This was a joy to watch. I often hear how Shanahan is a master at setting up one play call after another. This was a nice illustration.
Michael Fraser Yup. Whether he was in HOU, WSH, CLE, ATL, SF...he always got the most out of the players. I love his style offense. Should be a great matchup with the Browns this Monday!
I consider myself a pretty "smart" NFL fan I guess, but seeing the run plays and PA broken down so well I learned a lot

Shanahan is also expert at predicting future defenses and calling plays specifically designed to defeat them. His mind is operating several plays ahead, like a chess grand master..
agreed! shannahan mind is what made the falcons o great in 16. Kyle has an amazing feel for it.

True, but keep in mind after having their way with the Patriots in Super Bowl LI in the first half the Patriots DC shut the Falcons down in the second half. So the question is ..how well does Kyle adjust when things stop going as planned?
George Clinton is day pretty good, that’s a opinion and proof on paper. I think the falcons proteas the head coach thinking they had it in the bag.

He's the Jets Ace in the Hole now. Darnold will open a lot of eyes on 2021. Stick with Sam and pick Penei. Sign a #1 WR FA like Allen Robinson. Get a power/dynamic back like Harris or Etienne top of the second and you're off to the races. Smash mouth football and play-action passing gets instant gains. Look at how well Baker played with decent protection and a punishing run game. He carved up the Steelers in their wildcard upset.

Awesome explanation of the Shanahan offensive scheme! It essentially is an improved version of the zone scheme his father Mike Shanahan created from Legendary Bill Walsh West Coast offense.

I used to cover the Texans during the Kubiak era. His offense struggled with teams that over pursued because his system was based off of Alex Gibbs who did not believe in the gap scheme and counters.
Now, I look at the Texans and have to imagine how good Watson would be in this system.
Great video, that confirms everything I ever complained about during the Kubiak era.
