I see a lot of people in the comments are confused so here’s a complex answer to clear things up, so basically and error and infinity are pretty much the same thing while there are some differences in it I don’t remember the from my collage years at Princeton but I do remember that on a collage calculator zero divided my any number is simply a divide by 0 error however if you divide with numbers closer to zero such as 0.000001 or 0.00000000001 theoretically there is an infinite possible amount of zeros possible in front of the one which explains why it’s infinity for those who don’t understand on a coordinate plane with x/y there are quadrant 2 and 4 which we will use to represent the equations possible to get infinity quadrant 2 continues upwards to positive infinity whilst quadrant 4 goes down to negative infinity. If there was more to the equation we could use y=mx+b slope intercept formula to find a slope and get a better answer. I hope this clears anything up😊

it doesn't work on some caculators and if you have one that can divide by . you are lucky but if you try to divide any number to . is infinity (example 826 divide by . is infinity)
