- When looking for quads for my kid I looked everywhere to find out if the DS 250 was good in the dunes and could only find one video. Bought this quad for about $600 and put a little love into it. Kid clocked a little over 110 miles of dunes on this trip. I've installed the 14 tooth sprocket and have on 22 inch snow tires, other than that it's stock. If you're looking for a quad for your kids to learn to dune this is a winner. After several trips he's ready for a clutch.
