This video is about an excursion in a snowy forest.
The first snow has fallen. I was so glad I did the camp with full snow.
In the forest I built myself a shelter, a tipi shelter. fire lit with wet wood! TIPS When everything in the forest is very wet and has been for days it is very difficult to find dry wood, what do we do in this situation? We are looking for a tree that has been felled and is approx. 15 to 20 cm. diameter and cut it into pieces, then after that we split the wood and let's take everything that is in the middle because only in the middle of the beam will it be dry! and this is how you start the fire without any problems! and then you can burn the entire remaining beam!
It may be that this is complex but the fire will start on the first try!
To eat I grilled 2 steaks and to drink hot tea from Mount Olympus
My dog Bonny got lamkottlets to eat and dog food!
Bonny slept in my tippi shelter that night!

The wet snow didn't make it easy to build a shelter or make fire but your skills always come through. Wow, those steaks look yummy. GRlife has kept getting in the way. As you know I've not made it to Greece yet. But I will come. One day when your cell lights up with my name calling you. It will be to say I'm there in Greece. Come take me to your mountain. Show me the beautiful place you've made. And shelters. I have very heartbreaking news. My sweet German Shepherd Bella died on March 30 2023 thursday in my arms . She died from the disease degenerative myopathy. Me and My rotty SAMUEL are so sad. Bella and SAMUEL like woody and Bonny. They too had puppies. SAMUEL keeps looking for her and last night started this heart wrenching howling. So mournful. I love my dogs, my Bella and SAMUEL more than some humans. I am missing her so much. I will see her again at another time and place. The only peace I get from her dying, is that I know in my heart she not hurting any longer. But I miss her so much not being here on earth with me. My heart is BREAKING GR. I KNOW YOU LOVE BONNY AND WOODY THE SAME WAY. Affectionately, Debra
