Well, as an American who used to live in Europe, who would not be to opposed to having a secondary residence in the uk, I can say having spent 10 + years in the home improvement industry, this project was very well done. They didn't come in and strip it down and go cheap on the so-called modern interior, what you just a code name for you went broke - they kept the interior transitional, which gave you contemporary elements, you could sprinkle some water in it, but not lose the identity of the era home you're trying to portray, ranch homes give you a little bit of leeway, very well executed. 👍
