Ma boys I am a florist and I work with floral FOAM* frequently. It’s not as bad as you think, just don’t breath the dust in when it’s dry and you’re solid.
Your choice to throw caution to the wind as a florist working working with a known carcinogen makes me immediately skeptical of you. Sorry.

When it’s wet you are less likey to inhale the dust and fibers is what I’m saying lol. Don’t get me wrong it’s still bad, we gotta be super careful when we’re unpacking it from shipment and putting it away and cleaning around it because that spits up the dust which is terrible for you.

Yes, they crinkle really well. They would be really good to juxtapose other sounds much like in this video where it's squishy and then you get the crinkle of the little tiny umbrella. 👍

I always love getting the opportunity to use this stuff, but it's always been to help arrange flowers in, so I it never felt right to have others around me arranging beautiful flowers with it while I sat on the floor squishing it and giggling like a maniac! 😂
I grew up in a flower shop so I used to play with this quite a bit, I can smell this video.
If I could still get tingles, I would get so many from this. The sounds are both delicate and satisfying!

Poison? What kind of video did you watch? Floral foam doesnt give you poison, it gives you skin cancer and plus, if he plays with it onky 2 times he wont get it
I couldn’t remember what playing with floral foam does, so I just said poison to generalize it a bit, also, even if he has only played with it twice, it is clearly popular so he will be doing it more. Better to prevent than to treat, so it may be a good idea for him to wear gloves and maybe a mask, because I think they may also release fumes when wet, but you might want to fact check me on that because I couldn’t remember the name of cancer.
@@crinklyonion1410wet floral foam is denser and traps all the bad things chemicals iirc so it should be fine, also because a lot of the chemicals are taken out during production he shouldn’t need to wear gloves and the only safety issue is inhalation
Loved it! Absolutely splendid! But make sure to be careful! I'd suggest what the other comments have already stated: wear protection (masks, gloves, etc.)! It's not that bad. The toxic chemicals in it are very miniscule by the end of the production process and even those are only going to be harmful if you eat it or breathe in any dust. However, he is keeping it wet so there shouldn't be any dust issues.

It contains known carcinogens (agents that cause cancer) like black carbon and formaldehyde- which is a known caustic agent (irritant to lungs) and who’s derivatives like formalin are used during embalming of corpses for funerals. For me, I rather just the foam + any tool used to make sound with it directly, although the umbrella sound was nice, it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but the video is still nice, I just rather the satisfying sound of the foam it's self + your previous one is one of my favourite asmr videos of all time, I watched it 4 times in 1 day it was that good, I've fallen asleep to it 3 or so times already 😍

Florists use it to make arrangements . It's usually used as a base for large pieces or to hold flowers in vases .
Yeah, like Lord noodles said. As the name implies, it's mostly used for floral arrangements, to help it all stick together better in a sense.
