Cub Cadet ZTS1 mows tall grass.

Cub Cadet ZTS1 46" mower tackles tall grass at Historic Cordelia Church. Mower height 4.5" and grass height 9 to 12" and stalks even taller. Conditions were dry but cloudy. Given the height of the mower a few stems bent over and escaped one pass mowing but not enough to mow twice. Mower speeds of 3.5 mph had more escapes than 2.5 mph.

Herbicide sprayer (8 gallon) with wand and a 2 nozzle boom that sprays the width of mower. Boom controlled with a solenoid with switch located near hour meter. The sprayer platform has a ammo box for sprayer parts, 12v battery for sprayer pump and wire flags in a pipe for marking sprayed areas and hazards.
