DSS Altar Server Training Video

We hope this video helps you as a reminder of the things we went over during our altar server training. We are grateful for your service!
A few extra reminders:
This is not the first time God has called you, and it will not be the last. But it is a very special call to be an altar server. Respond to it with enthusiasm. Give it everything you've got!
When the hands are not in use, they should be folded-except when the server is seated.
Shoes: solid black or brown dress shoes. For school Masses you may wear school shoes, we recommend you clean them the night before if you know you will be serving.
Bow of the Head (or Simple Bow)- This is a slow nod. It is made when the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are named together, and at the name of Jesus, Mary, or the saint in whose honor the Mass is celebrated.
We are never in a competition with other altar servers, we serve with love, humility and commitment. A true leader will help his fellow altar servers to do their best!
