Tjose table tops look great. Well done. Not really mods, except for that vent being now a window, but vast improvements inside for sure. Very clean. I have a 16' of the same year and model, and one thing from the newer ones I don't care about is the additional extra storage in the bathroom, makes the bathroom smaller that what actually is.
Well I’m looking at these, and although this was sold you both did a wonderful job of showcasing the Casita and what it has to offer, and some very tasty interior make overs 👍
@Surfrby thank you! We were very proud of our subtle renovations to the Casita. I sometimes wonder if the new owners are appreciating it like we did :-) Thank you for watching!
Nice to see someone do it RIGHT! Most people that modify RV’s do it wrong! We bought a 100% original 1996 Casita Freedom 16’ yesterday, very clean and nice. All of the modified ones we saw for sale online didn’t suit our tastes at all… but you did a BEAUTIFUL JOB on yours👍
@Bike-N-Hike , Casco, Maine thank you so much. This mod was definitely challenging I have to admit, Todd had to coax me to the finished product. At the end I was ready to be done. Thanks for watching and for the compliment! :-) ~Carla
Darn it! I missed my chance to buy this beauty. Oh I love the colors and all of the work you've done!!! I guarantee some of the designers are helping themselves to your upgrade ideas.
One of the few people I have seen that did a really nice job of remodeling one. I have looked at a few , but the crazy things people did made then look terrible. I will wait and just buy a new one.
3 years later, you've got thousands of views and 100 comments. Will I find a video that's more about the two of you than the campers? Gonna go looking.
Amazing job on the casita, nicest one I have ever seen. The interior looks so modern and clean with that cabinet door refinish. Would you mind tell me what type of paint and epoxy you used? Also did you use anything to smooth out the wood grain on the door before painting. Thanks so much. Subscribed.
Hi Travel Hawk and thanks!! We used this epoxy resin from Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M1RAW6D/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I would recommend getting a higher quality epoxy than this one if you do it though. I am pretty sure the better the quality of it, the easier it is to use but I could be wrong. I had some issues with a few bubbles and a few bugs but all in all it came out beautifully. We did use coat of primer on the cabinets before we painted them along with sprinkling the glitter on. Once they were painted, glittered and dried, that's when we poured the epoxy over them. Thanks for watching our videos! ~Carla
Travel Hawk I agree. Almost makes me forget about the furry walls and ceiling. They made this look so nice 👍🏼. Escape and Bigfoot should copy the Casita bathroom.
Greg Wallace Absolutely stunning! Incredible remodel choices. You made an outdated bleak interior look bigger, brighter and cleaner. Loved it all. If I find well, I’m going to hire you guys to remodel it. The couple who bought it scored big-time.
Beautiful job on the cabinets, and floor. Love the sparkly white. Casita should make all their campers look this way. 😍
Thank you Dana!!

You guys did an amazing job on those cabinet doors

Awesome work on the cabinets.
Thanks for posting, loved your thoughtful add on and epoxy painted doors. Someone got lucky getting your hand me down.

Superb level of craftsmanship. Whoever bought it was very lucky.
Thanks Anthony! We appreciate that. I hope they are enjoying it.
Wow! Someone got a nice camper! Loved all the upgrades! Nice touch with that portal in the wet bath!
+Pam Beralek thank you, a very nice couple from Knoxville, TN bought it from us. We hope to one day see it again at a fiberglass trailer rally 😀
Didn’t miss a detail just beautiful 💖

What an awesome renovation! Love the look of the cabinets.
Thanks TWD! We had fun doing it but it was a lot of work. :)
Beautifully done! I wish all Casitas looked so modern.
Thank you Michelle!
We saw a Casita for the first time this spring while camping, but never got a chance to look inside. Great job on the upgrades! New subscriber, here.
Thank you and thanks for subscribing. Casitas are very cool campers!
The Casita was pretty inside. Looked new. Good luck guys. We’ll be seeing you soon.
Steven Miller thank you! Hope to see you and Debbie again soon!
Slick little Camper by far the best I seen for camping .
Wow, really nice remodel.
Looks better than stock.
You guys should consult for Casita..lol
Wow! Wish it was for sale now!! I love it.
best interior of scamp, casita, boler EVER! Nice job!
Thanks Anita!
Nicest Casita I've ever seen. You did an excellent job.
Thanks Karen! And, thanks for watching our video! ~Carla
Y'all did a beautiful job on your refinish.
Colonel Mark Julifs, thank you so much!
Could you share the color name and brand/type of paint used on cabinets and product names for the glitter and clear coat. Nice job. Thanks
Looks better then new .
What a beautiful job!
Thanks Nancy and thank you for watching our videos!

@Chuck M thank you for the nice compliment. We really did want to make it tasteful for when we decided to sell it. Thank you for watching!
Very cool Todd you are a genius when it comes to anything that has wheels!!
Thanks!
The Casita Family wishes Ya'll---HAPPY TRAILS!
Thanks Allen, Hope to see you at a fiberglass rally in the future.
I really liked the Casita and all the up dates, but the Big Foot is a better rig. All the best on the open road.🛣

What kind of epoxy did you use on the cabinets? We are wanting to do ours. Great job btw
love the inside of the casita.
Thank you Susana!
I’m sorry if I missed it but could you share what product you used as a top coat for the cabinet doors?
Lauren, we used clear two part epoxy resin. It’s kind of expensive and very messy but turns out awesome!
so nice!
How did you add the lighting to the outside? Or what lighting did you use?
Mind sharing what the sale price was? You did a good job in maintaining it.
nevermind, 14,900 ---noticed you answered...that was a very fair price considering the work you put into the interior
@@RickMartinTH-cam thank you, we did put a lot of work into it and definitely would have kept it if we had not found the Bigfoot :-)

Runaway Roses thanks for the reply. Really enjoy all your videos, let it be diy, camping or rally ones.

I'm in TN....good deal!
Where did you get the caps/beauty rings and the high faucet spout?
Could you please tell me what the floor was that you put in? I know it was plank vinyl but what brand?
maybe you could post a link here for the flooring I would greatly appreciate it
Nice❤️
Did u sell it. If not whats the asking price
that is a nice casita!
Thank you Blanca!
You still have it if is for sale how much Do you want
Hi Anibal, No we sold this a few years back. This was the first video we ever did so we have kept it up on our channel. Thanks for watching!
Forgot to ask , does the Casita have brakes? Thanks again
Light gray? Love them more!
Did you finally sell it and what price
Yes we sold it about a year and a half ago or so. Thanks for watching!
All the vents are on the awning side. Prefer those to be on the other side.
Thanks for watching!
Is this still available?
Love the white cabinets not a fan of the faux wood laminate!
What did you sell it for and why did you get rid of it?
Greg, we wanted something a little bigger so we bought a Bigfoot 21RB. We loved the Casita though!
How much did you sell it for?
@@TheGregWallace we sold it for $14,900 to a very nice couple in Tennessee. We hope they are enjoying it as much as we did.
Greg Wallace Absolutely stunning! Incredible remodel choices. You made an outdated bleak interior look bigger, brighter and cleaner. Loved it all. If I find well, I’m going to hire you guys to remodel it. The couple who bought it scored big-time.
Shar Mann I'm not the one who sold it, it was Rnaway Roses, but I agree with you that they made it nice.
Can you get a periscope with these things???
I don't know but they have mods for everything, I wouldn't doubt it, LOL. Thanks for watching John!
@@RunawayRoses Are you guys going to buy another trailer , if so which models / brands do you like ? Thanks for the video on the Casita.
Yall don't still have this do you
No it's been sold but thanks for asking.
Runaway Roses I didn't figure but had to ask...lol.. happy travels
I lmagine it is sold by now!
Did you sell it?
+Marty Gufler , yes it has been sold.
Why did u sell
We sold it because we bought the Bigfoot camper. We wanted something a little bigger.
Why buy it
