Do you know what defamation is? It means there is no truth to what is being said, yet it was either said or published (IE broadcast, spread, etc.). Tinubu will not sue because there is truth to what is being said about him. Falana has every right to sue if there is no truth to what VDM said or published about him. Falz also refered to Mr yakubu former inec chairman as fraudster even when the court did not declare the election conducted by him as fraudulent. So what right does he have to call him a fraudster. Is calling yakubu fraudster not defamatory but the former inec boss allow it to slide because it is not every accusation that you pay attention to else it will be seen as though he is fighting free speech.
So why are the falana's not doing same. What is do special about them. Why must they sue VDM. Why won't they just gloss over the issue and allow it slide. The reason why they can't allow it slide is because they have seen themselves as untouchables hence they don't want anyone to mention their names. But it will not work. We have every right to talk about them as long as they are daily talking about others.

2) The falana's never in clear terms denied what VDM read out, they only asked for apology and threaten to sue.
3) When u make ur analysis based on reports, people hit more on what's reported, not u the analyst of what was reported. U should in same way see VDM as reporting some info he got. He shouldn't be hung for that, he isn't the foundation of the issue. What any aggrieved should at best have done is deny, state their involvement or the truth or go legal with the main source.

In critical view of this i dont see VDM as defaming the falana's. He asked a question and when he said he will only believe it if the falana's deny it coz its unbelieveable for him! The anger in many people is that why are the falana's not denying the details of the bobrisky audio but asking him to apologise and act as if bobrisky doesnt exist or didnt say harmful things to their names.
