People like to hate and whine about Teen Titans Go! always but something about I love of that show is the writers being self-conscious, their meta-jokes always crack me up

They even had the origins done The black suit was gonna find a new host in Cletus after he escaped from prison and it would birth Carnage, making him one of the main villains of season 3 Scorpion was going to be created by Jameson in a desperate attempt to get rid of Spiderman, except it would follow the classic story of Gargan being trapped in his suit and going insane Hobgoblin was gonna be Roderick Kingsley who stole parts of Osborn's tech from the wreckage on the roof in season 2. However we weren't going to know who hobgoblin was until the end of the season and several people throughout the show were gonna be accused until the big reveal
Yeah we could’ve have a carnage design similar that of venom and Venom vs Carnage could have happened with Spider man in the mix and peter I don’t 2 scenarios/chooses kill the symbiote or let Eddie keep to become a hero or antihero for it at the end when they kill carnage and Cletus after that or a venom and spider man team up against/vs carnage that could have been the episode that would go by
Man this show had so much potential. With all your characters set up literally in Season 1 and 2ready for when their need (Hobgoblin, Carnage, Ben Reilly, The Jackal, Scorpion, Kingpin, The Prowler, and many more) and an amazing storyline, this show COULD'VE RAN FOR SO LONG. Especially considering that Peter is still 16 by the end of Season 2, meaning that a whole show leading to his college years would give us another 2 seasons alone!
Its been so long since I've seen this show. Electro had a pretty cool design now that I think about it. It was like a fusion between his og costume and that whole pure energy thing from Ultimate Spiderman
I like how, even here, they were setting up future storylines. Just goes to show how much foresight the writing team had. And there were all sorts of moments like this that would set up future episodes, some as late as season 2, and honestly it was one of my favorite things about the show that I wish more series did nowadays. Oftentimes it feels like a lot of shows out there just plan things as they go, and while this sometimes does work, when it doesn't it really can lead to an irritating show that contradicts itself or undoes a character's arc just because the writers didn't know what else to do.

The real reason it ended was the reacquisition of spider-man by marvel. Spider-man’s animation rights were returned to marvel, however the show was owned by sony, meaning neither could make more episodes, putting it in an impossible limbo, leading to its unfortunate cancellation. The show was basically collateral damage for the deal.
