- The Rangers team of the sixties included some of the greatest players in their history. Legends like John Greig, Jim Baxter, Sandy Jardine and Willie Henderson, thrilled the fans as they dominated the League Championship.
Some of the best goals of the decade came from Jimmy Millar, Ralph Brand, Davie Wilson and Kai Johansen.

they used to call him the warhorse. was an integral part of the success of the Rangers team at that time. He had a pub in Leith and my dad used to take me there to get his autograph even though dad was a hIbs supporter. I was his no1 fan mainly because he was a great header of the ball even though he wasnt tall. Great player!

Why Jim Forest is ignored by Rangers & isn’t in the hall of fame is a disgrace,unfortunately I was a young boy & my family had moved to West Sussex because of my Father’s job so I didn’t see the great Rangers team of that era & there was nothing on T.V. or newspapers about Scottish football, I never saw how brilliant Rangers & Jim Forest were @ that time, I was back in Scotland in 1967 & Rangers would’ve won the Cup Winners Cup with Forest & McLean in the team 😢
