This is a real beauty, a modern no-holds-barred Aussie muscle car 👍🏁 I wish the cars in Street Machine magazine would move 15 years into the future and take some inspiration from this build.
This is very tasteful. I'm not a big Holden guy but as a young young child loved the Monaros. I'm 27 now and have become big on golden era Honda and BMW/Porsche stuff. This gives off the Spoon EK9 Civic vibe and I love it. Very well done!
Every now and then I'll come back to this video cause I really love this car. Just the right combination of performance and tasteful styling. I think it needs one of those S1 shifters though.
This beast is absolutely bloody beautiful, very happy to know that it will be representing Aussies over in the states. Well done on the build, as a Monaro owner I'm always excited to see new content. Hopefully you guys can get some footage from your travels.
The GRM Monaro's back in the Nations Cup and Bathurst 24 Hour days had a category imposed rev limit of just 5700. They also ran 30mm air restrictors as regulated by PROCAR and this all basically limited the cars to about 600 bhp. Without the restrictions the GRM Monaro's (which ran GRM developed LS6 V8's) had upwards of 700 bhp. At either bhp figure they still had a massive 780 nm of torque which was needed as the cars also weighed in at 1400 kg. The Monaro's were the heaviest of the Nations Cup cars, 20 kg heavier than the V10 Chrysler Viper ACR.
Sensational build Team Harrop. We should have seen a lot of these go racing back in the day its a shame we didn’t. Quick open the factory back up and start producing some again. Holden, Holden ,Holden! Will you be making some of these race parts and body kit pieces for production. I’d like some race trim and so would many mire people. This is how they should have looked leaving the factory. Well done to all involved in the build!!!
Guys I am in the U.S,are these parts available for the 06 GTO lovers and owners? The rear spoiler, the 12 bolt Harrop rear, and the front bumper with the splitter?
