Good video one point of constructive criticism use a brighter cord for such a dark knife it is somewhat hard to see the black on black I mean

Absolutely, will def use a brighter cord if I do another one of these knife wrapping videos. Thanks for watching!

Thanx for vid. Been trying to remember how to start the last wrap you did. Glad you gave differnt options, that did not include holes in knife blade. I'm wrapping a saw w/a homemade hickory handle, and there are no holes to pass cord through. We'll see how it turns out.
    Thanx again.

    Nice, simple and well done.
From a visual point of view, better use a paracord which contrasts with the handle and the background, just for pedagogical reasons. Could be green camo or navy teal vs black, does not need to be a fluo pink nor yellow.
If you cut and burn the ends of the rope when it is done, you can hardly undo everything to use the rope separately in case of need and put it back on the handle, so maybe finish the work with an appropriate ending knot.

Thank very much. I'm going to be doing this to my matchete, the handle that came with it came off, so I'm going to wrap the tang. I'm thinking I will do the second way you showed us. Then go over it with the first way. To make it more shock absorbing and more comfortable. Thank you again and God bless.

In terms of paracord length, I think the third metod is the best, because you place one end on the knife, wrap it, and you can find out how much paracord you need at the end and cut it there, rather than guessing beforehand.

What would be the best wrapping technique for that?

I can add another method to the list if it's a thing to have run out of cord one can splice it in and there's a few ways as well to do it with out taking it all apart if that should happen because it unforseen when you think you got it you come short oh of course there are other ways to figure out exact lengths but nobody is wanting to do math at this point

Hey, nice video, but it would be better if you showed the process from your perspective - from the camera's perspective, left and right are reversed. Also, can you give a few examples on how and what for to use paracord? I've never really been in a situation where I wished I had some paracord, or at least I didn't figure out I could solve the problem with paracord. Anyway, I'm looking forward to your next video, thanks!

Redo video using a bright color paracord for contrast to better visual . Dark tang with dark rope washes out the clarity on camera necessary to see what your doing. Otherwise helpful

Use a brighter color that’s easier for the viewer to see what you’re doing. Black paracord on a black handle was not a great choice for a tutorial.
