You turned that into a nice car Jamey. Give G3 a try rather than T-Cut, its a great product for use on the mop. You will save money and make more money by also staying away from Halfords and buying things like clay bar off eBay and similar such sites.
The non turbo 1.4 is the more reliable Astra J engine. We have one in the family and they drive brilliantly, parts from breakers are cheap because there are so many about.
Looks like you did well with that purchase. I’ve found the clutch and gearbox have issues on that model of Astra. I drove a lot of them when I was a yard operative at Manchesters branch of BCA. Also they sometimes have coolant codes displaced on the dash - readout. It came up really well after that polish. I finally got my claim sorted too after I had my crash on BCA grounds from when I worked for them back in 2022. Not sure If you remember that comment from a few months/Videos ago. With that money I’m gonna start trading by buying cars from them. 😂 Make some money from the money I’ve won from them. I have £6k to set up with. I should be able to purchase some good stock with that I reckon. I should do okay as I know how they operate. I was with them for 3.5 years.

The car looks really nice mate you done a cracking job on it
Great transformation. Instead of polishing, use something like ag rapid ceramic spray. Great results with less prep time.

The 1.4 aspirated is gutless. 88bhp
@@grahamherbert3612 but more reliable
for an older family car a 1.4 non turbo is a safe bet. Less to go wrong.
