Thanks for the video. Really helped setting everything up including when you entered the W5RGV-11 (06:56) I entered W5RGV-1 to make my connection. Thanks & 73, KI5DOG
Hi Joe, K5QW, I have the paid version of Vera FM, connected to Kenwood TS2000 via Signalink. I can connect to Vera FM just fine, but I cannot do the Autotune to any of the nodes down here (Weslaco). I do have the record level set so Vera FM shows 1:00 o'clock. When I start a connection to a node it fails without much info. Any ideas? Kim
There is a USB driver on ICOM's site. Unplug the radio from your computer and then install the driver you downloaded from ICOM and then plug the cable between the radio and computer and hopefully that will get the frequencies to change correctly for you. Also, I think there is a setup option in the VARA FM menu that lets you enter your radio info. so it talks to your radio. I hope this helps. 73

Great video, thank you for posting.
I’ll be doing this as soon as my DigiRig arrives. Saving your video as a favorite.
Thanks and 73,

I am glad it helped.

Glad it is working for you now. 73
Thanks for the tutorial!
My Pleasure.
I'm going to guess that this requires a soundcard to use VARA and not the built in TNC in something like a Kenwood D72?
Yes, this requires a soundcard interface to use VARA. A conventional TNC does not work.
