What gave his group the authority to elect a pope of their own? We can criticize Pope Francis, John Paul the II, Benedict XVI and in fact, we should. However, sedevacantism and forming committees (without any apostolic authority) to elect an alternative pope is insane. If it were possible to do that, then we would have thousands of popes around the world. Pray for this guy, he's lost and he's misleading others.
