One of my family member has this so i will suggest to seek medication and prepare yourself by educating urself about schizophrenia. Gradually whenever any episode happens you should make it a habit to write down what happened previously during the episode and what was the trigger to care for him. Be patient and whenever the episode happens calm him down by empathizing him about how he is feeling. It will be fine and he might get well within few years if you take good care and ensure he doesn't skip medication. Help him better understand his situation as well. Try to maintain mental peace and have positive thoughts , that's all in ur control. I
