Update: This has now been fixed! Go get your liquids!! -Howdy friends, this seems to be not working as of the spring molting beta going main. I have reasons to believe that this is an unintentional bug, so I'll leave the video public for now. I will continue testing it as new updates are released. This should of course still work in older versions of the game.-
Fun thing about this is you don’t need salt rivers you just need a dram of slime and the ability to cook. When you do it gives you spit slime and you can cover the whole map and as the probability of transmutation is rolled for each tile of liquid it gives much better odds. The amount of warm static you can pour on a map (for whole map effect transmutation) is 4 so it’s not a waste to cover a map in liquid. You can transmute any item into almost anything and the maximum amount of items a single pour of warm flux can transmit is 4 at a time (stacks of 4 of the same item are counted as 1 item so if you pour warm static on 4 wood arrows you get one new item and have 3 arrows left over) it’s easy to farm vary good items like zetachrome and cryosteal as well as black mots and quantum dots you can even get a 10 credit cybernetics card from wood arrows (it can take a couple rounds and if something terns into food it’s never becoming anything but food or a corpse)
First, the alchemist always has a warm static, and he should be easy to get to (yes, Susa is easy). Secondly, slime glands are better to use. You can make as much liquid pools as you want, anywhere.
You can also dig your way into the moon stair to grab dilute static to sell 1 waterskin of dilute static is worth over 1k drams of water i usualy sneak into moon stair to grab some as early as possible
That idea came to me by accident, I was looking for a river through the marshes to record this video when I accidentally wandered into a desert tile with a salt river and thought "wait a minute... would salt work?" Of course after some testing it does, and it's much better as you don't have to worry about -watervines- brinestalks or trees obscuring your vision or getting turned into potentially dangerous plants.

TH-cam algorithm serving me some fantastic deep cuts
300 hours in this game and never thought of that, great video
Another way you can find warm static - esper hunters. Entropic jelly. But I think its have rare chance.
lul I was just doing the evaporation method that asian guy did. This is great gg
comment for visibility.
Does this work with the new patch?
Using a salt river was actually a great idea, I sorta thought about this when I was first experimenting with static. Absolutely love it

@@sproins yeah exactly. I also tried doing it in the lake and uhh, yeah I wouldn’t recommend it honestly
