The thing that bugs me is Skip basically said Shannon had to retire at 37 while Brady retired at 45 which is true but to compare the two is dumb considering both are different positions in football. I don't watch a lot of sports or sports news, but Shannon has a presence about him. His tone, his demeanor, his values. He is hilarious and serious with perfect execution. He is the only reason I keep up with any sports news AT ALL. I hope wherever he goes, it's good chemistry.

Skip went a little too far a couple times...myself I'm more concerned with the fact that Skip stifled creativity in not allowing Shannon to explore a few topics of his own. Perhaps it's because Skip felt unprepared to discuss those topics. As far as LeSean McCoy I like it, I say go for it. It's not like we had any idea how charismatic or talented Shannon was before undisputed! Like Shannon himself said : "I was mis-cast". LeSean could have the same type of talent or charisma...some of his takes have been absolutely terrible though. Maybe that's what Skip wants, a set up man that he can shoot down constantly, that's only there for the memes? I did notice that when Steven A. stopped working with Skip his takes got alot better. I've been a Skip Bayless fan for a long time now. He says wild things, has a massive ego, but he definitely knows how to get the best out of his co-host/partner. His antics are hilarious at times too. Definitely not at Unc's level, but still very funny. HOWEVER, I think this has to be a huge wake up call for Skip. A wake up slap, even. Losing Shannon Sharpe this early is not just going to kill their ratings, it might kill the entire show, even. Skips problem is he doesn’t know when to turn it off. He seems constantly in a work/sports mode which is a good trait to a certain point. But I lost so much respect for him and some of his comments that he made about Patrick Mahomes after he was cut from Kansas City. You can tell he was extremely bitter and very petty about it. Skip went a little too far a couple times...myself I'm more concerned with the fact that Skip stifled creativity in not allowing Shannon to explore a few topics of his own. Perhaps it's because Skip felt unprepared to discuss those topics. As far as LeSean McCoy I like it, I say go for it. It's not like we had any idea how charismatic or talented Shannon was before undisputed! Like Shannon himself said : "I was mis-cast". LeSean could have the same type of talent or charisma...some of his takes have been absolutely terrible though. Maybe that's what Skip wants, a set up man that he can shoot down constantly, that's only there for the memes? I did notice that when Steven A. stopped working with Skip his takes got alot better. I think at this point Skip knows he messed up and there's no need to dogpile him anymore...he lost a billion dollar brand basically because he was unwilling to concede a point.. at any time. That show has probably lost MORE than half its value at this time, ge will have to work his behind off to restore that value...IF it's even possible. I've been a Skip Bayless fan for a long time now. He says wild things, has a massive ego, but he definitely knows how to get the best out of his co-host/partner. His antics are hilarious at times too. Definitely not at Unc's level, but still very funny.
HOWEVER, I think this has to be a huge wake up call for Skip. A wake up slap, even. Losing Shannon Sharpe this early is not just going to kill their ratings, it might kill the entire show, even. Skips problem is he doesn’t know when to turn it off. He seems constantly in a work/sports mode which is a good trait to a certain point. At some point we have to recognize that you are indeed a human being and most of the time he will always make a sports take out of something that isn’t really sports related. Like dak being depressed should not have solicited a football take from him yet he lacks social awareness I think and it gets him into major trouble. Skip and Joy might be an interesting setup. She got some interesting takes. If Acho leaves for Undisputed that might be a lil messed up being he's the head of the show but it's his choice and he doesn't own SFY. I wouldn't be surprised if Skip went after T.j Houshmandzadeh or Lavar Arrington.
