone who loves running, become so overweight that she can no longer walk?? That moment has always stuck with me, and now that I’m out of highschool and not training everyday, I’m not as in shape as I would like to be (not overweight in the slightest, but I don’t like not having abs lol). I try to eat healthy and workout when I have the time, but sometimes that moment pops back up and legitimately get scared. I never want to be immobile. Ever. I never want to be unable to run, much less stand. If that makes me fatphobic, so be it.
I just found new inspiration to stay on track! Thank you! Also this 'fat-phobic' movement has made me want to do it harder and better, just out of spite.
Damn that's a powerful realization. I have always been very strong and healthy growing up because my dad made me wrestle from second grade to my freshman year of highschool (and I thank him for it every day). But now that I'm on my own, I hadn't been working out like I used to, and I've never gotten fat, or too unhealthy, but I've always remembered how great I felt as a healthy young man and how I used to be able to do any physical feat that I wanted to do without question because my body was just simply capable of doing it. I saw my younger brother one day working out and he was starting to get huge and that motivated me to get a gym membership. It's been around a month and a half now and I've gone every week, six days of the week. I see my muscles coming back, and I'm watching my strength come back as well as my energy levels and motivation. Being immobile is a terrifying thing to imagine when you can remember what it feels like to be healthy. One big motivator that got me back into it consistently was that multiple friends of mine went to the gym so now we hold each other accountable. So, what I wanna say is if you struggle with the consistency a bit (I've been there big time) reaching out to a friend and getting a gym membership together will help immensely. Anyways, take it easy and I wish you happy days!
Also, I had a similar situation. I was in track only for a few semesters of highschool. But when covid hit The States in 2020, that summer was so bad for me. Since I was actually a bit nervous to go out and infect/get infected, I simply didn't move. So I became disappointed in myself for making great progress with my stamina, body, and mind only to let myself go even worse in about the same amount of time it took me to become at my best. (Sorry if this was put into words a little weird). It's an important lesson to learn, so I am happy I got to be taught it. Anyway, 20 US pounds gone and ready to lose more!
I had a similar realization after seeing all the other women in my family become obese. It is now a legit fear of mine to become fat. I will starve before I let myself become overweight. I am always conscious of what I'm eating, how many calories are in it, and the macros I'm eating so I can stay in shape.
I've been working out since high school...for over 35 years. Competed in natural bodybuilding (drug-free) and powerlifting through my 20's, and still maintain a great condition for someone that is new to his 50s. I am in a unique position to comment, given that length of experience. This was happening, even when I was young. I could sense that people not only judged, but did so out of their own insecurity. I never acted like I was superior, never put it in anyone's face, or tried to make others feel bad for not doing what I chose to do. We all have choices, right? But I still received that attitude. In fact it really made it it difficult to meet women, because I think they instantly felt some insecurity.
Damn, hell yeah! I'm incredibly happy for you! Keep the train going and make sure to be proud of the progress you make no matter how small it is. Being able to do an extra rep here or there where you couldn't before is incredible! Lots of love and I wish you the best!
A friend and I joined the military 3 years ago. He was very obese (130 kg). In 3 months he lost 20 kg. Now he weights 100 kg with much more muscles and much less body fat. Now he feels healthy and strong. Yeah, he is a real fat-phobic and I am proud of him.
Didn't go to the military but did the same thing. 120kg to 91kg. Yeah still chubby and still no six pack. But hey i still have a couple months till summer. I will be shredded. I will have an absolutly shredded and cut six pack while being bulbous and succulant with very decent mass in all my muscles. By June i wil dry, lean and conditioned.

We should all be fat phobic, because being fat will lead to bad things in life. We should espouse eating well and exercising as doing both are the best way to live well and likely longer. There is literally no benefit to being fat.
I work as a personal trainer at a gym, and I agree with everything you said. My motivation to work out and to teach other people to as well is so that we have more people in this world who are physically, mentally, and spiritually healthy. I don't care where you land politically, finding the motivation to continually improve yourself will always be a virtue.
While being a gym bro might have negative connotations for some, it's important to recognize that not all gym-goers are the same. Many gym bros are respectful, considerate, and passionate about their health and fitness goals. Being a gym bro can be a green flag that signals someone who is disciplined, focused, and dedicated.
meh it's one of those word things. Like the difference between a bikie and biker. A biker rides motorbikes. A bikie rides motorbikes, grows weed, cooks meth, and robs liquor stores. A gym 'bro' does Crossfit or serious bodybuilding, and takes up all of the equipment and takes selfies constantly.
@@rodiusmaximus No, nobody doing crossfit is a "gym bro". Crossfit is stupid as hell & anybody that is even semi serious about lifting would laugh at crossfit. It just glorifies terrible form & pointless events.

And I have to tell you a lot of times when I went to the gym those gym bros are first to give you Help . And they all did it in a positive way? Thank you gym Bros.
They don't realise that everytime they're against something, will only result on attracting the bigger mass to the thing they're against. Also vice versa. Look at Hogwarts Legacy & Velma recently. They tried to sabotage it from the beginning & they still is, but it doesn't stop the game for being the number 1. Non-gamers even bought it & gave it to their nephews or cousins. Velma had the most terrible score on IMDB for an animated series & hated by both general audience & the fans whilst the woke mob love it. The woke mod even tried to push it as a gamechanger in Scooby-Doo franchise.
"The point is, it is easier to control and indoctrinate people who are unhealthy..." All the languages in the world, and Brett chose to speak straight facts
This video gave me even more motivation. I’m still overweight but I’ve been grinding, going to the gym three times a week, running 2 or 3 times a week, and trying to eat healthier. I’ve made some good progress, but I know I have a long way to go. Seeing other people with the same mindset is so wholesome and makes me wanna keep going even more. And the arguments the liberals have are hilarious too. Saying gym goers are white supremacists, when I’m literally a 21 year old Hispanic man 😂. To everyone who sees this, keep on working out so you can become the best version of yourself 👊🏼

22 year old Gym Bro here: I absolutely identify with Brett's interpretation of men's fitness. Plain and simple. Amazing mental and health benefits for just an hour a day. Is also a way to became the person I want to be and attract the same type of people to my life (ultimately a woman who shares my values and want a strong men). And is a way to fight modern emasculation, which is becoming a real problem. The world needs strong men to address modern problems.
@@ivanferriman You cannot "fight emasculation", what you do is not let them emasculate you, and going to gym contributes to just that. Be the change you want to see in the world.
My husband has started back in the gym daily for the first time in a few years and I have seen such a positive change in him. Not just physically but mentally. Being in the gym and working on your body starts to overflow to working on your mind. I don’t work out but we have started hiking trails during the weekends and I love it! Gives you time to think, enjoy life and your family.
i wish i'd gone to the gym when i was in my early 20's. The mental health aspect of it is amazing, though the social media side of it is cringeworthy at times. It's a great way to decompress after work if you have a sedentary job in an office or desk... which most men have these days. Also, coming from someone with lots of sporting injuries, it is also a safe way to get active again... young gym bros know so much about muscle groups and how/what to strengthen in order to get started. These people who are against gym culture are terminally online and need to actually see a gym for themselves to understand the benefit they can get from it.
I was extremely obese and lost 82lbs in 10 months and gained quite a bit of muscle mass and strength. I started doing it because my mobility got worse and worse and I couldn't go on like this. If this change means I'm fatphobic now, then so be it. On the other hand, I now feel much better in my own skin and have a certain self-esteem again, even if my journey is not yet over. I think the trade was worth it.
@@fizzyjecado I bet the people who make this political aren't even going to the gym. They're just envious, bitter, miserable people who like to step on others to make themselves feel good.
No more non-political than video games. And yet, Gamergate still happened. The progressive ideology will not permit *anything* to be outside the realm of politics.
As a gym bro, I approve this message. Unfortunately, bitter people will look for any excuse to be bitter towards other people. People who are fit tend to be more confident and attractive, and there are so many diverse viewpoints in the gym too.
@@matthijs2295 Omg that is so racist to even and biggotted to even think about people being obese being overweight. Like it's just waterweight and your fault. More weighted people can identify as skinny. If you reject someone because of their weight or gender you are bigottet. If someone asks you for sex you should instantly respond with yes and not take a look at their age, gender or physical attractivness. It doesn't matter how you feel. It just matters how they feel. And if they feel like they have a domination kink and want to peg you in your ass with a horse dildo then if you don't allow that you are racist and something phobic and a nazi bigot that needs to lick the boots of Napoleon because he is a women.
I find it hilarious that my older sister who's always said I'm "superficial/shallow" for working out came to me for workout programming in the few weeks leading up to meeting a guy she'd been talking to online (overseas). In just under a month she's dropped 10lbs by eating 1 meal and 1 snack a day (not a diet I advised since she hasn't been getting enough protein) and working out for 20 minutes. I guess deep down everyone does want to improve themselves on all levels; sometimes it just takes some external motivation... And people who don't have that motivation resent those who do 😂
I go to the gym because I like feeling fit and healthy. I’m a 40 year old father of 5 and I owe it to myself, my kids and my wife to keep fit. I’ve been a “gym bro” since I was 16. The correlation to right leaning is probably true - gym bros don’t want someone else to do the work for them, they do it themselves, which is very much a right leaning idealogy. This article is great for a laugh for sure.
I'm imagine there's a correlation with self ownership, accountability, discipline, and caring about your health and fitness. Outside of maybe some upper class yuppies that are image obsessed, it's probably mostly right wing people
I honestly don't think being fit is a "right leaning" activity. I know plenty of moderates who are into fitness. I don't think political beliefs has anything to do with fitness.
@@ryannath85u do realize that what most of us reasonable folks consider “moderate”, the far left now considers right wing extremism, yes ? There is a correlation though. Yes, I’m certain that there are many that go to the gym and workout , and take pictures of themselves, and buy all the “form fitting” gear for the benefit of their followers. Most of these people (most, I said) are vapid teens and twenty something’s that have little to no interest in the political climate past the point of how it effects their college tuition. I’ve been a “gym bro” since I was a teenager, and at the ripe old age of 47 have seen very few leftists in any of the gyms I’ve frequented. I travel for work, so this isn’t limited only to my exposure of my home town gym. The guys ( and gals ) I talk to (and I talk to everyone) are either moderate right or full-on conservatives. These are the people that force themselves to make this part of their lifestyles because it benefits them in the LONG RUN. The left can’t see past the end of their own nose, and hard work is definitely not in their wheelhouse. Are there some wacko woke kids in there still sponging of daddy that have all day to hang out in the gym in their spandex and move light weight and not break a sweat while they’re filming their tictocs? Sure there are. But it’s certainly not the majority, and most of them fizzle out when they have to start actually working to support themselves. So yeah, there’s something to this, and thank God for it, cause who wants to depend on some woke ass soy boy for a spot when things get hairy ?!😂

This is really sad. But i guess this kind of absurd can only happen in the west. Where i live, - never. Not even in theory. But somebody making a comment like that to a stranger (let alone an imposing stranger), now that's a good way to invite upon oneself a whole Hell of trouble... Sorry to hear that such nonsense exists in a world that is supposed to be civilized.
I love that the people who say that stuff has zero logic whatsoever. Like sure, the groceries in your cart is somehow offensive to me because.... People told me so. It's a ridiculous mindset to care what another grown person puts in their cart at the grocery store.

Love how people told me that being less of a nerd, more social, losing weight and all these things would finally turn me more in line with the average person in my age group and all it did was manifest my beliefs even more lol.
@@devindrent8505 I'm not sure if thus answers your question but you know that standard deviation curve meme, where on both extremes the answer is the same and only in the middle people think otherwise? It was kind of like that. I started out as a fat nerd with people in my age group making fun of me for being ugly and uninteresting, so I always thought going to the gym full of big strong dudes would be horrible. Went there, lost weight, and became one of them since all those men did during that time was cheer me on to become stronger and healthier. Now the people that previously made fun of me for being an ugly nerd made fun of me for taking the gym too seriously and told me I was hating fat people now. Then it hit me. These people don't really care about self improvement, neither for themselves nor for other people, all they do is drag people down. The people at my gym praised me for my progress, found my nerdy interests to be fun and wanted to see me grow as a person instead of being depressed and dragging other people down.

I always disliked my body size. I always felt fat and I hated it but I never had enough motivation to do anything about it. I recently decided I was gonna start exercising and eating better and I was in a different mindset this time and really wanted to do it, not because I wanted to be thin so much as I just enjoyed taking care of my body and it felt good. I feel much better, I have more energy, I'm more active physically and socially and I'm finally happy with how I look. And looking good wasn't even my goal, it was just the cherry on top.
My life has improved in every single way since I joined the gym. I wouldn't be the man I am today without it. Also, I am fatphobic and proud Anyone who thinks exercise is bad is immediately at the bottom of the food chain
I started boxing some weeks ago and it is amazing. The training is intense and every day I feel more in control of my body, but the thing I love the most is the people. I had some fears before starting boxing because I have a bad habit of comparing myself to others, and I am a fat man who can't follow the fast pace of the training. But the people in the gym aren't how I imagined them to be. They are friendly, they give me advices to increase my resistance, sometimes they help me with my training to push myself beyond my limits. I return every night with my body destroyed but with a warm feeling that I acomplished something great. It's a shame I have no time to talk more with them, they seem like people I want to hang out with. I used to hate exercise, but this feeling of accomplishment and the atmosphere of camaraderie in that gym is great, almost intoxicating. I prefer this feeling over the sadness of being in my bed doing nothing. So, all of the positive things I talked about are now things of the evil nazi far right? Then this article does wonders to make it seem more apealing than being on the left. Congratulations, you played yourselves.
I’ve been working out hard this semester. The more I workout the more I appreciate those who are more fit than me, because I understand more and more what they’ve had to do to get that great looking body. Granted toning is not always healthy, but I have my goals and I’m not going to say it’s wrong to want to better your body. I’m even going to try more weights instead of cardio
Going to the gym has helped me build confidence not only in how I look but what I can achieve. Pushing down walls of discomfort and showing myself what I’m made of. You can’t be a victim when you realize how much of your life is in your control. How dare someone tell me what has saved my life and mental health is toxic. They would rather I be depressed and oppressed
I am Apache Indian. Extreme mountain running has been part of our culture for thousands of years. When I lived in FL I found it was flat, so I resorted to gym training to train for mountain running races in the Rocky Mountains. I am also Catholic and went to Notre Dame. The gym mentality is all based on you get what you work for, you work hard, struggle thru pain and suffering, being proud of your accomplishments. Having something to show at the end that you worked hard for. It also shows drive and determination. Dedication and and a will not to quit. These are qualities we should encourage in everyone.
"Hey, sir, I'm gonna interrupt your workout because apparently you are not aware that working out and being fit is a far-right extremist activity" "Ok." "You're not gonna stop?" "No."
This just makes me think about how me and my boyfriend LOVE the gym. We both want to stay healthy, to stay fit, and want to support each other more by doing so. The gym is just a form of physical therapy. There's nothing "fatphobic" about if you just want to improve yourself, but there is real fatphobia IF you're visibly distressed or crying when you see obeseness and can't look at them at all. Do I blame myself? Or do I blame themself?
I honestly never understood why gym bros are considered red flags. I always thought that they're a huge green flag, considering the level of commitment they have towards their goals. The same level of commitment could be applied to the relationship and the woman they're dating.
The ironic part about this is I'm trying to lose weight, and I just finished my 6th workout in the last two weeks. These people really boost my rebellious side.
My man and I just got done building a gym in the back yard so we can teach our girls how to stay healthy. Nothing wrong with working out taking care of yourself. Of course they would find away to add their narrative
Tacking "phobic" onto words in the first place was a disingenuous trick by the PC crowd to co-opt the negative connotations of racism onto anything they want. They equated racism with "homophobia", and then extrapolated the "phobic" suffix onto a variety of other labels. Racism is unjustified because we've determined that there is no substantive difference between people based on race. Sexism is unjustified because we've determined there's no substantive difference mentally* between men and women. The same has not been demonstrated for all the other groups they're trying to jumble in together, such as "fatphobia", "islamophobia", "transphobia", etc.
Best decision I made was getting into weight lifting last March. My body looks and feels like a whole new machine. And my hormones are normalized. Anybody who hates on fitness is jealous, irrational, lazy, or any combination of the 3.
My grandfather was a 4th dan in Judo, a 4th degree black belt in BJJ, and a black belt in Ju-Jutsu. He was a combat instructor while he was in the Marine Corps, and he started training my brother and I in these martial arts from an early age. My brother is 13 months older than me, and my grandfather told us both we had to be a whole hand before he would start training us. So my brother started training a little over a year before I did. By the time I was 18 I had obtained black belts in these martial arts myself. I later joined the Marines and obtained black belt instructor status in MCMAP (Marine Corps Martial Arts Program). I grew up in the gym in order to stay fit enough to effectively practice these martial arts. During my 3rd tour I was severely injured. I was shot twice. One of the bullets ended up hitting my ribcage and sent fragments hurling into my spine. Luckily the trauma I sustained didn't cause any permanent damage, but I did end up having to learn to walk again in physical therapy because of the injury. I could have given up and stayed in a wheelchair for hell of a lot longer than I did. The reason I didn't is because of the never surrender attitude taught to me by my grandfather as well as my time in the military. Going to the gym helped me to regain strength and function in my legs. So if going to the gym makes me a far right extremist, I'll gladly wear that badge with honor.
I thank you and your granddad for your service! Awesome that you were able to appreciate and honor his legacy. More amazing still that you were able to recover from that. One thing I know is that spirit has a lot to do with it. Met a guy who had been a career Marine from WWII through to just before Vietnam. He was 95 and still up and walking around. Even with everything he saw, he said that every day he could put his feet in the ground was a good day. I think Marines are just built differently in the head, in a good way though, built to endure.
@@TheBaumcm I appreciate the compliment, and I agree *some* marines certainly are built different haha. He was one of the bravest men I ever knew, and I can honestly say if it wasn't for his guidance, not outright direction, but clear guidance I would never have become the man I have. Talking with some of his older Marine buddies, they were definitely cast from a much tougher mold. I don't think I could ever put myself on their level, especially my grandfathers. There is no such a thing as "toxic" masculinity. Masculinity is masculinity.

They hate toxic masculinity until they need it.

The brain is nurtured by the body. To have a maximized cognitive output, one must exert maximum effort with their body. Studies have shown that muscle release chemicals signals for the brain, and stimulate it in a positive way. The number 1 way to increase physical and cognitive longevity, and reduce dementia alzheimer's, etc. is to work out
Dude if that’s what is talked about at the gym I better start going
Really? most people who go to gym have/ start to develop low self esteem because when they work out and start to look better, a standard is being set in their mind that they feel like they need to meet or maintain but as working out need dedicating and hard work which is not always an easy case in life when they fail to meet their self established "minimum standard" they become miserable and bitter, also no matter how much you say 'i work out for myself', there is always an element of wanting people's admiration and attention to a degree being one of the key elements in motivating to work out in the first place. What I'm saying is people are superficial and this superficialities can manifest in various ways and lifestyles. And many times superficialities and philosophies often sound similar.
Go to gym, turn on podcast, work out brain and body.
Or just pump iron while listening to Brett Cooper
Its amazing what happens to your mind when you strengthen yourself such that you are no longer chained by anxiety and self-doubt
This is so fucking funny
Yo me too bro

Clearly, Socrates was a Nazi /s
Socrates was obviously a far right extremist and a major advocate of mental supremacy.
Or even woman. I absolutely love the gym and sports.

Don’t listen to these guys. I workout 6 days a week, but I’ve worked up to it, my body requires more & more to reach overload. Progress is determined on time you spend strengthening your body.

Hey bro! 👊🏽 you got this. Keep working at it, you’ll get to your goal in NO time. You already have the right mindset.
One step at a time and you’ll get there. All the best on your journey back to the gym. Let no fat loving leftists tell you what to do.

That’s the point! They want men to we fat, weak, docile, lonely, miserable, drugged, and easy to control and manipulate.
@@HeKenMars4Ever Same. It just feels nice to stick it to them while helping myself of course.
I made a decision to live a healthier lifestyle last June. Let me tell you, I’m not looking back ever! I’m down 50lbs 440-390, so far, and still going
keep it up!
Keep up the work never give up your only achieve failure when you give up.
Damn, hell yeah! I'm incredibly happy for you! Keep the train going and make sure to be proud of the progress you make no matter how small it is. Being able to do an extra rep here or there where you couldn't before is incredible! Lots of love and I wish you the best!

i wish i'd gone to the gym when i was in my early 20's. It’s just a small group that’s pushing these ridiculous terms… go to the gym, it’s more diverse.
I love being 'fatphobic' while going to the gym with my overweight mother

And people who don't have that motivation resent those who do 😂
I was trying to convince myself to go through with my workout routine tomorrow, and watching this video gave me the motivation I needed.
I have already done a work out today and after watching this, I think I’m gonna do another work out 😂! Thanks for the motivation lefties!
Outside of maybe some upper class yuppies that are image obsessed, it's probably mostly right wing people
Everything always has to be politicised? Someone can’t be accountable and be left leaning and go to the gym lmao? A completely impossible situation…?
@Nik Probably more often than not lol.

I got called fat phobic at a grocery store because of the items in my cart. As a bodybuilder who has to put on weight, mostly fat, in order to gain the tiniest bit of muscle, that's hardly fatphobic

People always have something to say. But deep down, they know they were pathetic in your presence.
I love that the people who say that stuff has zero logic whatsoever. Like sure, the groceries in your cart is somehow offensive to me because.... People told me so. It's a ridiculous mindset to care what another grown person puts in their cart at the grocery store.
I feel like part of it is self accountability. If you work out alone only you hold yourself accountable. Which shows that anyone can do anything if they are accountable. Your shortcomings in life aren't because whatever ism you fall under.

Love how people told me that being less of a nerd, more social, losing weight and all these things would finally turn me more in line with the average person in my age group and all it did was manifest my beliefs even more lol.
What are those feelings?
And this is a genuine question, what feelings were manifested by implementing those elements in your life?
Exactly dude. You do you.

I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with those people so frequently but It’s great to see you’ve bettered yourself and experienced authentic support while on that journey.
When first reading your original post, I thought you hinted on a negative spiral.
That going to the gym only isolated you from “society” even more.
I’m relieved that initial assertion of mine turned out to be false.

Good on you. Keep going 💪😁
My life has improved in every single way since I joined the gym. I wouldn't be the man I am today without it. Also, I am fatphobic and proud
Anyone who thinks exercise is bad is immediately at the bottom of the food chain
I like your channel for many reasons, but one random thing in particular, I've never seen anyone work in sponsor messages so seamlessly

Fatphobia is a good thing
I’ve been working out hard this semester. The more I workout the more I appreciate those who are more fit than me, because I understand more and more what they’ve had to do to get that great looking body. Granted toning is not always healthy, but I have my goals and I’m not going to say it’s wrong to want to better your body. I’m even going to try more weights instead of cardio
I've been assaulted numerous times in my life and THAT is why I train and lift weights. Also, I just like to feel good and look good.
Going to the gym has helped me build confidence not only in how I look but what I can achieve. Pushing down walls of discomfort and showing myself what I’m made of.

The gym mentality is all based on you get what you work for, you work hard, struggle thru pain and suffering, being proud of your accomplishments. Having something to show at the end that you worked hard for. It also shows drive and determination. Dedication and and a will not to quit. These are qualities we should encourage in everyone.

Saying someone is fatphobic, is like saying he is cancerphobic.
PHOBIA!!!!

Thank u for your service INDEED
@@TheBaumcm I appreciate the compliment, and I agree *some* marines certainly are built different haha. My grandfather was awarded two purple hearts (well one purple heart, and then a star indicating his second if you want to get technical haha).
