This looks refreshingly wonderful. Charlie Day is a very likable lead for movies like this. Always thought he would transition well from Its Always Sunny to film roles. Supporting cast, plot looks great too.
This is the modern version of the 1979 Peter Sellers film "Being There." The film and Sellers received Oscar nominations, if memory serves me correctly.
Loved Mr Day's scientist/clandestine Kaiju drifter character in "Pacific Rim", he and his science pal brought so much "seriously realistic" comedy to the movie. I'd be happy to watch him "drift" again into a superstar suit surrounded by looney entertainers. And late Ray Liotta? 😻 How amazing.

It's a retelling of "Being There" an Oscar winning movie from 1979 staring Shirley MacLaine and Peter Sellers
Reminded me of the book, "Being There" by Jerzy Kosinski. So much comedy crammed into that cast, can't wait to watch this!
